She paused, setting her mug down. As children, they had looked alike– now she balked at the idea of resembling Milo; he had turned out beautiful, she had only caught the edges of his shine. “Not quite,” Dakota returned, folding her hands on top of the desk before frowning at them and tucking them away under the surface. It intimidated her, the fact that this was a woman that already knew about her when she knew nothing of her, it felt almost like an unfair advantage. “You’re Finn’s sister?” This notion made her crack a smile, leaning back in her seat. The expression was shy, and she lifted a shoulder at the question. “I just moved here, I still have to meet Finn.” Dakota reached for her candy bowl, tipping it forward in a silent offer. “I never seemed to be able to make it down until now, Milo asked me to stay full time and then I found this job. It all fell into place and felt right, so I’m sticking around.”
Asher had come here for one thing but that plan was way forgotten now she had just recently learnt that this is Milo’s sister. Her rarely spoke about her, but she was never curious to ask either. Asher took a seat down and fiddled with her fingers, stealing glances at the girl. “Yeah, one of them. The twin sister.” she responded with a chuckle, forcing herself not to say that she was the eldest one. A unknown habit why she had to announce that she was ten minutes older to anyone that asked - or didn’t. “Oh, well in that case, welcome to Westbrook. Even if I am a few weeks... months...? late. You’ll like Finn, I’m sure its all Milo ever talks about. They’re happy though, which makes me happy.” Asher added, the smile never wavering from her features. “How you liking it around here so far?”
