could have sworn i posted these. lawrence is getting a slight rework. by that i mean his backstory mostly, but also im making him less of a woobie.

slight and heed represent addiction and expediency.

lawrence was a sheltered, nerdy guy locked in on his studies. he had everything going for him. he was well on his way to graduate med school, but cracked under pressure and cheated on his final written exams. he was thrown out and never got his diploma. this caused him to snap and become addicted to the thrill of committing petty crimes. in the act one day, he pissed off the wrong guys and got shot in the back of his skull, dead before he hit the ground.

he had a period of strength during his time in reprieve, but it was all surface-level. the mean mug he'd developed faded quick, eroding into a panicked, pained expression constantly on the verge of tears. when he was dropped into grace, his eyes were replaced for both of his transgressions. his mission seemed simple: get his eyes back. that was it, right?

he refuses to take off his coat despite frequent overheating, feeling too exposed when he does. after meeting fellow sinners and realizing how much of a burden he is with his constant fear, he rips off the coat and sets it alight...

it's a bunch of oc lore i made with mutuals don't mind me lolol.

Hello everyone!

I apologize for the radio silence. I have been getting set up in my new apartment, training at my new job, and waiting for a couple things to arrive before i could set up the pc. I'm happy to say I was finally able to set my pc up and can begin editing!

Originally, I planned to work on Issue #1 January through February and have it done by either the end of Feb or the beginning of March. However, those obstacles may make me push back the release dates by another month, which would mean Issue #1 releases in late March/early April.

The entirety of the dub will definitely be complete before 2027. Editing is a solo project done on my own time completely for fun. If I need more time, I will let you all know, but for now, expect Issue #1's release sometime in March of this year.

UPDATE FOR DECEMBER

Happy 2026, hope the holidays went well! I'm very happy to announce the recordings are just a few lines short of being complete! Editing will begin in mid-January once I have all my equipment set up at my new place.

It's all coming together, guys.

feels good to finally have everything recorded! i remember wanting to begin this august of 2024 but then i kept pushing back the start date. im so grateful for the people who helped make this dub possible.

editing will begin in either mid january or february, depending how long it takes me to move into my new place. it'll definitely all be done before 2027 and the blog will be much more active with updates and sneak peeks now during the editing process!
