She smiled, thanked the nurse, then walked over to take a seat next to her friend. Apparently she broke her arm on impact. The nurse gave her a good month to recover fully but she decided to get a second opinion one she gets home just to be sure.

 ”I’d love some ice cream right now.”

"Sure, I'll get you some." He chuckled as always and stood up to get some ice-cream for her, but having no idea where to get ice-cream in the first place. His awful sense of direction and navigation abandoned him once more, and he hasn't held an ice-cream for several years, so how is he supposed to know where to get them? So he turned around, awkwardly, and tilted his head at Cynthia.

"So..let's get one together."

She covered her mouth to laugh slightly at the champion. “I’m just messing with you! Did you honestly think I’d want to battle someone as ridiculous as you?” She brushed some hair out of her face. “Is that what champions always think about? People trying to take their titles? It’s a shame. I really thought you’d put up more of a fight with that sense of justice of yours. But you’re just boring like everyone else! Are you seriously going to just let me do as I please?” 

She pushed Lance against a street light, her hand on his throat, but then looked away, loosening her grip then completely letting go. She just about had him where she wanted him, but for some reason, something just seemed off. What was bothering her? Was she hoping for more of a struggle? Was she really so discontent with Team Galactic that she felt the need for someone to try to stop her from staying there? She was only there, waiting for Master Cyrus’ return, but he hadn’t even shown himself. Was it even worth staying?

She turned around, glancing back at Lance. “Consider yourself lucky I didn’t take advantage of this situation. But also consider this a warning not to get in my way! I’m just a lost cause after all…” She turned away, and began to walk off, her heels slowly clacking against the ground.

"I knew you were messing with me, that's not the problem. I'm not really having the urge to get into trouble n-" Before he could end yet -another- argument, somehow Jupiter managed to clench him against the street light with one single movement. However, the moment he wanted to undertake action, Lance noticed the weakened grip on his throat. To Lance's surprise, it loosened. 

If she wanted to murder him in the first place, why stop? Something was clearly bothering her. While he folded his hands, leaning against the pole, Lance carefully listened to what she had to say.

I'm just a lost cause after all..

Even though Jupiter attempted to kill him, Lance somehow still wanted to lend a hand. Jupiter was much smarter with using her words than he was, and one had to have confidence yet not once more, wade through a pool of arrogance made by her. But he could try, no? " Jupiter..You must look past all of the hurt and abandonment you have endured. Don’t allow it to cloud your mind. Kick it up a notch, make sure you go your own way, even though I would choose for the good path here. But I see that doesn't interest you. Just know, that if you need a helping hand somewhere.." Lance didn't know if she was still listening, but continued anyways. "..Just let your friends know. I'm sure they know what to do."

Steven looked around as they arrived, noting that, indeed, the amount of people taking refuge at the gate were low. Sighing, he removed his suit’s coat to shake some water out of it. Ah, someone was going to have a field day once he had it dry-cleaned…

It was cold in the gate, just like it was cold outside. Ah well, he could try and deal with it. He wasn’t about to shiver like a Sableye twitched in front of Lance.

Removing his cravat as well, he blinked and turned to the dragon-type user. Ah, yes, he should probably mention what he had in mind. “If I could contact Captain Stern on Hoenn, I could possibly ask him to bring a submarine here to Johto. Transfering it from the ocean to the lake could be done with our own Pokémon’s help, I suppose.” So long as they were careful…

He wasn’t too experienced in how submarines worked, but he had decent knowledge. Lake of Rage shouldn’t be that deep, so they wouldn’t need that one component…

“I’ll let him know it’s for an investigation. Should I tell him to bring it as soon as he can?” They should probably work as soon as possible, but it’d be harder to do so if it was raining…

"Captain Stern.." Yes, that would be a great solution. Captain Stern was famous for his oceanography, and Hoenn wasn't far away from Johto. "..Yes. Yes, that would be a good plan. Tell him to bring it as soon as possible, indeed."

The submarine wouldn't take longer than, let's say, a week? moving it to the lake of rage wouldn't be that hard as well, Their pokemon would indeed be strong enough to carry it for such a short while. But was it raining in Hoenn as well? It probably wouldn't. 

The lights fell out in the gate, just as he expected it to. Well, this wasn't going to help them any further. Cursing silently, he tried to calm down the few people, and moved on with discussing their plan.

