Azakami Youhei & Ootsuka Takeo are dubbing Heated Rivalry!!!

I saw the news while eating and choked. Then I couldn't stop grinning like a fool XD

You might not believe it - but I've never actually watched Heated Rivalry. Yeah, I know, I know. I feel like I missed the hype and lost the momentum. I also feel like I watched the whole thing through gifsets already. I told myself that if I ever do watch it - it might be for the 'heated' scenes only. I don't really care for the plot \_(ツ)_/ ̄.

But now I kinda wanna watch it in Japanese! These two have done lots of BLCDs (Aji has done TONS and Takeo has done a few as well), but that's a whole different story standing in the recording booth, "kissing" and moaning while looking at those scenes in front of them. That's very different than voicing a BLCD (that is often based on a manga, but moaning and "giving a bj" etc while remembering the specific frames from the manga is way different than doing it while looking at two guys having very n-sfw sex).

I just re-watched Inception after years (probably more than 10 years).

This movie will always be one of the best movies ever, with perfect cast and epic soundtrack.

But I just watched the first ep and... well... "obviously it's not BL" might not be 100% true HAHA. I mean, it's probably not, but it has some suspicious bl undertones, and there's no female character in sight (so far, there is one showing towards the end of the OP so she will probably appear at some point). The MC is intrigued and enchanted by that fragile and sickly feminine guy. I'm intrigued too *_*

An anime adaptation for the webtoon Here U Are was announced today, with Suzuki Ryouta & Inoue Yuuki.

I'm always happy for more BL! I've not read it, but maybe I'll check it out before the anime release.

Yay for Ryouta as MC *-*.

Tbh I'm not very familiar with Inoue. That's cute how he looks like his character XD. I only know that he's friends with seiyuu Muro Genki, who might be a fudanshi? I'm not sure he is, I'm just assuming based on stuff (he has a radio show where he talks about BL, and he sometimes chats with Saka on Twitter, if you're not familiar with Saka - pls (re-)watch Goblin's Cave and enjoy his voice ;D). We hardly get any new photos of him and we go crazy over each new pixelated candid photo (take that damn hat off, we need to see your new Whitaker's haircut!! XD). I find it really amusing how we're all reacting to his (rare) photos. One single photo can produce dozens of posts and theories. That's quite endearing actually 😌 We're all in too deep (and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else).

Summer Anime 2026

I actually had nothing planned for this season, so I just based my choices on the seiyuu cast. Hopefully I'll enjoy my choices:

Black Torch - Suzuki Ryouta as MC, looks and sounds hot, so that's a yes from me (even tho it has too many female characters for my liking, but hopefully I'll tolerate it enough to enjoy it).

Iwamoto-senpai no Suisen - I'm not big on historical/military anime, but the poster reminded me a bit of Thanatos no Futago so I checked the page, and obviously it's not BL but hey - Ban Taito is the MC so yep, I'm gonna try this one.

Dogulwang - Speaking of Ban Taito, this anime gave me Solo Leveling vibes, but Hosoyan is the MC here. I'll check it out.

Perfect Addiction - BL, Aji x Soma. It has a BLCD as well, I just haven't checked it or the manga out yet.

I've been there since the very beginning (funny looking back on my first posts 7 years ago, saying stuff like: "I really hope I’ll enjoy this anime! I don’t want to give up on something with both Yukke & Makonyan as the main characters". Well, I did not give up).

I really enjoyed this anime!!! <3

The finale made me weep, and then having Ohayo Sekai (Good Morning World) during the credits! The very first OP! I was CRYING!! 😭

More Chiaki in Venice! 🎭 [previous post]

I had a bad day and needed a distraction, so I decided to sit down and watch Masters of the Universe (the 2026 movie).

When I was little I had a video tape of He-Man and She-Ra (I think it was The Secret of the Sword), I re-watched it many many times back then.

I mainly wanted to watch the new movie for the nostalgic vibes, and also because I thought I'd ship He-Man and Skeletor. Welp, that didn't really happen. Odd, I know. I just didn't really feel it (or maybe because I knew Skeletor was Jared Leto and it kinda ruined it for me -_-).

Anyway, it was an ok movie, a nice distraction, just what I needed. I liked Nicholas as Adam, he was funny and looked awesome.

I loved his green pussy! I mean - his tiger ;D

I also enjoyed the little playful moments like Fisto (who fists people) telling Ram Man to 'give them head' XD

I loved that they used the meme song in the movie! That was hilarious! Talking about the meme - I loved that Nicholas recreated it. In the Japanese dub - Suzuki Ryouta dubbed Adam, and he too (along with Takeuchi Shunsuke, who was probably the mastermind behind it) kinda recreated it as well ^__^ That was great. Talking about the Japanese dub, interesting that they're not using the same seiyuu for a specific actor. Nicholas' character in Red, White & Royal Blue was dubbed by Masuyama Takeaki. (I just checked and apparently in every movie of his there was a different seiyuu for him. Interesting. Maybe it depends on the genre... because there's no doubt that Ryouta is perfect for He-Man).

(And it was a great surprise seeing Orko in the end there!! I almost forgot I loved him a lot when I was younger XD)

I'm not one to change icons often. On the contrary - I rarely change it. I think I've had my Waccha icon for years. But I've thought about changing it for some time now (never did before because I thought people associated me with this icon, and I didn't want to confuse them). But those new photos of Chiaki in Venice basically did it for me - since it's two of my most favorite things - I felt like I had to use that photo. I love the colors in it, the shadow on half of his face, he somehow looks more mature. And of course that I love the tiny glimpse of Venice in the background. Anyway, yep, hi new icon.

I've also thought about updating my banner, which is also Chiaki, but he's such a bb there, remember when we used to see his forehead?? I haven't decided yet if I want to do something about it or not. We'll see.
