The Sidewinder or AT-SMR is a micro missile launcher firing 20mm Mosquito rockets. That have a high velocity and are capable of extreme penetration due to the shape charge in the head. With this extreme penetration comes at the cost of area of effect. But you can always switch ammunition types. This weapon is classified as a grenadier weapon it proved it's worth in the Titan Wars all those years ago. Giving a rifleman a means to damage the metal behemoths that strode the battlefield. Of course it is also commonly used by Combat Certified Pilots who've praised the gun for it's ability to turn enemy armor into scrap. Despite it firing micro missiles it's recoil is non existent this is because there's no combustion in the gun. Although it is ment to be used against armor there have been reports of it being used against infantry and you don't want to see what happens to a human body when it meets a micro missile. Spoiler it's gonna be a close casket funeral. With the advancement of robotic infantry such as Reapers and Stalkers as well as titan armor becoming even more resilient the Sidewinder will be a necessity in the battlefields of the future. It'll take on any and all challenges thrown its way after all it's a micro missile launcher.

The L Star is a plasma light machine gun that entered service a few years ago. This weapon is devastating and brutal it fires bolts of plasma burning hotter than the surface of the Sun. When a bolt hits a human the energy and heat from it cause the body to quite literally explode. Body armor will do jack all against it and if your body armor somehow keeps you alive. Congratulations you're now covered in molten metal. With a fast rate of fire and easy to control recoil this gun is a favorite for Combat Certified Pilots. A single battery holds 250 rounds but due to it being a plasma weapon it'll over heat before you run out of shots. This is where the heat sink in front of the gun comes in you can fire 45 continuous shots before needing to replace the heat sink. It is recommended that you burst fire the gun to avoid needing to replace the heat sink in the middle of a firefight. The development of form-fitting personal body Shields a person can now survive a few shots from an L star but it is recommended that you don't get hit at all. This gun is a beautiful monstrosity and a reminder of the brutality that humans are capable of. If you plan on being somebody who wields an L star I hope you don't mind getting covered in blood and giblets.
