Sara enjoyed the silence with Ashley. “We can’t.” She breathed contently and reached for the remote. “Okay enough sappiness. I need to know what Olivia Pope is going to do next.” Sara said turning on the next episode and getting comfortable next to Ashley.

Ashley just looked at Sara...her girlfriend. She smiled softly at the older girl. She chuckled softly when Sara spoke again. “You love being sappy with me.” She joked as she made herself comfortable, holding Sara. She watched as the girl hit play and the show started. Ashley was genuinely happy for the first time in a long time.

Sara smiled against Ashley’s lips. “Nothing. I just think I’m ready now.” Sara sighed snd rested her head on the girl. “We won’t go wrong this time right?” She asked needing assurance that this time they were gonna last, nothing was going to break them up.

Ashley was so happy. She wrapped her arms tighter around the older girl. She smiled widely. Ashley took a breath as she kissed Sara’s head softly. “No. We won't.” She said confidently. “You’re the one for me.” Ashley rested her hands on Sara’s waist. “I love you too much to ever let what happened before happen again. I don't want to lose you ever again.” She said honestly.

Sara missed the fireworks that played on the backs of her eyelids every time she kissed Ashley. “Be my girlfriend again…” Sara said once she had come up for air looking in Ashley’s crystal blue eyes. “I want you to be my girlfriend again.” She assured resting her head on Ashley’s chest.

Ashley sighed contently as Sara pulled back from the kiss. She still held the older girl close to her. She opened her eyes and looked down at Sara. “Really?” She asked softly as her eyes lit up with pure joy. She ran her fingers through Sara’s hair. Ashley smiled as she looked at Sara’s eyes. “I would love to.” She said softly as she leaned forward and kissed Sara, letting it linger. She pulled back and held Sara’s head close to her chest. “What changed your mind?” She asked as she ran her fingers up the girl’s arm.

Sara brought the rest of her body in top of Ashley and nodded before leaning in and giving Ashley a deep kiss. The first deep kiss in months. She had been trying to control herself around the younger girl wanted to do their relationship right this time. Thinking maybe if they took it slow it would end better for them.

Ashley was surprised when Sara climbed on top of her and kissed her deeply. They had been keeping everything innocent and working on rebuilding their relationship for the last month. Ashley wrapped her arms around Sara as she returned the kiss just as deeply as Sara started it. She missed it. She shifted her body under Sara’s so the older girl could settle between her legs as she kissed Sara.

“I am getting stronger.” She conceded. “I missed kissing you.” Sara said moving half of her body on top of Ashley’s and giving her the rest of her attention when the show ended.

Ashley smiled. She really cared about Sara and was happy that the older girl had let her back in her life. She looked at Sara as she ran her hand down the girl’s back. Ashley felt more of Sara’s body on her own. She brought her hand up to tangle her fingers in Sara’s hair. “You did?” She said softly. “You can kiss me whenever you want, you know that.” She said as she smiled down at the older girl. “Did you want to kiss me right now?” She asked as she brushed some hair out of Sara’s face.

Sara ripped the candy with her teeth chewing it happily. “Sounds like you had a full day or full half of the day.” Sara nodded. “Yeah I had training this morning for two hours and then work and then I came home, showered, Netflix.” Sara continued to much on the candy. Taking one, she put it between her teeth and tilted her head at Ashley. “Want one.”

Ashley nodded as she ran her fingers through Sara’s hair. “Yeah. It was pretty busy, but I’m really excited to start school again.” She said. Ashley looked down at the older girl and smiled. “You look like you’re getting stronger.” She said as she playfully squeezed Sara’s bicep. Ashley watched the show and turned her head to look at Sara when the girl spoke. She chuckled softly before she leaned forward and took the gummy worm into her mouth. She gently kissed Sara’s lips before biting down and pulling back, eating the candy.

Sara smiled and leaned in to kiss Ashley again before taking the bag and digging through it. “I’m watching scandal.” Sara said taking out the gummy worms and opening them. “I missed you.” She said, playing the show and cuddling into Ashley. “How was your day?” She asked trying to focus on Ashley and her new favorite show.

Ashley smiled and rested her hand on Sara’s arm as she kissed her back. She pushed the bag over to Sara as she leaned back on the pillows. Ashley wrapped her arm around the older girl and kissed the top of her head. “I missed you, too.” She said as she looked at the TV. “My day was okay. I went to UCLA to talk to one of the academic counselors about getting my credits transferred and plan for classes in the fall, and I went to lunch with my mom.” She looked down at Sara. “How was your day? Did you train again?”

Sara was binge watching scandal when she heard the knock on the door. “Dammit.” She cursed pausing the show and going to the door. “Ash.” She beamed and pulled the girl inside greeting her with a kiss. “Hi babe.” She said pulling the girl back to her room.

Ashley smiled widely when the door opened. She saw Sara dressed in her sweats and glasses. “Hey.” She said as she returned Sara’s kiss. Ashley lifted up the plastic bag in her hand. “I wanted to surprise you and spend the evening with you if you don't mind some company.” She smiled as she slipped her shoes off and followed Sara into her bedroom. “I got your favorite.” She said as she climbed on to the bed. “What are you watching?”

Ashley was on her way over to Sara’s. She wanted to surprise the girl. They hadn't seen each other a whole lot in the last week because Sara was busy with work and Ashley had her own stuff going on. She stopped at the store an got a bunch of junk food because she wanted to spend a quiet night in with the older girl. Ashley parked her car in front of Sara’s apartment and walked in the building and up to her door. She knocked on the door and waited patiently for Sara to answer.
