Asher didn’t care about anything, all she cared about was what was happening right now. Her mind could only think about the type of thrill that Eric gave her every time she was around him, but at his tease, she couldn’t help but laugh. Feeling like their playful relationship was still the same, she felt thankful. “You really going to start teasing me again, Ripley?” she smiled in between their kisses, though the intense kisses he was giving her made her shut up once again. Laying back comfortably on his couch with him on top of her, she reached for the hem of his shirt and with one swift move she brought it over his head to reveal his bare chest. After getting it off, she threw it across the room before grinning against their locked lips.
Eric was and always would be someone who constantly teased the people he cared about. The jokes and the witty comments happened to be his own, weird way in telling them that he cared. With Asher being someone that he deeply cared for, he hoped that the teasing with her would never end. “I’m never going to stop, Prescott.” Eric managed to get out as his shirt was bring pulled over his head. Once the fabric was free, he ran his hands along the sides of her body, memorizing every curve of her frame. It wasn’t enough for him though. He wanted to feel her warm skin under his fingertips and feel how fast her heart was racing. As he began to tug at her shirt, Eric pressed their lower bodies together to create a slow friction between the two.

“I don’t think it will be the very first thing you’ll do but I’ll say it’ll be so a lady with much more sensitive sensibilities wont pass out from the mere suggestion you’d do something untoward. You know me or at least you think you do and I am all about other peoples sensitive sensibilities” Liana chuckled before the elevator jostled again gripping the side of the elevator as the lights began to flash and the elevator came to an abrupt halt. Another laugh left her lips except that this time it was a little uneasier than normal, a tad off; worried. “When I write my first novel I’ll dedicate the forward to you - to Young Rob Lowe here’s that newspaper article but bigger.” She breathed running her hands through her hair, closing her eyes taking a deep breath. “Or you pressed the button and did this intentionally. I wouldn’t put it past you. Well I’ve got a granola bar and some breath mints in my purse - couple of other candies and a juice box.”
“What else are you all about? Even if I do already know you, because I think that I do, I want to know more.” Eric insisted, stepping closer until the movement caused him to step back to his original spot. At that point, he decided to grip onto the nearby railing as it was better to be safe than sorry. Although, he wasn’t quite sure what holding onto a railing would do, but at least it was something. “I’ll be sure to look out for that then, but I won’t buy it.” He stated through a quiet chuckle before adding, “if I’m going to buy anything that will benefit you, it’ll be a drink and if you’re lucky, dinner.” Usually, Eric was never this forward with someone. Except, she had this pull on him that made him say things that otherwise would have stayed in his head. “I might be a little crazy, but I’m not crazy enough to stop an elevator. If it’s an apple juice box, I call dibs.”

“Please, no tips means I’d quit and he can’t afford to lose his best bartender. You, on the other hand, he could totally make do without.” The brunette cooed, twisting around to where her back was leaning against the back of the bar top. “Whoa there!” It was then she kicked off her heel and chased after him. “Where do you think you’re going with all that? Cough it up, kid, you know you don’t deserve it all.”
By the time she caught up to him, Eric was at his locker, shoving the money into his backpack. Peaking at her over his shoulder, a chuckle escaped. “Who you calling kid? You’re the one who’s, what, are you 16 with a very believable fake ID?” He shut the locker door and swung the bag over his shoulder. “Now if you’d move, I have somewhere to be, kid.”
sophlacroix:
“Don’t even, Ripley.” The blonde bit back, though it was clear in her features that she was trying to hold back her laughter. “You know I can do worse, I’m just you know—-focused on everything else. Like the fact that we’re stranded!” It was the only way she could clean up the mess of words she was making. “You better be laughing with me, mister and not at me!” She continued, finally breaking into her own course of laughter. “Um, excuse you, I’m one hundred percent real here. All natural beauty, baby. I understand you might not know what that is, though. I mean, you’ve been forced to look at yourself for your entire life and we both know you’re not cute and ever since you left LA, you’ve probably been around people who don’t hold a candle to me so…. Clearly, you’ve forgotten what it’s like to be around someone this gorgeous.”
As she spoke Eric continuously nodded his head and hummed in agreement. “Of course I’m laughing at you. What kind of a friend would I be if I didn’t? Not a very good one.” If someone witnessed their conversations, that person would probably believe that they hated one another. It probably looked like they wanted to strangle each other half of the time and that’s what made them so special. They were two people who stuck together through everything, despite how much they teased and joked. “For your information, I’ve been around plenty of gorgeous people since being back. Sorry to burst your bubble, but you’re not the first person to remind me about LA beauty.”

