- I'm signing up for the open this year! This will be the beginning of a long line of competitions for me.. I'm a little competitive. -I've had my first full week back at crossfit and although my body is incredibly sore I am so happy to be back into it. The new box is so pretty all new equipment, it's like having fresh sheets on your bed 😊 -I've been counting my macros this week again. I'm not going as hard out as I did the last time I did it but I sort of just needed some guiding and a bit of a reality check. It's one thing to know heaps about nutrition but when you choose to ignore all that knowledge and eat what you want it can get a little out of control. My food addiction is slowly but surely getting better and I feel like I have a lot more control these days. -I just sneezed and my abs hurt. Good sign. -I'm heading away this weekend to celebrate Australia day with some friends.. it's crossed with a going away party for some very good chums so I expect it will get a little messy. - happy Sunday yall!

Ugly Fruit

The idea came from the fact that US markets toss out 15 billion dollars worth of fruits and vegetables each year just because they are bruised or discolored. But they are still fresh and edible. I felt there was an opportunity to stop the waste, so Ugly Fruit was born. Ugly Fruit is a stand that makes juice, jams, and dried fruits out of unattractive produce donated from our neighborhood grocery stores. Ugly fruit, pretty yummy!

It's pancake Monday again. The best cure for those Monday blues. Today's is pumpkin, banana and cinnamon pancakes with grilled nectarines, blueberries and coconut chips. So effing good!
