So much of black and white,

I wish for tint of grey.

So much of darkness and light,

I wish for a better way.

So much of ifs and buts,

I wish for lesser confusion.

So much of courage and guts,

I wish for more determination

So much of imaginations,

I wish for some solitude .

So much of unknown relations,

I wish for the feeling of gratitude.

So much of attachment,

I wish I could share.

So much of detachment,

I wish it wasn’t a nightmare.

So much to say,

I wish I could express.

So much of dismay,

I wish I could confess.

So much of good vibes,

I wish I could feel.

So much of the part of our lives,

I wish it isn’t reel .

Blue

You can find me lost,

Mind wandering in some meadows

It was strange at first,

Searching for solace outside the windows.

I could gaze at the clouds,

Without any botheration of time

As if they summed up my moods,

And reverted with a feeling sublime.

I imagined all I could,

Without any blinking of eyes

All the shapes; a bird, a sea or a wood,

Gave me happiness in disguise.

Of all the colours I saw,

Blue remained a constant

Never did I find any flaw,

Making me fall for the hue at every instant.

How much I want to go for a ride

And how I can’t contain my happiness when a trip finally takes place

How interestingly u understand my every bark

How you console me when there is a thunderstorm

And how you sit there for hours until I feel good

How fortunate I’m to have a family like you

And how it was just a matter of fate that I came to your house

A soul story

Have you ever come across a person and thought, We are so alike? You bond with them so instantly that it feels like you have known them from time immemorable. Love can be found in many forms. This is one of them.

Being a sensitive and strong person at same time is a dangerous equation. You get confused what to feel and how to react. Feeling angry at a time and wanting to cry simultaneously is a strange contradiction. When you tell yourself that you don’t care about anyone but secretly having a soft corner for them. When you say that you aren’t scared to lose anyone but secretly wanting to hold on to them forever. Love is a weird feeling. It pulls you so close at a point that you want to stay their forever. But what is a life without any twists. How can you not expect a push? Funny isn’t it? Its just like a door. When someone holds it for you, you feel good. But at some time it needs to be closed too. There you feel the difference. The feeling of something drifting away from you.

We should actually learn to prioritize. We have a million thoughts rushing inside our mind. But when it actually comes to doing, we almost fail. That is the power of love. When you are annoyed with someone, you make up your mind not to call them or drop them a message. But you just forget that and take the next step of reminding them of your presence. Do they really care? Maybe not! People talk to you when they have their free time. Not when you want them. See, how easy prioritization sounds? Well, that is the difference between you and you and you. Do not expect the world to be like you. Everyone is like a novel. Every page is completely different. Different in terms of emotions, feelings, habits, attitude and the list is endless.

Writing your own story is not a difficult task. It maybe time taking, it may have a lots of mistakes in it. It may take you a whole life to write. But one day, you surely will.

Walking slow

Time. That is the only thing which cannot wait. But your wishes can wait. Your ambition can wait. They can wait for the right time.

Some people achieve easily. Some cannot. And there is nothing to feel sad about it. Life is unfair. Of course it is. When your five fingers are not same, how could you expect your achievements to be same with others. Everyone is different. So are you. We end up comparing our happiness with others. Their form of happiness can never be same as yours. You can get happiness with a small thing whereas someone cannot.

These things gradually disappoint us.. We start thinking where we lack, why we lack. Maybe the other person is a smart learner, you never know. Only thing we can do is work hard. Not thinking hard why something didn’t happen.

We need to complaint less about life. Some things in your life come slow. You need to be vulnerable to failure first just to enjoy that genuine and real moment of happiness. When it’s your day, you will know. You can feel that aura. Maybe you aren’t on the right road to reach your destination. Try to find a new way. Even if you get lost, remember that is temporary. One day you will get the right one after trying many. Not everything is your cup of tea. What is it’s a cup of coffee? Why do you think you can do what others do. Maybe God doesn’t want you that way, doing some mainstream thing. You are meant to do higher things in life. That will take a lot of time, but patience will keep you alive.

Trapped

Aren’t we all trapped? Trapped in those endless thoughts we go through everyday. The regular mix of smiles tears and each element that makes us complete. Trying to move ahead but there is something that holds me back. Some undefined relationships.  Some inexpressible feelings. Some words my mind wanted to utter, but my lips decided to remain sealed.

