I always love the K-Choreo Tower Cam videos. They really allow you to appreciate everything a group is a doing on the stage for a performance.

"Turn it off" might be my favorite song and stage so far this year. It's been stuck in my head since I first heard it and I really love the frenetically cute choreography along with great outfit choices.

This is their first comeback after Seowon, Winnie and Jiho finished with Boy's Planet, so hopefully there are a lot of eyes on this underappreciated group.

I'm also hoping for crossover challenge videos with INFINITE who they covered at a music festival recently.

New Emotions - INFINITE

It's so nice seeing Infinite promoting again. Super talented and underappreciated for so long, they've finally left Woollim and are controlling their own destinies.

Infinite are always a treat live, with confidence in their vocals that is getting less and less common in the industry.

The song really suits Infinite. Catchy and listenable. Elegantly powerful vocals. Bouncy and playful rap. Graceful dance with lots of synchronized body lines. They've always played to their strengths and resisted chasing style trends that might not suit them, possibly to their detriment.

I'm looking forward to watching the promotion for this album. They're very goofy guys and the TikToks with younger groups should be a lot of fun. Also, with live singing, it's worth watching all their music show performances.

I really hope their independence revitalizes them. It's been too long between albums!

I've been slowly watching Boys Planet and I was super impressed by this stage, probably the best performance I've watched so far.

Sometimes the stages can feel a little stiff on these elimination shows where they throw groups together and give them a week to practice, but this one came off feeling fresh and fun. Even established groups sometimes don't show this chemistry on stage.

Three of them are really young and just so obviously natural performers. It's really fun to see and the kind of transcendent performance you're hoping to see on shows filled with so much talent.

DRIPPIN's ZERO Performance Video

This popped up in my YouTube recs again and it's still one of the coolest things they've ever done.

The rooftop location is so breathtaking, the outfits are sick and I've always loved the choreography for this song.

Nice closeups capturing the great facial expressions too.

The transition at the midpoint really takes this over the top.

Stunningly beautiful song and video. The stage choreography is wonderful as well. Great solo release showing off amazing vocals. Reminds me of music off of Swanlights by Antony and The Johnsons.

Another song with a non-stop energy. It feels like it keeps building and building. I love the unexpected chord progression in the intro too. The video is sort of clunky in a way I love. At 10 years old it wasn't as refined and, perhaps, formulaic, as most music videos are today.

Super cute girl group dance cover medley by MIRAE. I'm a big fan of theirs I think they're great entertainers. Great dancing to great music, and I loved all the different outfits they go through.

I am a big Produce101/X1 fan so I'm always happy to see the guys in different groups interacting. I'm not a huge Cravity fan, but Minhee is great and I'm glad to see he's been really taking off!

DRIPPIN - The One

Let's get this out of the way, Drippin is my favorite k-pop group at the moment, so I have been waiting on this release for the past few months.

The song was worth the wait. The exact kind of music I look to k-pop for. Upbeat, catchy, relentlessly danceable.

The song is interesting the whole way through, with aggressive percussion, soaring vocals, and a great nu-metal bassline that appears out of nowhere in the middle.

The video is an entertaining culmination of the Villain storyline. I loved how everyone uses their powers to help out Blue Junho during the well-done fight scene that could have easily been clunky and embarrassing if not done well.

The choreo seems pretty good, maybe not the most interesting Drippin has done, but it's always hard to judge when it's chopped up throughout the video. I'm looking forward to watching the stages.

Looking at the album, I was very impressed the whole way through. I had been disappointed with albums from my other favorite groups (DKZ and Mirae) this cycle, but The End delivers from start to finish.

I might do a post for the album, but it should be noted that despite hitting a variety of genres, it feels cohesive the whole way through. Favorite non-title tracks are Silence and Escape, but I enjoy them all and I'm happy as a non-skipper.

Drippin really delivered a great album here and I'm looking forward to watching them during this era of promotion. I think they're putting out the highest quality and most enjoyable music for my taste, and I hope that this album is their big breakout!
