I was rereading Gravity Falls’ Lost Legends comic book when I had a horrible realization.

Stan and Ford are having an argument when there’s this moment:

And while at first it’s funny I remembered that Stan was there for the twin’s birth. There’s no way that Stan didn’t learn Dipper’s real name but then I remembered that this story takes place after Weirdmaggedon.

Stan doesn’t know Dipper’s real name because he doesn’t remember!

The worst part is Ford (though probably unintentionally) is using Stan’s spotty memory to win the argument.
