There shouldn't be anyone telling others to harm themselves for writing stories over FICTIONAL characters.

Just as authors should be tagging their fics with all appropriate trigger tags, you as readers need to start taking control over your online experience.

i’ve seen a friend go into a psych episode because they heard one goddamn word in a song. your TAGS can ALSO do that to someone. “oh just block the tag” imagine this: a rape victim, completely unaware of the fact that some fucked up little 15yr olds are writing rape fics about their traumas in very well known fandom that they really like, just scrolling on this app and then randomly stumbles on a rape fic. what do you think happens? you sit here and say “oh but some people use it to cope” and they should get therapy. you don’t give a fuck about REAL victims.
