My family and I were living a beautiful and quiet life.
We owned a very large and beautiful house, and my father owned a perfume company that was one of the largest companies in Gaza. Suddenly, the war broke out. At first, we stayed in our house and did not leave, but after the bombing intensified in northern Gaza, we decided to move to the south. After a short period, we received the news that our company had been bombed.
This news was a shock to us, as we lost our livelihood and all our money. After a short period, we received the news that our house had been burned and destroyed.
Here, my family and I lost everything, and we had nothing left. We moved from tent to tent to preserve our lives. We suffered a lot and a lot. We are a family of 6 people, my father, my mother, me, my brother and two sisters. We were living a beautiful life in peace. I was on the verge of high school and preparing myself to study medicine. This has been my dream since childhood. Suddenly, the war happened. At first, we stayed in our house and did not leave. After the bombing intensified, we decided to move to southern Gaza. From here, the great suffering began. We started moving around southern Gaza until we finally settled in a small tent. We began to suffer from severe diseases due to the spread of epidemics, the polluted water we drink, and the unhealthy food. In short, our lives became like hell. Then we received the news of the burning of our house and the burning of all of my father’s exhibitions. We lost our entire source of livelihood, so we had nothing left. Here is a picture of my friend Fidaa’s baby girl, Sila. Sila and her baby brother Muhammed are currently stuck in a situation so horrible that words struggle to describe it.
Fidaa, (@fidaa-family2) the mother of these beautiful children, is a 29-year-old woman from Gaza who, during the war, was separated from her entire family and is currently being forced to take care of her two children, completely alone.
Her children are both sick from the cold and the encroaching spread of diseases, and they are all in pain. She has been displaced with her children many, many times, each time having to dip into her precious evacuation funds to buy transportation.
Every time she is displaced, she is forced to buy a new tent, which as we know costs $1,500…
This makes her evacuation funds absolutely instrumental for her and her two small children’s survival, two children who I will now remind you are sick, hurting, and starving in a situation that nobody could have ever predicted.
These conditions are absolutely catastrophic. They are apocalyptic. No child, no mother, no person should ever have to go through this.

You can help by donating and sharing so that Fidaa is not forced to struggle any longer. All she hopes for is to get enough money to evacuate to Cairo so that she no longer is forced to rely on the black market for things as simple as food.
