"I’m not getting any part. You’re not in control here." Pepper pulled up her skirt and sat across his midsection. "You’re not going anywhere. At least, not until you’re begging."
"Like a little whore like you could make me beg!" he spat.
Duncan parked in the car park and got out, “The spa is on the 3rd floor, great view of the grounds.”
"I’m looking forward to it. I wouldn’t want to be tense during our wedding." She looked at her ring. "I still can’t believe it, Duncan. I love you so much and I can’t wait to call you my husband."
"Nor I you my wife." he smiled, taking her hand and leading her up to the spa.

He laughed as she made a face, she was entertaining, and a random woman he had the pleasure of training in the art of piracy, “Let’s do that, should hold some interesting results.”
"Great. Shall we? I’d guess any sort of archive would be in the centre of town."
"Center of town? You’d be right about that… though the center of town is usual your epicenter for town rumors, events and whatnot. Perfect for pirates looking for easy tips about the town.
"You get rumours, I’ll get books?" she suggested.
"Sounds like a good idea, hopefully our presence and question don’t ring any unnecessary bells." He began to walk toward the town square, hands in his pockets. "Two hours. Then we meet back here. Understood?"
"Got it." she nodded and headed off to see what she could find out.

"I would say it is because of the job, but I have just as hard of a time. Und I do not care about gender. Been with aliens und men und frualeins but.." Sighing he shook his head fiddling with the bottle. "Hard to find love."
"I hear ya. Haven’t tried alien, but human, mutant, man or woman it just doesn’t seem to click."
"Hm, I would say demons but they are heart breakers that use people most times." Smirking over at him he chuckled. "Aliens… it depends. Shi’ar I would say be tentative around simply because they can be quite.. bold." Chuckling he shook his head.
"Bold? How so?" he chuckled. "I like bold."
"Well, I barely knew her und ended up against a wall rather quickly with her. She was kind too."
"Sounds like a good time." he grinned.
"Oh ja I suppose, but I do want more then simply that from a relationship. Even more so with mein line of work."
"Well, yeah, me too...but if the opportunity should present itself before I find that..." he shrugged.

"It was just another agent." She shook her head, running a hand through his hair. "It’s not a big deal."
"Who do I have to hit?"
"No one." She mumbled, hugging him tentatively.
"Are you sure?"
"It was just some idiot in communications, it’s nothing." Jess shook her head. "He was just talking and saying how you obviously didn’t love me.." She said quietly.
"How is it obvious?"
"I don’t know, Duncan. Ask him, not me." She shook her head.
"Alright, I will." he grumbled.

"In small town like this? With a haunted manor at the center of it? I not see why there wouldn’t be a couple of scrolls scattered around the place. We just gotta ask around, of course, we could just ask your newest friend at the bar over there." He chuckled.

Duncan arrived shortly after Kurt and quickly found him, grabbing the seat next to him. “Hey, you made it. Good. How have you been?” he asked with a smile.
"I am quite gute." Tail flicked and smiled over at him chuckling lightly. "Of course I made it why would I not?" He mused adjusting where he was sitting taking a swing of his drink as he did so.
"Never know, something might come up." Duncan shrugged as he ordered a beer, "What are you drinking tonight, Kurt?"
"Closest thing they have to German beer." He mused looking over at him a faint smirk on his face. "I would not be so rude as you stand you up, I would at least call or text."
Duncan nodded and ordered for them. “That’s very polite of you, I wish my ex-boyfriend had those manners.” he chuckled.
Kurt looked over to him and smirked. “That is why he is your ex.” he pointed like it was common sense and winked at him. “I mean could be worse ja?”
"It could be, indeed." Duncan nodded. "Just seems like finding a decent partner is more difficult than it should be, you know?"
