All y'all better be reblogging this
Just about a week ago, on Monday, July 27th, a very destructive EF3 tornado formed in my hometown of Appleton WI. It was approximately 1 mile wide, and traveled 12.5 miles down into Lake Winnebago which sits at the south of Appleton. The yellow is the path it took, and I am the green dot, so fortunately my place was not in its path and at the time, I was 20 miles away at work in Green Bay, WI.
The most destruction happened to Menasha/Neenah which also sit just south of Appleton. I've grown up in this area, and I have lived in all 3 places. Its been hard to accept that a lot of those neighborhoods are now gone.
In between my normal job, I've taken time to help volunteer and work with local groups who are now assisting people who have literally lost everything.
Its been exhausting, a little overwhelming, but we will get through this, and our community with come back 100x stronger.

Police constantly use lethal force over a misdemeanor. Racism is their judge and jury.
