     hearing people she has told before thought her job was bad, he wasn’t able to put her to an occupation. what could be so bad? christopher tilted his head slightly and his eyes spoke for him, curious on what her job was, “the only person who knows of you is one of my friends and that’s it. which shows why this is going to be a bit difficult to also share with my parents that i am expecting to be a father.” he didn’t know how they’d react or everyone else he was close with, but he knew he’d be able to think of excuses on why they never met her or heard of the young dark haired girl. “i am still wondering – how could your job be so bad?”

“so we both have awkward conversations with our parents coming up... great.” gigi knew her parents would be disappointed with the news. they had her whole life planned out, and a baby came after she married a guy they approved of. she wouldn’t be surprised if they were more disappointed in her “relationship” with chris than being an unwed mother. gigi stayed silent for a moment, hoping what she said next wouldn’t ruin their future. “well, most people think it’s immoral being a call girl...”

“how bad could your job be?” he questioned putting his gaze to his side, “i mean – i am going to have to face a lot of challenges when the baby arrives.” christopher took a small gulp of air, still a bit dazed from the announcement. he wondered what his parents would think, they always had their specific views on chris ever since he was young. and he knew he’d be able to take time off from work, being the ceo it’d be easy and having money was no issue; he’d be able to take however long off as he wanted. “does anyone you know, know about me?”

gigi exhales loudly, trying to calm her nerves. she’d had this conversation on multiple occasions and it never went smoothly. most people freaked out when she told them she was a call girl. some people even stopped talking to her. she was silently wishing he’d react differently. “i don’t think it’s bad, but most people do.” gigi shrugs starting to play with her fingers again. “yeah, well having a baby is a challenge.” she replies still thinking about how to tell him. should she just be frank? was there an easy way to tell him? “huh? oh yeah, just my roommates. have you told anyone about me?”

If it took a couple halfhearted threats to sway the other into going along with what she wanted, Ximena wasn’t below it. “ Yet. And I won’t tell if I get what I want. The weight was lifted off Gigi when Ximena started to speak. Then five more weights were added when blackmail was brought into the equation. “Fine.” Even though she wanted to jump out the window from embarrassment, she needed the money to make ends meet. “I think I’m allowed to be dramatic when you’re standing in front of me asking for sex.” Settling on the bed, Gigi kicks off her heels. “Sorry.” She repeats out of habit. The embarrassment continued to wash over her as she reflected on her mistake. "It’s not fine. I should trust you by now... and I don’t...” The last word escapes like a whisper. The lump in her throat began to bother her as she blocked her tears. Hilary thought after all the time they spent together she’d finally trust him, but her issues blocked her again. “I’m sorry. Can we just forget this happened?” She pleads hoping he’d erase any memory of her being an emotional wreck. “Next time I’ll definitely ask first.”

     thinking of the results, he knew it was his responsibility, and it had always been a possibility when sleeping with the younger female. “no…no i can’t do that,” he didn’t want to be the father who ran away from his creation, “i’ll be there, full support.” christopher had everything in his life set, a great job and money; having the kid now, he knew people were going to find out about the two sooner or later. technically he was prepared for a child, a family, but was not looking for that in that moment in his life.

“really?” the girl looked up stunned. gigi played this conversation in her head hundreds of times and never thought he would actually support them. she always thought he’d choose the easy way out. “even if people find out my job? you’re willing to go through that mess for the baby?” she never talked about her job with christopher. it always made people uncomfortable when she mentioned it, so she decided never to speak about it. but her job was a piece of her she was unable to erase. even though she wasn’t ashamed, she knew the people around chris would never accept her.
