”Ja, it was not a really nice round today.

But in the end I’m happy that we’re both very healthy in the finnish - fischerRocana looks very well, that’s the most important thing.

Ja, sometimes it changed, it’s cross-country, you’re not always very sure how is the feeling of the horse in the start. She was not very happy with the weather I think. That makes her a bit tired in the end. Also, the ground was a bit slippy.

But, important is that you know the horse and the horse knows the rider, that you have a really good partenership and then you can fight together in the end, and that’s unbelievable feeling.” (x)

Michael Jung, I have never seen him have such a sketchy round. There were 44 efforts, and easily 25 percent of them it could have gone wrong. Roxie is just wonderful.

I can’t explain it. He just did not have a good day, and he said as much in the post-ride interview. I love that about him; he’s very matter-of-fact about, “My horse really saved me,” or, “Well, it was just not our day, and we got it done, and I’m happy for her. She’s a wonderful horse.” That’s all true. (x)
