Truth is…making those text images is taxing to do, and with everything else that I’m occupied with, it simply made me lose motivation to continue this series. Now upon looking back at the posts, I want to do them again — but I don’t want to fall out of interest again because of the image making.

So I’m willing to compromise. Is it all right with everyone if, instead of making images, I put in pure text instead? I think it might make it easier for me since I won’t have to do any weird special formatting like I did for those text images.

"Me" Prompt #1: Sonic notices Shadow’s acting a little odd and decides to text him about it.

What’s a “Me” Prompt? It is a prompt that I personally had the idea for and decided to do for myself, and then present it in a way that’s entertaining for you guys. In other words, this is me writing my own text ideas. This does not mean I’m not getting to yours! It just means I’m having a little “me” time. Does that make sense?

What's a "Me" Prompt? It is a prompt that I personally had the idea for and decided to do for myself, and then present it in a way that's entertaining for you guys. In other words, this is me writing my own text ideas. This does not mean I'm not getting to yours! It just means I'm having a little "me" time. Does that make sense?

Also, if you think Sonic is being too cheesy here, I'll hit you with a spatula.

I'm very much happy with all of the requests I've gotten! This was just some tiny "for fun" blog and it's gotten so much attention in such a short amount of time!

I don't have the queue filled or have anything done, and I apologize for that. I had to sleep, and now I'm a bit too exhausted to work on any of them. There's a process that comes with these texting things that makes them kind of taxing to do, so I appreciate your patience. Come a few hours' time and I will be working on a few to stack up within the queue as well as one outside of it to tide you guys over.

Once again, thank you for the support! Though at this rate I might have to start closing the ask box...

Two things:

Sonic is not the best at asking anyone out. He's awkward as heck. But it looks like Amy doesn't mind, even if Tails has his misgivings.

Yes, it did take Sonic a full hour to work up the courage to say something.

In Shadow's defense, he was a bit preoccupied with work to check what date it was. After this, Sonic kept texting him Christmas carols until finally Shadow texted Amy and that shut him right up.

Also, fun fact, 2013 had Christmas on Wednesday, not Tuesday.

Ha ha... I think this is completely my bad.

The material that's presented here is totally okay for my blog (it'd likely go under "risque humor") so the problem isn't with the prompt itself. It's for the universe (technically? as I believe Rouge is not in Sonic Underground at all) that it would take place in. As in, I have no idea how I would write Manic and Sonia. I have not watched enough of the show, even though I plan to sometime in the future.

Some may ask, "Why not just read fanfiction/go on Sonic Wiki/Sonic Retro/etc?" For the former, fan-stuff tends to pervert the characters (see: Shadow) and as a result is not a reliable source. As for the latter two, firstly I have no confirmation as to whether or not their information is accurate (in Shadow's case it doesn't seem to be) and secondly it's a rough coverage in exchange for actual experience, if that makes sense? In other words, I need to see the characters in action to get a clearer picture of how they'd actually behave.

Ordinarily I'd just save this ask until I knew more about the characters, but I didn't want you thinking that it got lost or that I'm ignoring it or something. So here's a public address of it: I don't know anything about Sonic Underground aside from fan-stuff and the one episode of it that I watched (which had Knuckles in it). That doesn't mean I will never answer it, but it might take me longer than other asks because of the fact that I don't know two of the characters.

I hope this doesn't bother you too much! I thought I'd be as clear as possible on my stance about it as opposed to having it bite us later.

I would be open to doing Sonaze prompts! If that's a request for one, I can put it in my back log. I think I forgot to put Blaze on my list of characters I can write. I can fix that.

It's amazing how many followers this blog has gotten in such a short amount of time! I'm happy for all of your support, and thank you for the interest that you have in this blog.

It's a little overwhelming, in fact; I have more asks than I've ever gotten on any of my blogs all at once, and that means a lot of prompts, and there are some "me prompts" that I'd like to do for myself here, too! At the same time, I don't want to leave anyone hanging unless it's physically impossible for me to get to something...

So I think this is the time in this blog's life that I'm going to start up a queue. I'm still going to post things outside of the queue because I'm impatient, but I think a queue will help keep this blog on a regular schedule of updating so if there's ever a time I legitimately can't think of how to write out a prompt, there's loads more waiting for you guys.

I would also like to point something else out: I'm getting an awful lot of Sonamy prompts. Now, this isn't a bad thing! Sonamy prompts are fairly easy for me to write for. But I don't want you guys to hesitate if there are any other ships you'd like to see here, and I also don't want you guys thinking that this is a "solely" Sonamy blog. I think that might act as a sort of deterrence for people when I don't want it to be at all! I could, perhaps, start tagging the ship so that people who don't want to see it don't have to? What do you guys think?
