That was so funny!! Reiou was holding both of his characters' dolls, and it accidentally kinda looked like they kissed, and the second I thought that - Tasuku thought that as well and said: "what are you doing what are you doing what are you doing?? Oh, that surprised me" LOL. No one reacted to that so he recovered fast haha
I'm proud of myself for staying away from spoilers the whole day. I didn't see a thing, so all my reactions while watching were sincere.
I was on the verge of my seat waiting for stuff to happen. I don't usually react vocally while watching something, but I did gasp out loud at some scenes, giggled at others (very few, but there were some comedic moments, like the whole 'I'm gay - no I'm bi - no I'm gay' scene). I teared up a few times, especially in the couple of times Ruben cried. Richard is a great actor. Talking about great actor - the scene when Ruben caught Mona and Niall talking after his mom's funeral - he was fucking SCARY! I was holding my breath the whole time! (also - he looked really hot with that slicked hair and white shirt). The prison scene of them oversharing was terrific. It was even heartwarming for a moment and I could swear Ruben's eyes looked soft at some point?! But I knew it was a fake feeling and it's all going to blow up in the end because it was obvious that Niall would tell Ruben about Mona and his child and fuck things up.
And even though we all guessed the ending (both of them being dead/killing each other), I wasn't feeling all the feelings I was expecting myself to feel. Idk... maybe because I was actually expecting Ruben to die first? I hated seeing Niall dying like that. I'm actually glad they showed us Ruben's body in a previous ep, otherwise the ending would have felt kinda open. Now I guess I have to assume he was bleeding to death while watching Niall lying there after he killed him. (It's interesting how they filmed the whole scene and made it look like something else was happening, same with the stains on Niall's kilt.)
I'll try to hold onto Ruben's words in his Mom's funeral - saying "I'll see you in the next life, where I'll do everything in my power to make up for this one". As many others have mentioned on their posts - it certainly felt like that could be said about him and Niall as well. So.... hopefully in their next life they're on better terms <3
I hope they'll gift us with many behind the scenes videos and interviews. I need to see them smiling together, and I need more of Richard and Jamie together.
That's funny 'cause I realized Käärijä is the sweetest cinnamon roll and Ruben is horrible but I love them both so maybe it's THE HAIR I'm into after all 💀
(I realized I have an itch when it comes to their bts vids - it's like I must make a gifset the moment a vid is out. The previous vid was out yesterday. Maybe I should wait and then gather a few vids and make a bigger gifset? A thought for the future)
we moved on too fast from this. like its truly INSANE. head kisses for his favourite boy? holding him close by the neck? yeah. hucklerobby truly my ship of all time. so fucking soft, look at them.
The hide and seek scene felt like out of a horror movie. Ruben was SO scary!
The hospital scene was terrific, both of them were so amazing, give them all the awards!
That was funny seeing Niall topping and demanding to be called 'daddy', but... I get why he did that.
I don't usually articulate that bluntly (funny, considering my username, I know), but I just.... really need them to fuck nasty!!! Ruben pinning Niall down (the size difference is killing meeee), lots of grunting and whimpering asdfghjkl. That probably won't happen, but at least I can try and imagine that based on that hospital scene. Richard Gadd on top of Jamie Bell was really something.
At first I freaked out thinking Someya's hands on his stomach were Wada's ^^; , then on a second watch I thought Wada's hand was between Someya's legs ^^;;
Ganbare! Nakamura-kun!! ep8 was the funniest so far. I rarely laugh out loud while watching something, but I did during the whole ep!! It was too good!! Chiaki was superb, every delivery was so peak, my stomach hurts now! OnoKen as well, as a new (pervert) character, was so funny! Both of them together were A+++!
Now I'm in a really good mood (which might change after I watch Half Man ep4, we'll see heh)
You should have seen my face during the last 15 minutes. Can't even find a suitable emoji that fits.
The whole thing felt rushed. Well, obviously, since they gave us 90 minutes instead of a season. But... agh.
No kiss?? Not even a hug? Ridiculous.
No Crowley & Aziraphale's ending. They were not there anymore. Having "their" middle aged human versions meeting and ending up together was nice I guess (Old Man Yaoi for the masses), but it's not really them. It's not. Them. Not the Demon & Angel we know and love. Crowley & Aziraphale are not together. They are gone.
I actually didn't dare having high hopes for this finale, but I didn't think it'd be like that.
The only good things were:
Adorable Jesus
Aziraphale Greenleaf (he looked really nice with that long hair imo)
Muriel's looks in Hell (really hot)
I'm sad. I feel hollow. I feel like maybe the whole thing should have ended with S2.
Since it's not in the book, maybe we can just think about it as fanfic? So we can choose to ignore it if we want, and just... read a different fanfic that we like.
THEY SHOULD HAVE LIVED TOGETHER FOREVER AS CROWLEY & AZIRAPHALE GOD DAMN IT (LITERALLY).
It's pretty fucked up but somehow intriguing and alluring.
