art block is killing me rn but I need everyone who knows of my Jekyll n Hyde interpretation to like. know how I envision the Hydes

Awake Hyde, the one that's truely just Jekyll, is described similar to the original story- short (not "DWARF-ISH" like the novel says, but short compared to Jekyll who is very tall), bit scraggly looking, easy to hate on

then Dream Hyde is more of how Hyde is misrepresented- huge, even MORE disheveled, looking inhuman. He's got a big ass coat (which eventually Jekyll will copy that on his Hyde).

However, Dream Hyde is aware of his own existance not being real, he's aware he's just the result of Jekyll trying to believe Hyde is not him- and he'll TELLLLL Jekyll that too. He'll remind Jekyll that he has no reality outside of the dreams and nightmares, and that the real Hyde is truely just good ol' J man himself.

... did any of that make sense

okay. okayy. Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde interp right. right. but its a mix of the whole "they're one guy" and "they're seperate guys but one body" thing. Jekyll and Hyde are one guy, but Hyde is just a different look and name for Jekyll to disguise himself as.. BUT. BUT!!!! WHEN JEKYLL IS ASLEEP AND DREAMING, HYDE APPEARS IN HIS DREAMS AS SEPERATE!!! DO WE SEE THE VISION?? Jekyll tries to mentally disconnect himself from Hyde so bad that in his dream, Hyde is his own evil guy. But when Jekyll is awake and becomes Hyde, its still just... Jekyll acting on his evil ideas. I'm not cooking I am burning the house down to a crisp-
