Shiro closely follows nanami as the latter shows him around the school grounds. The pair have been walking quietly up until now, so shiro attempts to break the silence the only way he knows how to.

"Do you have a cursed technique"

“Yes. What of it?” He responded quietly. In all honesty, he was enjoying the silence, and was ever so slightly it was broken. However, Shiro would never know, his face staying the exact same.

Shiro unfortunately does not pick up on this and bombards him with questions.

What is it called? How does it funtion? Do you use a cursed tool? Can you show me?

Nanami sighed, but knew they were all simple questions. It’d be rude to ignore him. “It called the ratio technique. Unfortunately, it’s simple, yet complicated. I’ll both explain it and show you my cursed tool once we’ve sat down.”

A little while later both of them are seated inside the student communal room. Nanami's weapon is layed out on the table.

"Its bound in cloth, has it to do with some sort of binding vow?"

“Not exactly. I simply found that this weapon being blunt works better for my cursed technique. The cloth is of cursed energy as well.”

A small statured boy with white-grayish hair, is seen wandering around aimlessly on the schoolground of the tokyo technical school.

It is clear that he is lost.

Nanami, noticing the boy, sighed. He knew that the kid probably shouldn’t be there and that someone was eventually going to be called to deal with him. Better handle it sooner than later. He slowly walked the child, trying to appear more approachable than normal. “Hey there.” He said casually. “Are you lost?”

Shiro was startled by the unfamiliar voice, sharply turning his head in the other boy's direction

"Ah, um..yeah i'm n-new here. J-just moved t-to tokyo- what! Am i at the wrong place, is this not tokyo tech?!"

“No, no, you’ve got the right place. I’m just surprised that someone so young is here.”

Embarrassed he breaks eye contact

"Actually i'm 15 years old"

Nanami’s eyes widened ever so slightly. “I apologize. I couldn’t tell. New student?”