Standing outside of her brothers house, Ava looked at the front door and took a deep breath. She had mixed feelings, but now she was happy to finally see her family after all of these years away. The last time she was in LA was when she was 18 years old. Remembering her last day perfectly, all she wanted to do was leave the city for good. She couldn’t be here anymore and she had to explain that to Eric and Jack.
Knocking on the front door, it didn’t take long until Ava heard Jack’s feet run towards her. “Jack!” She exclaimed with a wide smile on her face before hugging him back. “I’m so happy to see you, sweetie.” She kissed his head before nodding. “I’ll be right here. I’m not leaving.” She watched him run upstairs before her eyes fell on her other brother. “Eric…” Her smile decreasing by the second, her eyes saddened as she looked at him. He’s been through so much and she was never there for him. Without hesitation, she approached him and wrapped her arms around his body. “I-…I’m so glad you’re okay.” She mumbled into his shoulder. Picking her head up, she looked into his blue eyes and sighed softly. “I’m so sorry… for everything.”
A lot had changed with his sister, but then again, a lot had changed about Eric as well. He wasn’t a scrawny kid, selling drugs behind the high school, who didn’t know anything except Los Angeles. Prison gave him the life experience of traveling and experience different cultures. He had left Los Angeles as a boy, but he had returned a man.
When Ava came up to him, Eric hesitantly hooked one arm around her frame in his own attempt at hugging her back. Even though she was his sister, she was gone for half of his life. They used to be so close as children and now, it felt like he was hugging a stranger. “You don’t need to apologize to me, I turned out fine.” He admitted with a shrug of his shoulders. After clearing his throat and releasing her from his grip, Eric began to shuffle to the kitchen. “You want a beer?” Lord knew that he was going to need one.

