MAGIC SEALS
Today I start with this funny animated gif to illustrate what I’m going to explain.
Movements and seals(We will further discuss about the issue of movements, for now I use this as a pretext to speak about seals deriving from active sphygmic, or movements, as we will see later). Briefly I say that movements have always been considered very important in magic also because they perform the power of the Being to be lavished on the creation.
Every movement and gesture should be repeatedly tried out until the connection with the state it has to produce clearly appears as soon as the gesture is done. How arise gestures and movements? They derive from the sphygmic on the move creating the seal and the figure. If I move from one point and I create a certain movement using magic, I generate a particular linear drawing or I don’t. I can get the same outcome through movement and consequently through active sphygmic. There also exists the passive sphygmic which is only the image of things how they appear at the projection of a light beam.

Here we note how to create a pentagram using fingers. In the early days seals had been created the same way. Later kabalistic magic squares, or Kamea or the Tziruph tables became customary, but everything originates from the projection of light on something physical obstructing the light and spreading itself as darkness/shadow.
Obstructing light from standing out through an opaque body and consequently emerging the need of bypassing it and drawing through the projection of the form, constitutes the principle of CREATION from the mental world to the astral one. This is valid either for pure magic or for the creation of all things..
The fall of the luminous beam spreading in an ideal ether will always generate a ghostly form ( namely the shadow of IDEAS which are the LIGHT!) This is what Giordano Bruno in his “DE UMBRIS IDEARUM” referred to.
It all starts from the gnomon, a stake put on the ground and used for marking time along the sun cycle. Every seal is nothing more than the projection of the sunlight upon the Earth interposed by an opaque object . But as we see later this only a part of it.
THE SYMBOL OF THE SEALING OR EARTHING ( PETRIFICATION ) OF DISEMBODIED ENERGIES
If we substitute the sunlight with the light of conscience illuminating the mind and meeting there the inner formations, we can see the genesis of IDEAS. From those ideas originate all seals and figures. Let’s see now what the mental residents are. They are the so-called spirits, angels, demons and so on. In other words the inhabitants of our conscience also are the inhabitants of the creation due to the absolute consistency with the WHOLE THING.
Hence the need of the purification of the mind otherwise the energizing of the conscience, either by ritual methods or other means, will only radiate lightning waves which meet impure mental formations and these will reveal themselves in physical form or in life. Kremmerz called them SIMILAR NATURE. This is not exempted from the fact that they attract creatures wandering in the astral dimension and all subsequent problems deriving from it. SIMILAR because they are human - like mental cancerous agglutinations . Other scholars called them “Angel of the Western Window”, “Vulgar gold” or “Satan” and so on. The reverse is called “Guardian Angel”, “Divine Genius” or “Angel of the Eastern Window”.
It is possibile to get seals either by Light or by Darkness. Practically it is possible to project the sunlight upon an opaque body and drawing its shadow on a surface, this is what all do. Otherwise it is possible to cut out of stone, wood and nowadays also out of cardboard those signs you want to get drawn from Light into the Darkness.
