There was a post a while ago (I don't know when) that talked about this stuff. It went something like this:
At the beginning of the internet, in the '90s and the early '00s, we were told to hide our identities. You never know who's a creep, a pedophile, or a serial killer.
Then, Facebook came out, and suddenly, everything's about real faces, real names, real information about real people being handed out to the creeps, the pedophiles, the serial killers, and the corporations. And that info is getting taken. Not stolen if you gave it up freely.
Apparently, you can type your name and city into ChatGPT, and it will spit out all public information on you. I hide my name and face, so it doesn't know me. Make sure it can't know you. Hide yourself from the machine