Asher smiled at his gesture, feeling comfort in their silence so she kept it lingering a bit longer. Eric knew about her son, though she didn’t have the courage to bring that subject up. Especially not right now. There were very few moments that Asher cherished and wanted to remember in her life, this was one of them. She took a look around the house, then back at how the two were positioned, her lips tugging into an amused smile. She was sprawled over all over the place, half on him, half on the couch. “Good,” she whispered, even if they were the only two in the house right now. Wrapping her arms around his neck once again, she grinned. “Now, where were we?”
Whatever they had going on between them, it was something special. Asher wasn’t just some girl you’d meet every day on the street, offer to buy her a drink, and then be gone the next day. She was a caring soul, someone who exceeded kindness to everyone that had the privilege of getting to know her. Eric knew that at the end of the day, she deserved better than him. In this moment however, she deserved nothing less than to be pleasured and shown how much he care about her. “Do you have short term memory loss or something?” He teased, matching her whispering tone. With his lips brushing over hers, Eric gripped her upper thighs in order to lay her down onto the couch. “I’ll help you remember, but you should really get that checked out.” After a quiet chuckle escaped, Eric feverishly kissed her as he pressed their bodies together, leaving no space between the two.
prescottasher:
Asher wasn’t one to lay out all her feelings on the table, this seemed like new territory for her. So the moment she felt him returning the kiss, she relaxed, not realising how tense she had been this entire time. Placing a hand on the nape of his neck, she deepened the kiss, moving closer and closer to him to the point where she had her body pressed against his. Before she could get carried away, Asher slowly broke the kiss before pressing her forehead against his. Not moving from the current position they were in, feeling comfort in it all. It might have been selfish of her to think about nobody but herself and Eric right now, but she figured she’d explain it to all of their friends and Finn some other time. After a short silence, she cleared her throat, forehead still against his. “Is Jack home?” she asked cautiously, her voice low as she looked up to meet his eyes.
At the feeling of her warmth radiate over his skin, a wave of comfort washed over him. It was a feeling that could only be expressed by actions. Words would not do justice for something that felt so natural and easy. Eric slipped an arm around her waist, his hand resting on the small of her back. When she pulled away, he ran his tongue over his lower lip, immediately wanting to kiss her again. By one kiss, Eric knew that he was addicted. Asher had become his favorite drug and he craved for more. “No.” He whispered, breath shaky and voice raspy from the nerves and emotions that surged through his body. “He won’t be home for another hour.” Eric added while gently nudging the tip of his nose against hers.
lianahunt:
“Such a shame, such a crying shame well you’ll have to settle with staring at it from afar only dreaming about touching it in the most deliciously terrible dream. Just to break your heart a little further I am incredibly flexible. I recommend a cold shower” She laughed shaking her head as the elevator jostled a bit but that was nothing to worry about. That elevator did that all the time anyways. She liked talking to Eric. She liked how the conversation always flowed, how she could tease the shit out of him and he could take it and dish it back and how the most interesting conversations; deep conversations came from those moments. She appreciated him. One day maybe she’d tell him thank you for being such a doll. Thank you for making it interesting.
Chuckling she shook her head again glancing over in his direction. “Are you going to tell me you believe in fate now - that in a round about way us randomly meeting all the time is part of some bigger scheme? Your next line should absolutely be something like ‘Liana - the cosmic balance of the universe depends on the two of us eventually sleeping together so what do you say, lets sleep together - save the world.’ I write for a living, journalist for the LA Times don’t you remember. I’ve seen it all. I wouldn’t say it’s fate but more purely coincidence LA’s a big city but we travel in similar circles. Coincidence.” Liana breathed, feeling the elevator jostle again frowning. “They really need to get this fixed”
“Consider that to be the first thing I do when I get home.” He laughed along with her until there was a jolt. Usually when an elevator jolted, a wave of concern would rush over the individuals. When he looked at Liana for a reaction, she appeared to be calm, as if this was normal. Eric decided that it was nothing to worry about. Besides, if they did end up getting stuck in an elevator, that meant more time exploring what goes on in her head. It was clear that she had a way with words that could make you stop everything you were doing just to listen.
Standing next to her as she pieced words together as if they were stars in a far off galaxy was a privilege. “But wouldn’t that be something extraordinary to write about? The readers of the LA Times would love to hear about how two strangers, drawn together by the stars in the sky, came together for one passionate night in order to save the world from destruction.” A tiny grin started to form as he spoke and by the end of his spiel, a wide smile had appeared. “I don’t usually read, but I’d pick up that newspaper.” Suddenly, there was another jolt, this time striking a bit more worry. Before Eric could respond the lights began to flash before resulting in the elevator to come to a halt. “We picked the wrong elevator.” He mumbled with a quiet chuckle, trying to make the best of the predicament they found themselves in.
halliehendrix:
“Oh looky here, someone who clearly needs to step down from their high horse. Try and take my tips from me and I’ll break open one of these empty beer bottles here and use it against you, Ripley. You may think you’re good at bartending, which sure, if it helps you sleep better at night, I’ll give it to you. But in a fight against me? The best is standing right here.” The brunette pointed out, offering up a devious smile as she pointed to herself.
“Am I sensing violence in the workplace?” Eric asked while he continued to clean a few empty glasses. “If the boss finds out about that, there won’t be anymore tips for you forever.” He shot a playful wink her way before dropping his rag onto the bar counter. “Looks like my shift is up, see you around Hendrix.” As he spoke, Eric reached into the tip jar for a handful of money then shuffled to the back room.
prescottasher:
Asher sat there, staring back at his at his sudden confession, not really knowing what to say. She never expected him return his feelings, just moments ago it felt like he was giving her reasons to not feel this way towards him. Just the way he was looking at her alone was enough to make her feel weak in the knees, even if she was sitting down. There weren’t enough words that she could say to him, or at least the right ones. Instead, she cautiously leaned in, closing the distance between them. Asher was hesitate at first, not wanting to catch him off guard, but at this point it was evident that when she was around Eric, she couldn’t help herself. Leaning in slowly, she lightly pressed her lips against his, hoping that it was enough to get her point across.
When it came to how Eric worked, actions always meant more than words. Which was why, when he felt her lips on his, he knew exactly what she was feeling. Without hesitation, he returned the kiss with a bit more force, telling her that he felt the same way. It was clear that there were feelings stronger than simply a friendship, and that could be dealt with later. In this moment, they were the only two people in the world. It didn’t matter what was going around them or how their friends would react, all that mattered was kissing her harder.

Eliza: I can keep you around for more than one reason Eric, come on.
Eliza: CLEARLY, you meant to write 100/100.
Eliza: Ok but I can still have sex when I get menopause, your dick's not gonna work???
Eliza: My sister whom I've known my entire life and is my best friend versus a guy I met like a month ago.....hmmmm let me think about that...😂
Eric: So far, I've only heard three reasons.
Eric: I know what I wrote.
Eric: Then comes in a magical blue pill that has been proven to make miracles happen.
Eric: Yeah, but that guy just happens to be me! at least give me twenty bucks?
