"...Oh, an introduction."
"They call me Iceman. I'm one of the hitmen of the Port Mafia.
I don't need an ability or a special weapon to kill you, so I'd stay back and keep a distance."
(Lets say this takes place a day after the last interaction..... because its funny....)
Iceman cautiously knocks on the door to the other's room, then creaks open the door slightly.
"Lippmann? Are you still alive and awake?"
– Iceman (@the-flags-iceman)
Lippmann slowly opens the door. Dark circles under his eyes and all. He's terrible.
"...Mm." Iceman lets out a sound of acknowledgement. He places a hand on Lippmann's shoulder. "Come on. Let's get you something to eat and some water."
He looks surprised! "Are you insane? I can't be seen like this... I'm not getting out of this room until I am myself again."
Honestly, with how they reacted at the suggestion, Iceman assumed she was the insane one. "...Right. I can just bring you something here, then."
"...I'd appreciate that, thank you." He smiles, as if he didn't just lash out at Iceman..
Iceman merely nodded, saying nothing more as he went to get a few eggs that'd been made downstairs. He made sure to pour a glass of water for the blonde as well, ignoring any inquiries from the others regarding why he was taking a plate somewhere else.
It isn't long before he's in front of Lippmann's door again. He's a hasty man.
Lippmann opens the door for him again, taking a step to the side to allow Iceman to enter the room.
"Thanks,"
Iceman murmurs, entering the room. He places the plate and glass on the desk so Lippmann could eat himself if he so desired, then placed his hands in his coat semi-awkwardly.
"...You feeling alright?"
Lippmann closes the door, walking over to his desk. "Besides the crushing headache that feels like my head is going to explode... couldn't be better." He sits down and starts to eat!
"What about you?"
"You can ask me that another time." He decides to lean against the wall as he closely watches Lippmann eat. "I can ask Doc for painkillers if you want."
"But I want to know right now. Are you feeling alright?" He drinks the water. "I took one already, I should feel better soon."
Iceman only nods in response to Lippmann's inquiry. "You should be more careful. You were... a little out of it."
"Ugh, please don't tell me I did or said something stupid..." He seems to be already regretting whatever it is he may have done.
"No. Just more affectionate than usual," Iceman shrugs. "You didn't want me to leave to grab a glass of water."
"...Not as embarrassing as I was afraid of being. Though, I'd do that while sober, too." He shrugs, while finishing his breakfast.
"Honestly, if you want to be clingy while sober, go ahead. I don't mind. .....It was kind of cute on your part."
He smiles, tilting his head. "How convenient then that you're already here."
Iceman blinks rapidly. He isn't processing it. "It is?"
"Why, of course. Why leave if we can stay together for a while?"
"Oh," He nods, pushing himself off from the wall to approach them! "Sure. I'm done with my paperwork anyway."
"Good!" He walks over to Iceman, already hugging him.
Iceman returns the hug, wrapping his arms ariund Lippmann's torso. He's quiet, but clearly pleased.
He looks up, smiling and tilting their head to the side. "This is nice. Don't we look like a couple?"
He raises an eyebrow at her. "A couple of... what?"
He blinks. "A couple. Partners, you know?"
"Are we not a couple already?" It's Iceman's turn to blink. "Hm. I think I've misunderstood this relationship."
"... That's very likely. I meant it as people who are dating."
"..........I thought we were already dating."
He's. Very surprised. Also a little red on the face. "What-"
"You know... 'going on dates' and all that," Iceman shrugs, "I must have misinterpreted it. Sorry."
"Oh, it's okay, don't apologize... I just wasn't aware you saw it like that- Not that it's not what I want, but we never...talked about this, so.."
...Iceman snorts. "Are you flustered right now, Lippmann? That's not a sight I see every day."
"No- okay, maybe just a little..." He looks away. Definitely blushing. "You did just say you thought we were dating..."
"Honest mistake," He pats Lippmann's shoulder. "You want to talk about it seriously? I have time."
"I would like to."
He retracts his hand. "Alright. Tell me how you feel and what's on your mind. I won't be hurt or anything, promise."
"I just...want to make sure that this is something you want..." He looks down, messing with the hem of his shirt. Man's nervous!
"It is," Iceman takes Lippmann's hand, silently telling him not to be so fidgety. "As long as you want the same."
He nods, looking up. "I do. I... I really like you..."
He says nothing, only pressing a quick kiss to Lippmann's lips. It seems he's much more suave about this than the blond is.
He blinks, staring. Before holding Iceman's face to give him a real kiss.
Lippmann can feel the brunette smiling slightly against his lips. His rough hands fall atop the other man's; notably, they're warm.
That's enough to make Lippmann himself smile, softly brushing his thumb against Iceman's cheek.
Eventually, Iceman pulls back to look at Lippmann once more. A full smile has bloomed on his face.
"Should've expected you to be a good kisser."
(Lets say this takes place a day after the last interaction..... because its funny....)
