I’ve been a Tumblr lurker for a long time and have only recently started wanting to get back into writing and I figured ‘fuck it’ I have nothing better to do other than to fuel my own creativity. I get a lot of joy from writing, and even from the possibility that others may like my work.

Han and Sideswipe
Confidence and anxiousness meet in this dynamic duo
Sideswipe is very solid in how he holds himself, confident, cool, calculated. He’s able to end a decepticon life in one slash of his blades but when his human charge is having a hard time, he doesn’t really know how to act. Jisung ends up helping sideswipe be more comforting, he learns how to best help Jisung over the years of watching over the human popstar. Jisung can be found perched on Sideswipe’s shoulder, usually when he needs time to breathe and be up and away from the loudness. Sometimes he will lean into the bot’s helm as he just talks to the other bots, no one really paying mind.
The Corvette Stingray that is Sideswipe is a very dynamically designed car. Jisung only recently learned how to drive, and his ride of choice that isn’t his autobot guardian is a fucking KIA Soul. So Jisung really tries to only go with Sideswipe when going on solo schedules- or if he’s running late to the studio and he knows traffic will be bad. Stay definitely loves seeing Jisung exit the sleek car, some joking that Minho bought the car for him, or that he hated the KIA so bad he immediately bought a new, faster car.
Felix and Jazz
Ride or mother fucking die besties
Felix and Jazz get along very well, both very energetic, both having unique voices/accents, they actually have quite a bit in common other than the fact that they’re different species. Felix makes the mistake of asking Jazz for advice because he is a very confrontational bot with a sort of crazy outgoing attitude. Jazz is in fact a ride or die kinda bot, but Felix would also argue that he’s the kind to say ‘fuck it, you getting arrested? Not without a fight first!’. Not to mention, one time when Felix got pulled over for ‘speeding’ (he wasn’t even driving), Sideswipe led the officer, and the three others that joined him, in a quick manauvering, high speed chase. He lost the cops and when they got back to the dorm’s garage, Felix scolded him for a good twenty or so minutes.
Felix isn’t allowed to drive around with Jazz anymore, not until a good few months after the chase, and he definitely only drives at night. This is also after Felix got him new plates. Stay has only spotted him once getting out of the car, and Felix was definitely worried that the cops may show up at his door due to being spotted getting out of the car one day.
Seungmin and Arcee (ROTB)
The teasing and sarcastic puppy meets the brave and compassionate robot.
Seungmin never really had an interest in driving motorcycles. Sure, he thought they were cool and maybe would try riding one in the future, but he met Arcee the same time that Felix met Jazz and he somehow took a liking to Arcee. She was bold and also a bit of a rage baiter to the others, quipping back with some sarcasm the same way an older sister would. The two go on late night rides often, just like the others do. You can honestly find the Ducati and the Stingray driving next to each other on the interstate (and backroads) , the pair of vehicles sometimes racing, but mostly just going for calming drives, talking on a technical four way call so the two bots and two humans could talk about their days.
Seungmin keeps finding photos of him on Twiter, the ‘hot mystery biker’ riding around Seoul on a pink Ducati made in 1987. Natizens, some Stay aswell, talking about how he’s ‘such a green flag’ for buying the pink bike. He would show the posts to Felix, snickering behind his sleeve, knowing he’d have to show them to Arcee Later.
Jeongin and Bumblebee
Our FAVORITE YOUNGEST DUO
Bee and Jeongin are literally the cutest duo, they’re best friends and immediately connected from the first time the two met. Some of the other members took time to get used to/know their Cybertronian guardians, but Jeongin and Bee hit it off practically in the first five minutes. Jeongin got Bee’s windows tinted early on so he could go for joyrides any time he wanted and was free from schedules.
Jeongin knows that the striped yellow camaro was already an attention grabber on the street, so he decided against letting Bee take him to solo schedules, or even to the JYPE building. He basically wants to keep Bee as his private friend, whom of which he wouldn’t have to share with anyone, not even his members. They have their own guardians and friends to hang out with. Yes, the maknae was being possessive of his happy-go-lucky yellow sports car.

Bang Chan and Optimus Prime
Come on, we all knew this was gonna happen-
Chan and Prime are both leaders of their respective groups. They often have meaningful talks about how to give better advice and how to handle their own emotions when situations get tough. Now, Chan does have his own car that isn’t Optimus, I feel like thats a given, as it’s not very subtle to drive around a flame painted Peterbilt. Nonetheless, Optimus does still supervise him through GPS (basically Autobot Life 360), he’s always parked near in case of an emergency. Luckily during concerts, Optimus can fit in with the other rigs that held the band’s equipment.
