Sky shrugged a shoulder coyly. Suddenly she felt a bit flustered. “It can be a date,” she said, hoping her voice sounded confident.

Sky bit back a smile and looked down at her shoes, “That would be nice,” she nodded and looked back up at Milo. “I definitely wouldn’t protest to that.”

“Alright, it’s a date.” Milo smiled before realizing what he said. “I mean, not a date, if you don’t want it to be. It can just be two friends or something... just eating... Food.”

“If I took it then I’d end up sharing it with my brothers which would lead to two more Weatherbees harassing you for food,” she joked. Sky smiled brightly at Milo’s admission and she reached out to gently squeeze his arm. “I think that’s really awesome, Milo.” She told him, her voice coming out soft.  “And you’re right, you’re definitely good at it judging by what I just ate,” she nodded her heads towards the Tupperware. “Which, by the way, if you ever want me to taste something again, I’m totally game.”

“That’s true, I’m not quite ready to share my cooking prowess with the world.” Milo laughed and his face softened. “I’ll definitely have more for you to taste. Maybe someday I can make you a whole meal.”

“I love it,” she told him sincerely before taking another bite. “You should actually take it back before I like, devour it all,” Sky laughed a bit and handed the Tupperware back to Milo. “Do you cook everything this well?”

Milo took back the container. “It’s really fine. I’ve got more at home. You can take this if you want it.” He shrugged his shoulders a bit. “It’s just something I do for fun really.” He made it seem like no big deal. “Actually fuck that, I’m really passionate about cooking and I’m good at it too.”

“Was kinda hoping it’d be another ring pop,” Sky smacked her lips and reached for the Tupperware.  Taking a bite of the food, Sky’s eyes widened after a few chews. “Wow, I take back the ring pop thing, Milo. This is definitely tastier,” she nodded.

“Do you really like it?” Milo’s eyes went wide with excitement. “I’ve been trying to perfect it for awhile. It’s lentil chili.”

“Just trust me, I swear it tastes good.” Milo handed over the tupperware container. “I just want your opinion.”

“Haunted houses open in a couple days,” Penelope said, clasping her hands together. “Are we going to go to one?”

“Probably not.” Milo shrugged. “I mean I have to work and, my mom needs help around the house and stuff. Plus, I am more of a cornmaze guy.”

“Well, as long as you’re that confident, we won’t have a problem.” Kate replied. “Are you implying that there was a relationship between a human man and a deer? I think you need to reevaluate how you watch movies, my guy. Besides, Rapunzel is my favorite you’re going to love it. Trust me, Disney guy or not.”

“I am.” Milo smiled. “I’m not implying anything it was pretty obvious.” He raised an eyebrow, smile still plastered on his lips. “Alright I’m taking your word for it. But I need more incentive than it just being your favorite. What if I hate it and I wasted almost two hours of my life?”

“Don’t you wanna be able to walk across the stage in May? You should probably do the homework if you do. I’ll even help you!” Kate offered, before throwing popcorn over at Milo. “No, that’s Frozen. And I don’t remember Sven having any homosexual undertones if that’s to whom you’re referring to, weirdo. Tangled is about Rapunzel and Flynn Rider.”

“I will. The teachers are pretty done with me, so I’ll squeak by. Which is good enough for me at this point.” Milo uttered with a shrug. “You really didn’t see that? Him and the furry blonde guy?” He raised a brow. “I watched it with my sister and I could’ve sworn. But I’ve never seen a Rapunzel movie. I’m not super into Disney though, so that might be why.”

“Honestly, why bother with homework when you can just watch Tangled? And by why bother I mean that I already finished it and I hope you did too cause I really, really wanna watch Tangled without thinking of school.”

“I don’t think I had any homework.” Milo stopped to think for a moment. “Well even if I did.” He shrugged a bit. “but I’m not going to lie to you Kate, I’ve never seen Tangled. Is that the one with the sisters and the gay reindeer?”

@instamilo: Last night I made a slight attempt at figuring out a ‘disney day’ outfit but gave up. Much to my surprise, my sister had already picked one out for me. So I got back to my room this morning after my shower and found this get up. Seeing as how it’s pretty close to a normal Milo day outfit, I gave in. #CARLFREDRICKSEN
