new hyperfixation just dropped! the personality disorder is strong in this one. took me a minute to figure out how to combine the game's style with mine, but i think it turned out ok.
first procreate project. i LOVE these textured brushes, bgs and screen tones are alot easier.

notes: im well aware of the grace situation, and i have many thoughts on it. may post my take on it. for now, im going to post this anyway because i drew it a week ago and i really like it.
im keeping the grace purgatory au lawrence is made to be a part of, im just gonna do whatever i want with it now. i consider it transformative content because it's canon-divergent, with the sinner being confirmed to be alive during the events of the game.

could have sworn i posted these. lawrence is getting a slight rework. by that i mean his backstory mostly, but also im making him less of a woobie.
slight and heed represent addiction and expediency.
lawrence was a sheltered, nerdy guy locked in on his studies. he had everything going for him. he was well on his way to graduate med school, but cracked under pressure and cheated on his final written exams. he was thrown out and never got his diploma. this caused him to snap and become addicted to the thrill of committing petty crimes. in the act one day, he pissed off the wrong guys and got shot in the back of his skull, dead before he hit the ground.
he had a period of strength during his time in reprieve, but it was all surface-level. the mean mug he'd developed faded quick, eroding into a panicked, pained expression constantly on the verge of tears. when he was dropped into grace, his eyes were replaced for both of his transgressions. his mission seemed simple: get his eyes back. that was it, right?
he refuses to take off his coat despite frequent overheating, feeling too exposed when he does. after meeting fellow sinners and realizing how much of a burden he is with his constant fear, he rips off the coat and sets it alight...
it's a bunch of oc lore i made with mutuals don't mind me lolol.