There was one time a Stay caught a photo of Chan getting out of Optimus’s vehicle form and the company put out a statement denying it was even Chan. The picture was half blurred and only half of his face was visible, also why tf would an Idol be riding shotgun in a Semi-Truck?? Chan does drive to the outskirts of Seoul to meet up with Optimus when he doesn’t have schedules right after, when he has a long weekend or when he needs to take a breatherm that’s when he appreciates the fellow leader’s words of wisdom.
Lee Know and Hot Rod
Certified Sassy Pants vs. Chaos Incarnate
Hot Rod has such a short fuse for bullshit and he is absolutely the king of sass. His little quip about his how to pronounce his name and then his reaction to the comment of his accent (In TLK) really drives that home for me. Minho absolutely does not help the chaos, he even eggs it on. They both act like siblings, always trying to peeve the other off even though they’d both probably die for each other. Minho will fully tease the autobot, fueling the fire, just pouring gasoline on it and proceeding to watch Hot Rod blow a fuse on another comrade or even on him if he rage baits the lambo enough. 9/10 times Hot Rod crashes about dumb shit so none of the autobots really takes him seriously. He can thank Minho for that-
Hot Rod doesn’t drive Minho around every day due to his flashy vehicle mode, but he does drive him to every event he goes to where he doesn’t have to show up with the group out of the same van. Whether at Fashion Week, Solo photoshoots/ schedules, or sometimes when he goes to a convenience store the orange and black sports car be spotted carting the Idol around. Some Stay speculate it’s his car, loving the photos of him in and by the sleek car. They joked that when Changbin was speculated to be driving a Lambo, that it was actually Minho’s and he was letting Bin to borrow it. Other Stay joke that Minho has a Sugar Daddy who carts him around everywhere.
(Little do they its a thousand+ year old, French accented Autobot and luckily not a 65 year old man)
Changbin and Ironhide
Bin and Hide’s personalities are, imo, very different. It feels like they would have more a father son relationship to me.
Okay, now this is a vehicle Changbin takes with him everywhere, he has a second car just incase someone starts to associate the truck mode of Hide’s with Bin. He doesn’t want to make the bot change his well-loved vehicle form just because Stay quill absolutely notice him getting in and out of the American Made truck. Trucks are seen as more luxury and rare in South Korea, more akin to ‘hobby vehicles’ Changbin just really tries not to get seen, parking in back lots or a few blocks from whichever store or restaurant he’s at. Also lowkey because Ironhide’s FAT ASS truck form can’t fit in most parking spots and garages… Inconvenient, but he loves his guardian.
Ironhide is very protective of Changbin, he supports how loud and passionate the rapper is. He is Bin’s dedicated bodyguard and is the more level-headed of the two. Ironhide is a seasoned war veteran, he tries to lead conversations with meaningful advice in his words, trying to be someone Changbin can rely on when he’s in a rough patch, but Ironhide can also get extraordinarily slightly trigger happy. He’s also another Autobot with a short fuse. Whenever Changbin needs advice Ironhide is there with words of wisdom. Whenever Bin needs silence, Ironhide is there to provide a stress free ride around Seoul or even into the countryside. And when Ironhide goes off the rails, Changbin is there to help reel him in, being there for the Autobot as he has for Bin.
Hyunjin and Drift
Double artists, different mediums <3
Hyunjin is a painter, Drift is a writer, they’re both artists in their own respective mediums and they both will sit together and work on their passions, giving criticisms and compliments to each other’s work. Sometimes Drift even helps with lyric suggestions for SKZ songs, especially because he writes haikus. His are more poetic with deeper or double sided meanings. The two of them often go for long drives and multi-day vacations, 9 times out of 10 they try to head to a secluded place so Drift can actually transform and stretch his legs.
The Mercedes model of Drift’s is less of an eyesore than the Bugatti, while Hyunjin shortly mourned the signature blue of his guardian, he did appreciate less heads turning whenever he went for a drive. Of course, a good handful car gurus would sometimes point at the unpopular car, but Hyunjin doesn’t mind. He likes that others can see the tastefulness in Drift’s vehicle form. There have been a few times where Stay have caught him getting out of the car, luckily it was when he was exiting the passenger seat. He however wasn’t sure how to feel about the passenger princess allegations that flooded his Bubble and Twitter after that photo leaked.