"So, you are going to reach Stern, I'll make sure there will be a route clear between the ocean and the lake of Rage?" Lance had nothing more to say about it, had he? The plan was geniously made by Steven and he couldn't think of a better way to get a submarine.

So, Lance had been fed by them when he was younger.

"Both men and women develop breasts from the same embryological tissues. As a result, women's breasts become far more prominent than those of men."

So, Lance had breasts too, but because of testorsterone, they weren't as girls had them.

Lance doesn't really like boobs in personal, it's just another part of the body, isn't it?

Not only was he called the Dragon master, he actually lived with Dragons all his live. In Blackthorn City, where it all begun with his Grandfather, The elder of the Dragon Clan. When he was just a little boy, his grandfather was his hero, his role model. Every day, every hour of the day, Lance tried to be with his Grandfather, learning everything about what you could learn about Dragons. Even Clair helped him, being his best friend. Yes, they were both very eager to learn everything. At the moment he got Demitri on his eighth birthday, he knew Dragons were his passion and he would continue to train them as strong as he could.

Dragons were mythical pokemon, They were hard and tough to catch and raise, but their powers were superior. They were virtually indestructible. There's no being clever with them. Especially the twins, his two Dragonairs, were difficult to raise.

Even though Lance learned everything from his family, he is still learning. Yes, even champions learn every day a bit more than they already know. He is fascinated by them, knowing he still needs to learn a lot more if he wishes to understand them, even though he's probably one of the most experienced Dragon-masters in the world.

Dragons have been a big part of his life, and he wouldn't want it different. Lance loved them. They were so powerful, so gracious and on the same time delicate and always waiting with a warm heart. That is, -if- you have enough time to care for them, because it takes so much time to make sure they'll listen. Maybe it seems like it doesn't work out at first, but if you gain their trust, they'll be your best friends forever.

Forest

The forest was a nice place to relax, to concentrate, to open his mind. Lance wasn't often in the forest, only if there was a situation going on, or when he was younger on his journey. No, he mostly spent time in Dragon's Den, Indigo Plateau and special occasions. Actually, Lance isn't really the much out-going guy, so he isn't going to the forest much.

However, the forest does have a special place in his heart. Lance had some great adventures, including a few meetings of people who he can call friends now.

“Oh, yeah~!” Meghan gave Lance a brightened smile at the mention of her favourite Gym Leader. “Volkner is my best friend, and Flint is my friend too!” 

Lance knowing who Volkner and Flint were piqued her interest and curiousity towards him. She’d never seen him around before. He didn’t feel like a bad man, despite the long cape and what not. “Are you looking for Volkner and Flint, Mister?” Meghan asked. “Volkner’s not gonna be in the gym for a really long time, I dunno when he’s gonna come back…” she explained, her expression became glum. Meghan missed her Gym Leader very much and wish he had said something before his sudden disappearance. 

Her gloomy expression quickly brightened. Now was not the time to be sad! “Oh yeah! My name is Meghan. What’s your name, Mister?”

He chuckled warmly at the girl, kneeling down to reach her eyesight. "No, I'm not looking for Volkner and Flint, I'm actually just admiring the sight of young trainers. You know, bringing old memories up from when I was as old as you are now. Oh, and it's certainly a delight to meet you, Meghan. There's no need to call me Mister though, call me Lance." he said calmly.

"So Volkner disappeared, eh?" Lance frowned lightly. It wasn't something for Volkner to disappear all the sudden, especially when he doesn't tell his relatives and friends. Even he didn't know anything about it. "Hm. And you have no idea where he'd might been gone to, Meghan? No clue of him left, perhaps?" The champion had respect for the little girl, all alone.

Evil

Evil.

Evil was a big word for Lance. There was a big difference between how people saw the word Evil and how they handled it.

Lance didn't handle it well.

Many years, he had a slight curious side in him that wanted to know what it meant to be really evil. But despite the one time he considered to join team Magma, he didn't join it. He was reckless and young at that time, unaware of the consequences it had for the people around him. People's lives could be destroyed by people like them, and what was the fun of that?

Unfortunately, Lance didn't realize it until he became older.

Maybe it made him the man he is today, maybe it didn't. But he despised Evil from the moment he saw the impact it made, and swore to himself that someday, someday he would be the exact opposite of the so-called Evil.

"Naturally." The co-champion said, smiling warmly as he stood up to retrieve some ice for Cynthia. After he shove the chair back to the table, he asked:  "Which flavor do you prefer..?" His hands decently behind his back, somehow he was still silently cursing himself for all this. How stupid of him to do such a thing, he should've known. Her day was ruined all because of that ridiculous incident.

