What do you guys think? Are the ribbons even necessary? Seems a little silly to me.

So, you go ahead and call out a submitter for calling out another submitter over some issues with cheerleading involving training just like dance, and you say "call out the submitter". But don't you APPROVE the submissions? Meaning you can choose not to post something that is untrue? I mean, you take the time to reply to submission, so I think you have control over them. Take responsibility for what you post!

i saw a picture in your blog saying: cheerleaders annoy me because they think what they do is hard. WHAT THE HELL???? u think ist all easy and its not a training?what dancer u are if u think that any kind of dancing isn't hard. it pissed me so off!! if u dont know what cheerleading eaven is, then dont say things like that, go to youtube,watch the videos of cheerleading champions and show me how good u are at it, and i want to see ur face after a cheerleader workout.

My computer won't let me log in but my username is leahnmiller: I am in 8th grade and I really want to try out for the dance team at the high school. one problem. Im not all the way down in my splits! I try soooooo hard and i am very close! any tips to get me all the way down to the ground?

Stretch twice a day if you can, hold the stretches for longer, make sure your pelvis and hips are straight, and if you're close then move onto practicing your oversplit, then you'll be flat in no time!

Are there any really good ankle strengthening exercises you know of? I'd like to be able to do pointe but my ankles are weak and I was wondering if you could help me.

I love the documentary Ballerina and I will be cliche and say Black Swan, but I truly loved it.

So for the past couple months I've had a really tight hamstring and I have no idea what caused it. I used to be really flexible but now I get sharp pains everytime I stretch my leg. Do you have any suggestions on how to make it better??

You may have overstretched it or pulled it. The best thing for it is so ice it and rest it with some very light stretching. It'll eventually start to slowly stretch back out. I've done this several times before too. Make sure your very warmed up before stretching and don't overstretch.

Yoga for the Splits

Print this out and practice these poses everyday to gain flexibility for the splits. Start by holding each pose for 30 seconds on each side. Work your way up to 1-3 minutes as your muscles start to open up. When you’re ready to try the splits use a block or pillow under your front leg for support until you feel ready to go without.

i started dancing, when i was three, but i stopped when i was ten, i started dancing again when i was thirteen, i am now fourteen, do you think its possible that i'll get my flexibility back? i've been trying my hardest but i'm never getting as flexible as i used to be :/ sorry if its a weird question.. :)

Of course. It took me only a couple months to go from stiff as a board to almost in my splits.
