hey i'm having a bit of da2 modding trouble and figured this is as good a place to ask as any - where are the vanilla textures for the companions located in the game files? i cannot for the life of me find them and i'm losing my mind lol

Do you mean their armours? Depends on their race. For example, Isabela's armour can be found under "art\characters\playercharacter\humanfemale\textures".

If you're looking for like, face textures, those don't exist for most companions; they all just use the standard faces everyone else uses. The exception is Fenris, because of his tattoos. His face texture is under "art\characters\playercharacter\elfmale\textures".

Masc Home Finery for Fem Hawke

This mod replaces fem Hawke's home finery with the masculine, pants version.

Harding's Casual Clothes for Rook

A remesh of Harding's casual outfit to fit Rook. Replaces the Tunic Noir outfit (the default Shadow Dragon one) - will only work on fem bodies, sorry. Should work with retextures of Harding's outfit as long as they're loaded after this mod.

Skin Tint Edits for Dragon Age The Veilguard

This mod edits the skin tint gradient file to remove the greenness of the Cool skin tints. They are still cooler than Neutral, but less green! This is especially noticeable on darker skin.

I will be experimenting with other edits as well. (First on my priority list is to see if I can get the darker tones to have a darker range.)

Emerald Knight Warrior Specialization for Dragon Age 2

I personally desired a different kind of thematic specialization for my warrior Hawke, as none of the base game ones really fit her in a roleplaying sense. So I made this mod to add a new warrior specialization, inspired by the Emerald Knights of the Dales.

I'm so annoyed right now because I'm trying to use NCS Decompile to convert an NCS file to NSS in order to view it! But no matter what I do I keep getting "[Errno 2] No such file or directory" with Python ugh I can't figure out what's wrong

Elf Hawke Head Presets

This mod adds three elf head presets for fem and masc Hawke each, and elf heads for Hawke's family as well (optional). The presets can be fully edited using the in-game CC just like any other.

Bonuses to playing as an elf Hawke by using these heads:

All base game armours fit!

All base game hair mods are naturally compatible!

All animations line up and work properly!

Winter Palace Formal Attire Replacement

This mod changes the formal attire for every player race, as well as all companions and advisors. Everyone gets Hawke's party outfit from Dragon Age 2 - Mark of the Assassin, except for fem elves, who get Tallis's party outfit.

Vallaslin Enhanced

This mod replaces all the vallaslin with more vibrant and crisp textures, repainted by hand. I also made them all symmetrical, because it was wild how over half of them weren't even properly centred on the face.

Isabela's Duelist Outfit for Rook

This is a port of Dragon Age: Inquisition's multiplayer alt outfit for Isabela. It affects ONLY Rook, replacing the Rivaini Panoply outfit.
