Hi! For those who don't know me, I'm Katz.

Haven’t thrown any bricks in a while, what if normie thinks he’s a curse? Cause his old party got eaten by the fae and then he got a new party and accidentally ended up back at the same fae, who almost ate his party AGAIN, what if he thinks he’s doomed to get his party killed? Alternatively, what if normie IS somehow connected to the fae?

Ooooo! Going back to the fact that we know nothing about his parents other than that they live in a small town, what if they promised him to the Fae for some service but were able to find a loophole in the deal to keep from having to turn him over!

Imma take inspiration from this: what if Normie is a changeling who was swapped at birth and his parents knew (only because changeling babies tend to act differently than human babies), but just raised him as their own. This could explain why Normie gets taken out by any form of physical combat so easily, but the other residents of his world, even other wizards, are more resistant to physical harm. Changelings are said to be more sickly and/or frail.

I was thinking that Normie would be the one to approach Doc, since Doc probably wouldn't think of teaching Normie to fly for Normie's safety. Doc would refuse Normie's request and instead opt to get Tholdrin a flight simulator game instead.

Anyways now imagine MARSOC stealing a plane or helicopter from the FOB and teaching Normie to fly much to Doc's dismay

a lot of us underestimate MARSOC's ability to be a terrifying force of nature

my main reasoning for Tholdrin approaching Doc despite that seeming wildly out of character is this:

the F-100 Super Sabre

why? napalm.

If you want medieval, greek fire used by the Byzantines from the 7th-14th centuries, which is essentially napalm before napalm existed :3
