cocky-connor-odonoghue:
Connor grimaced. “Yeah, she does this thing where she starts off on a perfectly innocent topic. And then it dissolves into the things she’d like ta do ta Gabriel or Alfie. It’s just not things I need ta hear.” Connor shuddered as he got out of his chair. She was actually lucky to find him. Usually if it wasn’t school hours he was in his office by the music room. But he had been working on a few recipes when Selena had interrupted him. When she said she wanted to cook he smiled. ‘I knew there was a reason yer one o’ me favorite students.” He came around the desk. “Gimme a mo’.” He cleared his throat and headed over to the students. “Oi, clear out. Ye know high schoolers ain’t allowed in here after hours.” He waved his arms in the direction of the door. “Come on, move out, ye’ve done enough dam-Íosa Críost!! What the fuck did you brats.. I’m fuckin’ dockin’ ye marks on this shite, Simmons!!” He yelled as the last kid headed out the door, leaving a scorched mess behind.
He sighed and came back to Thea and his locked cabinet. “Well, the kitchen’s yers now, but avoid station three. It’s gonna take me a bit ta clean.” He grabbed cleaning supplies and headed to the aforementioned disaster zone, assuming she’d probably pick a station close. “So what are ye plannin’ on makin’, m’dear?”
Thea actually laughed; it wasn't as if she didn't agree with Selena on stuff like that. The teachers at Morgana were almost criminally attractive for no good reason, in her opinion. Maybe it was just something about the mutant gene that did it. "Well let her know if she ever needs someone to talk about any of that shit with, I'm her girl." She nodded and patted her chest to indicate herself, pausing to watch as he made his way over to the students. She could have told them to leave herself but they looked like they were having fun and she hadn't particularly wanted to ruin that for them -- apparently things had gotten a little more destructive than she assumed on her way past. A smirk rose on her face at his annoyance and she observed with folded arms as he gathered cleaning supplies, nodding as she moved to set herself up at a station just one away from number three. "Maybe you should have just let them burn the thing out, might have been able to get some funding for new equipment earlier."
"I'm...not sure." Thea drummed her fingers on the counter top, eyes scanning the room as if an answer to what she should make would suddenly spring from thin air. "Didn't get further than seeing if anywhere was free. What would you suggest, O wise professor?"
