العوجا..ترجع هذه التسمية لأيام الشيخ محمد بن عبدالوهاب ودعوته الاصلاحية حينما دعا الشيخ محمد بن عبد الوهاب دعوته السلفية فقالوا انها دعوة عوجاء، فجاء الأمام محمد بن سعود رحمه الله و أيد دعوته و قال “حنا اهل العوجاء” ليثبتوا الدعوة و يبينوا انهم مساندين لها و تحقيقا للمتابعة المخلصة و إشارة يردون بها على المكذبين و المعاندين و المعارضين بأنكم سوف تعلمون غدا حقيقة هذه الدعوة العوجاء بزعمكم حينما يظهرها الله و ينصرها و يمكن لها في الارض.
