Opening Credits

My name is Toby Kirk and this is my thoughts, lifestyle, trends and passions.  My plan is to give you weekly updates as to what has been going on in my life and my great passion that is streetwear and the lifestyle and brands associated with it. Some brands that are really doing it for me at the moment are Known, The Hundreds, Stussy, HUF, Diamond Supply Co. and Carhartt.  I’ll show you my style and trends and updates to my collections as it happens well as areas of interest to me and hopefully you.

I want to get things kick started straight away so I’ll start with yesterdays daily wear.

We’ll Start from the ground up and start with shoes.  One thing you get to know about me is that I LOVE LAKAI FOOTWEAR if you have never owned a pair of these shoes go out and get some right away!  The fit is incredible and the insoles are shock absorbing foam so if you are like me and enjoy a bit of skateboarding then these shoes are uber comfortable.  The pair in this photo is my go to pair they pretty much go with anything, these are the Lakai Marcs.  With a slightly higher heel and ankle cup these are brilliant for providing that extra support whilst skating, all in all a top notch shoe but you do pay the price for them, at around £60 depending on the retailer but believe me you get what you pay for they are great.

Next up is one of my go to pairs of chinos.  From Next believe it or not they have been one of the most resilient pairs of chinos having put several others through the rigours of a few falls from my board, and for £30 not a bad price.  Awesome fit and stand the test of time, love them!

The tshirt, Known, what can i say about this, I love this brand if i had the money I’d buy every single item in their range.  This tee is perfect in every way, the design, the fit, the quality and colour of print.  I love it and i think that the line ‘It takes a nation of millions to hold us back’ is a great representation of the power of the people.  At £30, again, you get what you pay for a great item of clothing that stands the test of time

Finally, it brings me to my pride and joy, my Hundreds ballers jacket.  This being one of my larger purchases at £95 i was a little skeptical when i bought it but i have grown to love it and it was definitely a good investent.  The embroidery is flawless and the shape of it is well made again this is another of my go to items of clothing i wear this nearly every day it feels great to wear and is suitable for almost any look!

To wrap it all up then I look forward to posting more about my life and style for you next week ill go through my complete collection of tshirts and hopefully you’ll have a greater sense of what my style is all about. So until then….
