Out of context, Hannibal lying to Will about his shitty clock drawings is the funniest thing ever. Like imagine asking someone to draw something for you and they hand the drawing to you with utter confidence that it looks great. And then you look at it and it's the worst drawing you've ever seen, but you can't laugh or say anything. You just have to nod along and be like "looks great" while they smile proudly at you like a dog expecting a treat. Experiences both Hannibal Lecter and the average parent has gone through.
