Hello again!

It’s been a while since I last posted anything I wrote here, haha. How’s everyone? If you read this, I hope you’re safe. 

I started an internship a while ago and life is a mess at college, specially now with covid-19 (please, stay home if you can, if you can’t, take care!!! please!), my college decided to not stop so we’re having online classes, which are the worst, really! Also, my internship is more like home office now too. But... 

I’m finally about to get everything done and on a schedualle. 

Since I’ve seen that there are still many people reading “Continuum”(you may not comment, but I see your like), if click here you can read too, I decided to tell you all that I’m rewriting it, instead of just posting it when I’m finished. 

I was trying to dedicate time to my other stories too, but since this one was the very beggining of it all, I decided to not work on the others right now (but I do intend to, and so many new ideas). Also, I won’t delete the first version, since I’m just trying to make it better. I has lots of errors and looking at it now, it was childish, but I’m proud of it. 

I hope that there are still people following me and paying attention. Please, if you have any suggestion, or if you just want to talk about the universe and who knows what else, feel free to chat me! I’m also recluded for more than a month!

I have to rant...

I got back to my hotel last night to receive the amazing news that Chen is marrying the woman of his dreams and he is a father to be. It’s amazing. Truly amazing. He found love and there is to be a little bundle of joy to come from it, but...

There are Exo-Ls that are telling Chen that he needs to “leave the group” and going on to say that they “spent so much money on him and this is how he repaid them.”

One, an idol’s personal life is none of our business and we have no right to know what goes on in it, but Chen opened himself up to let his fans, that he loves so dearly, know that he was taking the next big step him his life. We are not here to be upset or judge, we are here to support and love him unconditionally no matter of his relationship status.

Two, we do not own our idols. We are simply here to support them. Just because we watch them grow from day one up, does not mean we get to determine what their personal life entails. They all fall in love, they all have significant others, they’re human. Just. Like. Us. We fall in love so, why can’t they?

Three, this is a happy moment in his life. Why do some of us feel the need to lash out and tell this idol, who was worried and nervous to come out with his personal life, to leave his beloved group/family? That’s not right. It’s kind of like if our parents disapproved of our choosing for a partner—it hurts. It hurts to have someone you love so much, disapprove of your life.

Four, spending money on an idol doesn’t not make them love you more. Sure it shows that you love them and they love that you do, but saying that you “spent so much money on him” makes you look so shallow. Is he watching to see what person spends the most money so he can find them and marry them? No, you know why? Because regardless of the money you spend on his albums or merch, he is going to love all of us equally—he doesn’t have to love us at all, but he does.

Finally five, we all have dreams of marrying our biases/idols. We all fantasize about one day meeting them and charming our way into their hearts, but as I said—we have DREAMS. Most of us won’t ever meet them and we’ll admire them from afar. For the people who do get to meet them for a brief period of time, they’ll be grateful that they got to meet you, but at the end of the day, it’s their job.

I hope that the Exo-Ls that are heartbroken over the news can come to accept Chen’s wonderful news of starting a family. He deserves everything because he’s always given everything to us.
