Grief has been using up most of my energy.

I am scared, I am mourning and my ability to self sooth has fled me. Riding today didn’t solve those problems like the small child in me hoped it would. But, I hope it has tired me out enough for a few minutes of calm.

A very rare not bikes day. Riding plans thwarted by my inability to keep an appropriate bed time, but coffee with the kid is a solid consolation prize. Heading a little west tomorrow to test how cold my feet can get before I cry.
