So I made a tutorial because it was requested! I’d like to start off by saying that i’m no professional, I taught myself how to do this. Also I don’t have any kind of special equipment for recording or anything so i’m making this tutorial to the best of my ability. I’ll put the tutorial under the read more.

How long can you keep a stitch in for?

I've never had one in more then a day really. But that's mainly because they weren't made super secure. Now what's recommended i do not know cause i dont really know what happens whenever its in for more then a day. I probably wouldn't recommend leaving it a super long time though cause you want to let the area heal . sorry for the late response I'm on a bit of a hiatus ! I hope this helped though

Hey so I kinda wanna try it and I have a couple of questions! (I already saw your tutorial and its helpful but I have more if you dont mind) /// How long can I leave the thread in? How long should I wait until i can stitch again? (Like the skin will probably be raised and so should I wait until it heals? Thanks! I love your stitching :)

How long you can leave it in im not sure, ive never left one in more then a day. Now if you do something very small (say on your hand) youcould probably do a nother one else where on the hand but if its bigger and a decent amount of space was used ive always let it heal completely! Sorry for the late response im a bit of a hiatus! I hope this helps

As far as I can see in the submitted photos, you don't actually pierce the needle with the skin. But won't it rip very easily then? When I was a kid, the biggest challenge at my school would be to stick a thorn underneath the skin and see who could keep it there the longest (don't ask, we were stupid kids), but the skin would always rip incredibly easily, unless you didn't move at all or something. So won't it be the same here? How long does it actually stay, on average?

I havent really tested how long it stays in . most of the ones I've done I have put in super securely so they stayednin maybe a day.also sorry. If you sent this a long time ago I've been super busy!

Hey i know its been a bit. My personal life has still been kinda crazy, im working on getting my medication soon though! things have been better. but, im not quite there yet in think. love you guys! ill try and do my own work as soon as possible!

Right so, I got into this recently as I'm a big fan of juuzou from Tokyo ghoul and wanted to give my own body some cool stiches, the only problem is many people are telling me that it's self harm, is this true either way I'm not too worried.

I really don’t think its self harm! If you’re doing it correctly it really shouldn’t hurt. Its just a form of body modification. Think of it as a very temporsry tattoo! I hope this helps! :)

Hi, how can I do the knot at the end of the thread? I can do it at the beginning, but not at the end (do you understand? I'm not good at English, I'm sorry)

I end mine similar to how you tie knots at the end of hand sewing. So ill knot it right in front of the last place the i put the needle in my skin. Try this short video that shows how to tie a finishing knot. Hope it helps!

Hey!! I've been wanting to try body stitching for a while now, but I'm still confused on some parts that I hope you'll clear up for me. Is it okay to stitch on places like the back of your hand and wrist, or should I only stick to the palm of my hand?? Also, how do you suggest I sanitize a needle?? I have no clue what the best strategies for that is. Thanks so much!! I'm loving your blog by the way!

Hello! Stitching on the back of the hand or your wrist would be a lot more painful then say your palm or heel of the foot. And that's because the skin there is no where near as thick as those two places. Because the stuff on your palms and feet is calloused and dead skin so its not painful( unless you're going to deep). And for sanitizing you could put it over a flame, use alcohol wipes, or some soapy water and just rinse it off. I hope this helps !

Hey I know its been awhile but I'm not dead! Things have been super crazy and I've had some issues in my personal life that I needed to sort out. Hopefully I'll post something soon.