I wish I had answer to my questions. That constant sense of disturbance i go through is unacceptable. It grows difficult for me to keep quiet. Some relationships may permanently end if I uttered what i felt. I wish everything went as smooth as it felt at the beginning. All beginnings are beautiful until you reach a point when there is no returning back.  A point where you just feel numb. That feeling of getting trapped.

The things which i apprehended were coming true. The person i thought was meant forever was drifting away unknowingly. I wish some people understood. I wish they understood those unspoken words. I wish they could read my mind. I wish all things became smooth as they were at the beginning. Because a small crack on the wall leaves a permanent mark no matter how much you try to mend it. No amount of assurance will make up for the loss.

Unnamed

A late night session

An intense conversation or some random confession?

None of them wanted it to stop

Neither wanted any awkward question to pop.

Both of them were witness of the worst

Still understood how priorities came first.

Mind filled with inumerous distractions

Expanding their love in different dimensions

Life was beautiful when it was monotone

But new colors flew in when ended the call on telephone. Some relations remain undefined,

Making two hearts unknowingly entwined

Few words were safe when locked

Suddenly a dream broke when the reality knocked.

Little things

You don’t need anything big to surprise someone. Maybe a small flower is enough to please them. Maybe a small good morning wish can make their day. Maybe just a smile would suffice.

It’s not the gestures but the people who matter. The people who understand a slight change in your voice. The people who understand your odd message replies. The people who know you by every minute cell. Sometimes all we need is a little care and attention. Is it too much to ask for? Be available to people when they need you. You never know how good they would feel at that moment. But how frequently does this happen? Too rare, right? Little things stay forever.

When you come home after a long day and see your dog wagging his tail, that little part of everyday is called happiness. He does nothing extra ordinary the next day, but you wait for that moment everyday. Yes, these things make a huge impact on you, on your life. Is it wrong to find happiness in the smallest corners? I guess not. Every moment has an importance of its own. Every thing happens for a reason.

People don’t ask for much. They ask for little attention. A phone call is enough to remind them that you care. Maybe they will have a broad smile thinking about you. Understand people around you. Understand how they value you and how you should return back the love 🙂

What if?

What if you were an unnamed poetry

I would always struggle to find for the right words.

What if you were a blank canvas

I would paint it the way i want  to.

What if you were a missing chord

I would hum a music just in sync with it.

What if you were at a divergent road

I would be there to go ahead with you.

What if you were confused about life

I would be there to show you a hope.

What if you were stuck in rain

I would be there to make you enjoy those drops.

What if you were the fog in a wintry morning

I would be the ray of sunshine for your warmth.

What if you were nothing but an illusion

I would still be there to find the real you.

Shades

There are some days when you don’t know what to prioritize. Either you keep your mind first or your heart. Tough decisions of life. Isn’t it?

Falling in such dilemma is probably common. Because you don’t have control on a few things. You can’t control your mind even if you know few things may go wrong. You believe in the present. You believe in the moments which make you happy each passing day. Or it is just the demand of the situation.

Your mind isn’t ready to get convinced. There comes a time when there is a miscommunication between your mind and your heart. You know things aren’t going right, but you cannot stop them either.

There are people you don’t want to lose either. There presence makes you happy. But on the other hand you actually want to distance yourself from them. Because you apprehend of something. Things you don’t want to happen. At a time, they give you all the attention you want and after some days vanish. Is it even fair? You give food to a person when he isn’t hungry. And when he genuinely demands for it, you tend to ignore! Well, that’s this world for you.

When a person wants to talk to you, he will talk. And when he feels you’re doing no good to him, you’re no more of any use he slowly distances himself by giving all false excuses. The other person doesn’t understand in which phase you’re presently in. They don’t understand that mentally how much you’ve moved forward and it’s very difficult to return back. When you’ve already drawn a line, even though you try hard to erase it, the marks would still be there. People shower you with memories, give you so much to remember and then plead you to forget it. Do you really think these things can be easily forgotten?

No relationship is perfect. Because someone tries and someone quits. Although you had started to draw the line together, but only one person erases it.
