If you've been around awhile, you may remember that Pre House of Hedge days, this blog would often feature snippets of Hypnosis/Mind Control related media, often with some thoughts about said clip, Hypnokink, or media in general. There were a few clips that I had planned on posting but, due to various factors, I never got around to doing so. This is one of those clips.
It's from a TV show that completely went under my radar while it aired called, The Outpost. It was your standard budget Fantasy/Adventure show that aired on the CW. The show had a fair amount of mind control, including this scene, which I adore because of the blissful smile that Imogen Waterhouse has after she's been corrupted. There's just something about mind control making the subject (especially one who resisted) happy to be mind controlled incredibly erotic. This specific scene is from the end of Season 3, Episode 3. The show is available to watch for free on various platforms.
In a previous post I explained that in middle school I happened to catch an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer that featured a love spell and because I was so fixated on consuming any media with mind control, I continued watching it to the point where it became one of my favorite TV shows at the time. Watching television shows or movies because of my hypnokink is something that would continue over the years. I consumed an obscene amount of The Vampire, The Vampire Diaries, all of Alphas, and more because of the mind control elements. I remember feeling like I just couldn't get enough. There was this unbridled excitement that would compel me to seek out more and more until I had found it all.
That rarely happens these days. Is it the fact that, unlike in middle school, I have ease of access to the internet, where a simple Google search or trip to the Mcforum can lead to almost every instance of mind control in mainstream TV/Film? Is it that at this point I've seen so many amazing examples of this content that it's just not as exciting as it used to be? Could it be that I've now written and produced my own hypnokink content and my "hunger" is satiated? My best guess is that it's all of the above. Maybe one day the FOMO will subside, and I'll take a prolonged break from Tumblr, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Discord, and all the other venues where I casually consume hypnokink content and my brain will reset to the point where I feel the level of enthusiasm that I once did whenever I saw new Hypnosis/Mind control related content.
