“Never did I imagine that it could be so… bright.”
-Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition (2019)
Karis is a Selkie, her family fishermen. She joined the caravan with Pol at 17 (he was 15) and has been with it five years now. She’s a little underspoken, a little soft, but fiercely overprotective of her companions.
Introducing the Crystal Caravan, from left to right: Mana (she/her), Pol (he/him), Bea (they/them), Alta (he/him), Karis (she/her), and Mog (he/they). Mana is the eldest of the miller’s children, bright and sunny, a little clumsy, but very well-read. She typically carries the crystal chalice for the party. She and Alta are the newest additions to the caravan. Pol is the merchant’s son. He’s the heaviest hitter, and with Karis, has been in the caravan the longest. Bea is the alchemists’ child. They’re very laidback and typically kind. They joined the caravan several years after Pol and Karis. Alta is the youngest of the tailor’s children. He’s overzealous and exciteable and likes to think he’s in charge. If not for Pol, he’d be the shortest. He pretends it doesn’t bother him. Karis is the fisher’s daughter, very close to her father before joining the caravan with Pol, her best friend. She’s a little more reserved than you’d expect, used to being distrusted for being a Selkie. Mog joins the caravan the same year as Mana and Alta; they encounter them on the road with the Alfitaria caravan. He very rarely carries the chalice, and mostly provides advice and support magic.