How it's started: I was checking the HBO Instagram once in a while for The Pitt content. Stumbled upon teasers for Half Man, watched them, they looked pretty gay. Sniffed around and realized the two MCs were brothers, then realized that they're actually step brothers. Conclusion: brothers, looking gay, has Jamie Bell -> Decided to watch that show 😇
Funny how Jesus in Good Omens is a gay student in Half Man XD (yes, I know the actor himself is queer. Still funny, cos... Jesus.) I hardly watch 'regular' tv shows - aka not anime - so having the same actor in two things I'm currently watching is amusing.
Also, I rarely watch English stuff with subs. I don't need them. But I DO need them for Half Man because their Scottish accent is killing me. I seriously can't understand half of the stuff they're saying!
Anyway, I needed something to fill the void while waiting for The Pitt S3 so Half Man came just in time. Not the same amount of obsession as with The Pitt, but at least something to enjoy in the meantime.
I'm still re-watching The Pitt once in a while, and consuming Hucklerobby fics like air. Can't wait for them to start filming S3 next month! Hopefully they'll release some stuff and feed us while we're all anxiously waiting for January!
I just sat down and watched The Pitt S2 Final with my parents (a rewatch for me, a first for them).
After we finished, I said: "So, jsyk Whitaker's actor said on many interviews that there's nothing romantic between him and Amy, at least not from his side".
My dad: "Nah, there sure is something. And how can he know? He's just an actor, they're writing his script for him"
Me: "NO, there is NOTHING between them I'm telling you"
My dad: *laughing* "You don't want it to ruin it for you, do you?" (they know I like Whitaker)
Me: "Yep, I do not want that."
My mom: " *says my name*, this is just a tv show"
Me: "Yes, but still"
Them: *laughing*
They do not know about me shipping him with Robby of course. I was debating whether telling them that, or that I at least hope they make Whitaker queer, but... I controlled myself ^_^;; All the adrenaline of the moment almost made me confess, but I held it in haha. They do not need to know all of that.
I did feel quite depressed after watching the final for the first time, but then at least four if not more interviews came out where Gerran insisted that Whitaker and Amy's relationship is not romantic, soooo.... that did make me feel a lot better, but who knows what S3 has in store for us so I'll hold my horses for now.
I just remembered when they watched the first season, and after a few eps of Whitaker going through things, at one point when he had a scene, my mom said: "is he gonna kill someone or get something spilled on him?" XD
Today was a live event for VS AMBIVALENZ 2nd Season Final Results Announcement.
I must admit, I wasn't really feeling the 2nd season. And you can tell - my first and only post about it was when they just announced it a year+ ago. Back then I had my favs from each pairing, and those haven't changed until now. I watched all the drama videos, but skipped most of the live broadcasts with the seiyuu. I also wasn't feeling their songs that much.
Long story short - my heart belongs to the 1st season. I hoped to enjoy the 2nd season as well, but it didn't happen. :/
Anyway, the results and my thoughts are below:
I still watched the archive of today's live (after already seeing on Twitter who won). Now I'm glad my heart wasn't fully in this season, because I was disappointed with the results :(
Hiromi was the only fav of mine who has won. My other four favs didn't make it. I really wish Kyouya would have won. His looks were really unique and cool, and he was singing Death Metal! Very unusual. He should have won 100%. I actually couldn't stand Monet, him sleeping 90% of the time and making all of those sleeping sounds... it annoyed me X_X.
You can see the results below.
All the fans in the audience screamed the most when Akashi won and also Hiromi. Hiromi was a fan fav from the very start. I assume Ryohei was probably the only seiyuu who could guess which one of his two characters would win. That was pretty obvious, even tho it looked like a close fight in the end. Ok maybe Shunsuke knew too. For some reason his otaku chara was loved by many (I couldn't get into it at all). The fans in the audience were very shocked by some of those results, I'm not sure why and if those were good or bad gasps. As a whole, I feel like many fans were also disappointed with the final group.
The name of this new group is WeaV:S. Their debut is on 3/9/26.
I'll probably keep watching the drama vids and watch the new MVs, not out of interest but out of routine -__-
The one thing that made me lol while watching this live event, was Shunsuke talking about his characters. I found it weird from the very beginning, how he got to voice such a feminine otaku chara, and on today's event he also said that when he got the parts, his reaction to voicing Ainosuke was: "BOKU???" ("ME???") XD. Today was the first time he appeared on a VSA broadcast. Following his Twitter I noticed that he hardly interacted with this franchise. If I can say it - I feel like he's not really into it, especially not into this specific girly chara - he also mentioned it's hard voicing this kind of chara. Maybe it's pure work for him, nothing more. Unlike Ishibashi Hiiro (Black) who really enjoys everything.
Wow, I wrote a lot about something I don't really care about huh ^^;
Well, they gave us a bts vid as I hoped. But it was too short, 13 seconds!! And I kept screaming at the screen: "YOU NEED TO GET CLOSERRRRR!!!!"
Maybe they'll release more bts vids. I hope. This super short vid was not enough for me 😤.
EDIT: it's funny how translations work: Someya retweeted that and added something, that Grok on Twitter translated as: "That was my first mouth-to-mouth in life" and I was like "what are you talking about, I WISH that was a mouth-to-mouth!!" (aka kiss), but a more logical translator said: "It was my first time getting a lip piercing". Ok, that makes more sense in this context ROFL (always double check the translation I guess~ But hey, maybe Grok was trying to hint at something, or maybe it was just reading my mind haha)
