For the record, if you support Jschlatt, you don't get to use the "let people enjoy problematic things!" excuse for a real person who has said slurs and not apologised. Supporting someone racist because you believe in your heart that theyre a good person shows that you don't think that saying slurs reflects how good a person someone is. I strongly disagree. I also don't think you can ever know an internet celebrity's true personality or beliefs, so you HAVE to judge them by their actions. You know what Jschlatt's actions have been, and not dropping him is a clear show of priorities.

If you support the rest of the dream smp, I don't care, but I don't understand why you aren't all holding their feet to the fire wrt: Jschlatt being welcomed back into the fold without even an apology. Watching problematic people isn't a crime but the blind trust some of you all have in them all being good people with good judgement is ridiculous.

Dream smp is famous because of everyone who supports it. The point of cancelling is to withold your support conditionally, to see if they will step up and change. It seems like that would be a good idea.

Also, if you're faced with the reality of a person you like doing something problematic and your response is "oh, well they're a good person and they did it so it must be ok" - Get Help.

if anyone’s curious you can find tutorials online easily but the light rotates because of a circle of back to back observers, with another ring of observers underneath looking upwards to feed the signal down into the lamps. it can reach thru 2 rows of lamps, so no other circuitry is needed. it’s very simple and it all fits in the lighthouse roof easily!

if you want to build this yourself, include an off switch (a sticky piston to break the observer circle works nicely). up close it’s functionally just flashing lights and it isn’t pleasant. I mostly had it switched off while I was working on it - if you have epilepsy or are prone to migranes or anything like that, please be more careful with it than I was.
