This morning, after yesterday's round of anon hate to members, I opened a side blog for open discussion with the anon in the hopes that we could come to a peaceful resolution.

This, despite my co-mod at the CE HBC receiving an anon that informed her once again that this was all her fault and wishing sexual violence upon her.

This, despite the near-constant barrage of anons several of us have suffered - which caused us to seek police intervention.

This, despite repeated entreaties to @staff to help us, and reporting anon messages, all of which have gone ignored by email and on twitter.

And despite providing this open channel for communication, another member received these two anon messages instead:

So to this I say:

I am not anyone's boss. I never said I was.

I started a blog with three other friends to talk about Sebastian Stan's characters, to write prompts and to have fun. This is not a business and no one is writing for me. The first person you should write for is yourself.

What I reblog on my personal blog is my business and mine alone.

On this blog, I answered asks with the amazing work the writers provided. I compiled masterlists of the work they published. I posted challenges and theme days and tried above all to have fun. I cherish the time spent with the HBC.

I do apologize to the person or persons that I harmed. I apologize if it seemed that I was showing favoritism in any way. Please believe me that this has never been my intention.

Please consider this my formal announcement that I will be stepping down as mod of the Sebastian Stan Horniest Book Club.

If that is what it will take for you to stop wishing my friends harm, then that is what I will do. Consider this my resignation and my apology.

This blog will change hands, preparations are under way.

I thank you all so much for the love and support you have shown me, but most importantly for what you have given to each other.

I'm addressing a few things brought up in anon asks and other posts today:

This is from the pinned post at @the-ss-horniest-book-club and it applies to @the-ce-horniest-book-club @the-th-horniest-book-club and @the-marvel-horniest-book-club as well.

Whether you write for every character or one, for every blog or none - reader, writer, lurker, whatever - no one has the right to tell you who to follow, who to reblog, who to write for, which characters to write or to attempt any form of control over your blog.

The new Redhead Wine & Literature Club (@redhead-wine-and-literature-club) is not affliated with HBC - the mods are our friends and some of us participate in challenges run by both groups, but it is a different blog entirely. It has been stated by someone that the group is exclusionary because of the word redheads in the title - the mods simply have two redheaded women as face claims for their "characters". The blog is open to all.

In order to address the other accusations brought to my attention, I have created a blog for open discussion.

So I just want to say that after the attacks that's happened today to Charlotte, Colbie and anyone else. My dad is a cop, and I've talked to him about all of this and showed him my messages from yesterday.
