A few things I guess would include me and my girlfriend splitting up, but we ended on good terms. Turns out we're both aroace and didn't know how to properly express our feelings. Sorry abt the radio silence on and off again guys, its the same old story tbh, life stuff like fulltime job, just moved again (30 min away but still woof), etc
I havent stopped thinking abt you guys for a minute i stg lol - i keep wanting to come back and post and whatnot, but the fics i promised (and am still in the trenches fighting to finish) have rlly been the big bog down of this blog for me
So i felt like anytime i had to write, i would try to spend writing the fic(s) but that meant no asks getting answered or posted 🫠💔
Ill instead take the pressure off myself to get those done, and simply chip away at it as i please, and focus on asks instead
I think the next big step ive been thinking about for a few months now and decided to go ahead with is clearing my inbox out some!

Also, my ao3 works are now locked down, due to recent AI scrapping, both personally thats been done to one of my works by a rando guest, and that general sweep that happened to ao3 recently.
I believe 4, maybe 5 out of my 6 works were taken.
They are still readable, but you have to be a registered user first, and I think I will be continuing that for my future works, as unfortunate as it is, because i generally like my writing to be accessible. But these idiots are making Ai wanna write stories instead of solve our math problems or clean our streets or something more useful, so here we are.
Really wish I could do something similar for tumblr, but i guess we cant have an ethical peaceful society everywhere...

Shocking I know, but yall haven't heard from me bc I've been having a busy year.
TLDR: Moved out of homestate year after graduating college, working paycheck to paycheck now, while taking online class (still taking, ill be done mid january), got hit by Hurricane Helene like 6 months? After moving here, and have been recovering from that while also maintaining job/class.
(It was like Katrina but for this area, bc they were unprepared for hurricanes here)
Have had No time yo work on my hobbies really, and if anyone remembers by now, ive been working on a followup fic for the eldritch reader sagau one shot from,, last year? Idk anymore, point is!
I wanted yo write it all out then make just post the chapters one after another so u guys wouldn't be waiting months on next update (like my Players Possessions fic rn 😔)
But, ive barely had any time to myself, and I usually have been filling it with my class or living my life, or other hobbies, so on top of busy life I've been unmotivated bc I've had to force myself to make time and write it out
(I'm deadass fighting for my life against my fic writing style, which i guess is pretty long winded, so the word count is like,, tied me to a car and is dragging me tf out lol)
So im still working on that fic, so that way I can post all at once,
I also feel very bad for you guys who've left asks and im very slow, so they're pretty old now and I felt bad answering them so long after you asked :/
Ill probably still be posting them eventually, but just wanted to let you guys know im alive and very sorry about not doing your asks for forever (years atp??) /gen

As ive said a lot in older posts, i got my first full time job and then ive got a class to keep up with outside of it to get certified, so that leaves me with little free time to take care of myself/my house, and even littler time to play genshin/write/do my hobbies 🙃

Ive just kinda wandered into the territory as im still finishing Fontaine archon quests
(The adhd kicks in HARD in genshin and all these world quests like in Sumeru/Fontaine literally derail any other thought i have other than "Another Funny Little Plot Side Quest?? Oh that sound Neat" and im off track from the main plot all over again...)
Oh, and happy autumn/beginning of fall for all u freaks out there getting pumpkin spice lattes already 💀 /lh
With a puzzled squint, you could see the adeptus was running over what you said in his mind, trying to parse out the meaning. Xiao then threw his head up out of his slight bow, almost glaring at you, “There is no task nor person more important than guarding you, my Lord. I will stand guard, worry not about my state.”
Nodding to you, he abruptly turned on his heel to shift to the side of the entrance to the mansion, his spear tall and ready. You’d have twitched a smile at him if you could, as you're sure he’s gotten a little more comfortable with you than when you first officially met. You’re also sure from meeting Zhongli just once in person that he’d have a small heart attack if he saw some of Xiao’s informal behavior.
But you’re glad he hasn’t, the more relaxed they are, especially considering your form, the better.
You duck inside, though the ceilings are so raised that you don’t have to go that low surprisingly. Huh, it was nice to be anticipated in a building usually sized for human heights. Wow. You’ve really reached the point of casually calling yourself inhuman.
…well, to be real with yourself right now, it might actually help to get more accustomed to that in case you’re never human again.
You also put that possibility back into the vault at the back of your mind.

I had a big life update what with my sib graduating grad school (getting their masters degree) at the same time we both moved like 2 states over from our home state 😅
and unfortunately, i wasnt able to get my monster of a sequel out in time to post it remotely to get it out to you guys while i was afk
(as i havent had wifi/free time consistently in like 2-3 weeks)
which, phew, im finally able to be settled in one place enough to write again, and have enough time in the day to not be dealing wiht my apartment to write ToT
i hope you guys arent too mad at me! (or have forgotten me?? sobs)

i hear Natlan's coming out. 👀
I don't think it'll be out before i post the full (3 chapters total planned) sequel, but just in case, disclaimer-