Lance knew he shouldn't blame himself, but his subconscious didn't let him.

Jupiter’s laugh grew harder as she watched Lance’s silent response. She knew exactly what was bothering him, since unlike her, he had a much more valiant reputation to uphold. He couldn’t touch her. Especially since they were out in public and their roles were clearly visible to the outside world. She could toy with him as much as she’d like and he wouldn’t be able to do much back. That’s how Jupiter liked her men - helpless. 

“Aw… Why did you suddenly stop? Am I’m gonna have to wait? What a shame… It isn’t because you’re a champion, is it? Poor you…” She reached over and condescendingly patted Lance on the head, then crossed her arms. “I’m so glad I don’t worry about so many silly rules. No regrets here!” She smirked, trying to really rub it in. Of course there were small rules she had to deal with too, but she didn’t need to really bring them up. She broke them a few times, but never seemed to have to worry about getting caught. Besides, the more aggravated Lance got, the more fun it became for her. 

She moved in, face-to-face with Lance. “I see how badly you want to battle me. But, I bet you’ll probably never be able to do anything to me. Unless you break the rules, but you’re probably such a boring little goody-two-shoes.”

"Poor you.."

Lance backed off, knowing he had to restrain himself, he was a Champion after all. "Surely there must be a reason for you to want me battle you 'so badly'. I can't seem to think why, though. After all, being defeated isn't always fun, is it? Especially not by a champion." His lips tightened, his glare as unnatural for him focused on Juniper.He couldn't he let her battle for the Championstitle. It was too risky for him, especially against a Galactic grunt-type. "I will decline your offer, thank you very much."

"Call me whatever you want, dear. I don't actually mind anymore." Lance said, with a rather bored voice. She was right; He couldn't do much against her. And what was the point of it anyways? Lance didn't need to prove himself against Jupiter. She was smart enough to know that it wasn't easy to beat him out of the field. Lance wasn't the person who would brag, no, normally you could describe Lance as  selfless, trying to help people if he had the possibilities, but there were exceptions. Like Jupiter. Like all of Galactic. 

He gave up the arguement. 

Lance gave up.

Ugh.

“Ahh my Pokemon, huh..” Giselle laughed, her fingers searching for the other two Pokeballs. “This is Rapidash.. and Sableye” she introduced, quickly placing a hand over the neurotic equine Pokemon. “Rapidash is painfully shy because of her past,” she sighed, resting her body on the Pokemon and climbing atop it in an easy stride. The horse whinnied in protest of the unfamiliar stranger, but calmed down as she saw the dragonite descend. “Yes.. I am master Giselle’s” she whinned politely, whilst the Sableye offered a contorted grin at the larger Pokemon.

Giselle stifled a laugh as the Champion chided his Dragonite. “It’s really alright..” she trailed off, shooting an apologetic glance at the Pokemon. 

“Hmm, how about the Coffee House over there?” Giselle pointed to a little coffee shop tucked in the corner of the city. “There are seats outside and we can still let our Pokemon out..” She fanned herself with her hand, and directed the Rapidash toward the shop. whilst the equine apparently made small talk with Demetri as they approached.

A Sableye and a Rapidash? Pretty Impressive." he presumed. As he made his way towards Rapidash, he immediately stood still after hearing Giselle's words. Lance backed off instantly, not wanting to upset her. After all, you need to pay respect towards Pokemon. "I understand."

apparently, Dimitri's behaviour changed from being ..., to extremely enthousiast. The conversation he had with Rapidash must have been interesting, he considered. Sometimes he wished he could understand what they said, to hear them telling about different stories and about their past before he captured them. However, the signals and hand gestures were enough for him to understand a bit.

"The coffee house? Fairly well." Lance silently followed Giselle and Rapidash, not wanting to disturb their bond. With a flick of his wrist, he threw the pokeballs high up in the air, unleashing the rest of his team. Firenze, Fertrez, Leland, Samuray and Nyx all flew out of them at the exact same moment, which made Lance chuckle. They seemed ready to battle, but no target was there for them to attack. It made him laugh to see their surprised faces, they hadn't had a day off in a long time. Maybe this was just the thing they needed. 

Lance sat down on his chair, making himself comfortable while holding a eye out for his Pokemon. "So, Giselle, tell me more about your journey. I'm highly interested. You had not much trouble, I hope?"
