“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.” - Psalm 143:8
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
John 15:1-5

“But God is my King from long ago; he brings salvation on the earth. It was you who split open the sea by your power; you broke the heads of the monster in the waters. It was you who crushed the heads of Leviathan and gave it as food to the creatures of the desert. It was you who opened up springs and streams; you dried up the ever-flowing rivers. The day is yours, and yours also the night; you established the sun and moon. It was you who set all the boundaries of the earth; you made both summer and winter.” Psalm 74:12-17
God is Love. He is also mighty and holy and righteous, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords who has strength we can’t comprehend and will never have. This Psalm starts off with the writer crying out to God and essentially asking for Him to move in the midst of their problem. But even as the writer wonders how long God will stay “silent”, they recall that God is the King of all, mighty to save, and in control of everything.
So what problems are you facing? Big or small, God is in control and He has the power to not only take care of the problem but to take care of YOU in the midst of it. Troubles will always come, whether you have chosen to follow God’s leading or not. But no matter what you’re going through, I’d encourage you to lean on God and the salvation that He has given freely for all through Christ, so that you can walk through whatever you are facing with His abundant joy.

"He must become greater; I must become less."
John 3:30
"If the Lord had not been on our side when people attacked us, they would have swallowed us alive when their anger flared against us; the flood would have engulfed us, the torrent would have swept over us, the raging waters would have swept us away." Psalm 124:2-5
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6
"You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; My God turns my darkness into light." Psalm 18:28
"Praise the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, you are very great; you are clothed with splendor and majesty. He wraps himself in light as with a garment; He stretches out the heavens like a tent and lays the beams of His upper chambers on their waters. He makes the clouds His chariot and rides on the wings of the wind." Psalm 104:1-3
" As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust. As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower of the field; the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD's love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children's children." Psalm 103:13-17
"Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge. I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing." ...I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me... Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me." Psalm 16: 1-2, 7, 9-10a
"Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely He will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge." Psalm 91: 1-4a

"When the earth and all its people quake, it is I [God] who hold its pillars firm." Psalm 75:3
Come to Me - inspired by Matthew 11:28 (NIV)
"All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
