We were placed in the group of death for the second year in a row.

We scraped through that group by the skin of our teeth.

Everyone said we’d lose to BVB.

Everyone said we’d lose to City.

Even getting to the semi final was an amazing achievement. And to have been seconds away from being knocked out in that Semi final we some how managed to get through.

We were never meant to get to the final. That wasn’t our destiny but here we are, somehow in the Champions League final. Winning would’ve been a dream for a team who hasn’t made a single signing for two consecutive transfer windows.

Liverpool have been a much better team than us all season and we knew it was a huge ask to win it. But getting here, getting to this final was a huge step in our story. This isn’t the end.
