The form is helpful for those without a tumblr account but if you prefer to contact me via tumblr, that works too! You just need to provide the following information:

CD title (in Japanese)

Total duration of tracks you want translated (rounded up to the next minute)

Any relevant information about the CD (e.g. content labels, no. of tracks you want translated, etc)

Top 10 of seiyuu you want to hear voicing ghosts and monsters

Numan does this type of ranking regularly (monthly, I think?), asking to vote for a specific topic/question. I think this is the first time I see Miyu listed among the top 10 in numan (the others are featured there regularly, esp Nobu, Saku, Kamiyan ofc, and Fukujun). And the topic is related to sth that I (and Miyu) am fan of: ghosts and horror stuff.😆

Coming in at 5th place is Miyu Irino. He’s appeared in a number of hit titles, including Osomatsu-san as Todomatsu Matsuno, Haikyuu!! as Kōshi Sugawara, and Yurei Deco as Finn. In addition to anime and games, he's also active in dubbing for foreign films and TV shows.

Irino is known for his delicate, clear-toned voice that often carries a sense of fragility. Kentaro Kumagai, the voice actor who plays Laios in Delicious in Dungeon, was a guest commentator on DDT recently. He requested, and got, a kiss from Dieno!

He also did a great job on commentary - I had no idea, but it turns out he's a big pro wrestling fan.

His review of the kiss, from his twitter:

2 of them are from June (the month, not my name lol) so this is my way of kind of tracking how long it takes for a cd to be approved

I'd loooove to end this post by saying "let me know if there's a CD you'd like to make an ENG translation available and I'll get it up there!" but unfortunately it is not so easy because DLsite has its own tools and rules💔

I mean I'm still open to discuss but the whole process can take a pretty long time since DLsite reviews translations one by one, perhaps line by line (which is fair to ensure quality...! and they're prob short-handed too) you may have to wait weeks to MONTHS before the translation goes up on the site.

disclaimer i didn't buy this yet but if you are into intense ear licking i just found out that ujimatcha (one of the few indie circles i've been keeping tabs on) just released a CD of ONLY ear licking tracks, here's the link! reviews seem promising... there's no dialogue but the last track has a bit of a sexytime feel to it and quality seems good too based on the sample

It's been long overdue but I have started releasing translations on DLsite! You can now purchase works with direct English text subtitles by choosing "English" on the Language Selection and clicking on "teyuuka" :^)

(on some CDs, there may be more than one translator option, hence you'll see a list of names other than mine)

there's only 1 CD up under my pseud at the moment bc the entire process like syncing the subs and getting it reviewed is pretty long and grueling not to mention unpaid LOL but I'll try to get as many CDs up as I can from now on 🙇

NOW, as a disclaimer, I do get a percentage like 10-20% from the CD price when you choose to purchase a CD with my translation, but afaik, it doesn't increase the price for buyers and discount coupons apply as usual, so it's a win-win situation~

As you know, online content is being increasingly monitored nowadays and a mere blog like mine is bound to get nuked someday, and our community is not large enough to get mainstream archival treatment so this is part of my way to backup and preserve translations of our niche interests 🥲

Irino Miyu's life in high school

As always, Miyu is so funny when he tells stories.🤣

I love how Namikawa-san is laughing his head off there.😆

I didn't have much club activities in school (except for volleyball in senior high, which wasn't part of the school but organized by the village), and school work was already enough. So I'm always quite amazed by how active Miyu was (and still is, I'd like to know where he gets all the energy, seriously!), in addition to the voice acting and stage work he did. I remember he mentioned in Kimi to boku event too, that he participated in other activities as well, like the movie club or organizing school events. And he was in the basketball club too.😁
