“Interesting. you’ve branched out quite a bit here. The surroundings are basic but large. This is way I’m traveling around, looking for landmarks to become more familiar with the areas.”
He rolled his eyes at the mention of the Borgia flag towers. “The Borgia’s a rather uptight with the area’s they control. They will attach anyone they don’t recognise. it’s strange or perhaps i’m just hard to miss.” He stated. referring to his robes and dark skin color.
"Ezio was nice enough to help us with the development. Although, I do have to admit that I miss our old digs. It felt more homely than this, but.. You have to move onwards and upwards"
Volpe allowed a gentle, uncharacteristic smile to appear on her face "It helps if you have some of the apprentices on your side. Ezio and his sister survive quite well that way." Glancing him over, Volpe shrugged her shoulders "The Borgia's pick on anyone they see fit."
“I suppose I can understand that. Deals made in shadows earn the paranoia which night totes under it’s canvas.” Emma nodded her head, and made a thankful gesture with her hand, touching her fingers against her forehead, then brushing them forward as one might when bowing. “Morgan, then.” A surname should do just fine then, yes? Besides, it wasn’t as if this woman would know the woman’s standing even if she gave the full monty. “But I hope in time you’ll adjust to the initial.”
When she said that she didn’t have to whisper, Emma raised her brows, and smiled slightly, dropping her shoulders and slanting her head. “Force of habit, you’ll forgive my uncertainties.”
"We deal in the dark because the light holds much more, much more that we as Thieves cannot hold." Volpe's head tilted slightly, a patronizing smirk sitting upon her face. This woman obviously didn't have much idea as to how she ran "Morgan, you say? You obviously listen to the myths, Emma. I know everything about everyone that comes into this city." A pale hand lifted, as if to be telling the younger looking female to follow her, and with it, Volpe began to walk towards the back of the Inn "Have you come here to learn? Unfortunately, I have nothing to do with the Brotherhood at the moment. Myself and Messer Machiavelli are.. at odds."
Volpe's shoulders lifted as she stepped over the broken Chicken fence "Just do not make it often. Trust me, I know how to survive here."
“I hunt for knowledge, and study. Not for pelts, signorina.” The Englishwoman defended, taking inventory of the hired swords with some disinterest. She had been up against worse. With her eyes still averted to begin, she replied. “I haven’t a true name. I go merely by M. I think that should suffice for our regards.” She met the violet gaze again, and lowered her voice just enough so that it wouldn’t be caught by interested ears in the crowd. ”Would you like to be called La Volpe, then?”
"In times like this, Donna. We do not know who to trust" Volpe's sense of distrust grew at the mention of her name. If she hadn't a true name, was she someone that she could trust? The red head's brow raised "If you are looking for help from me, Signorina. I'm afraid I will need some name to call you" Her arms folded tightly across her chest, before she laughed. The laugh was unusual and almost childlike for the Master Thief "You do not have to hide your voice around here. We all know who I am."
“No, I wasn’t looking for him.” He looked at the building in front of him. “If I wish to help him, I figured it’s best to get to know my surrounding first. What purpuse does this building have?” He asked looking at her.
"A headquarters of The Thieves Guild. We have a few, this is our main." Volpe's eyes rolled innocently slightly "Your surroundings are basic. The large towers that have Borgia flags on it are a no go."
Thanks to the-sleeping-fox for the follow! :3
NO PROBLEM :D
Glancing at the group of people in front of her, Volpe gave a short nod before looking down towards the floor. "Do you need something? "
He wasn’t to surprised to see someone come out of the shadows. “Adventuring you could say. Have I entered a particular bad area?”
"I wouldn't say particularly bad." Resting her hand upon her companies shoulder and turning him, Volpe smiled slightly "Welcome to La Volpe Addormentata. If you're here to see Ezio, He's just left."
Emma turned the apple in her hands, eyeing the woman, and quickly recognizing the tell of identity, from what rumours she had heard. “Fox hunting.” She replied curtly, before taking a bite from the fruit in her hand, and slanting her head. “Rumour has it there is a den nearby for a particularly stealthy fiend.”
The red head tilted her head slightly, and motioned towards the back of the inn "All foxes here are protected by the Thieves Guild" The sarcasm dripping from her voice. Volpe waved her hand slightly to the Mercinaries around them, before smiling "Your name?"
“Am I distracting you?”
