This week we are back and starting off 2015 with a firm Yes! to living and awesome life. Artec DJ/Produce sent in this video with his Remix track of SISTER, and it is killer. It's also a sort of look back, and a chance for us to be nostalgic about our own 2014 year. Check out the playlist, and hopefully it gives you something to jam to this weekend!

This weekend’s playlist fell right into my lap. When Sam Smith joined up with ASAP, David Guetta, and other stellar tracks are falling from the sky, it’s easy to put them together, hit play and move onto something awesome. I’m really excited about Lido’s remix, and the first 16 mins of Addal’s track. For me, this weekend is going to be a lot of hard work, but it’s going to pay off. I hope it’s awesome for you. Here's your very own weekend playlist. Shemce puts up a classic track and knocks it out of the park with a house flip Ben E. King’s 1962 classic, “Stand By Me” that he sent to TGiFjams. Yes! Robin Schulz's remix of Waves is here in honor of my lady finding a message in a bottle floating in the Caribbean. Everything else is to help keep your energy high through the weekend. A big happy birthday shout out to Carter Thomas - TGIF founder and all around great person.

Yes! #tgifjams This is a real mix tape for you. Some fresh stuff and some jams that I'll always like. Bronze Radio return put on a great concert in Maine a year ago this month, and it was a blast. Hoodie Allen, the famous rap instructor for Jake and Amir, and notorious adult adolescent. A little Mariah Carey, who songs were being cranked in a coffee shop the other day, and had everyone feeling good. Iggy's new jam, whose music video is at the same time hilarious and bad ass. Enjoy!

This is a great track, entitled Monsters, by the Double Kings. Ryan, the singer is from Maine, and great guy. Maybe this track will get you in the mood for Halloween. Me? I'm feeling nostalgic for the east coast, and the perfection that is October in New England. Hope you enjoy!

I came across a revealing video of the moment that Deadmau5 came across Chris James' vocals on his track for "The Veldt". Check out the video post I included this week. Needless to say he loved it (this was way back in 2012), but I finally got around to reading the short story that the song is based on, so I thought I would throw it up on this week's playlist.
