What’s the ingredient to good sex?
Love
Ain’t no peace when avoiding life but sure there’s peace when avoiding people

‘They insulted me in seventy lines and only the spelling mistakes bothered me’
May 2022
I sent you an anonymous “ask” venting about a shitty ending to a 3 year situationship, and you responded and the sentence that was stuck with me this whole time was “darling that's the whole idea, of not finding another one like him.” “ It took 3 years for you to learn the lesson, don't forget it in a couple of days.” I don’t except you to remember this but all i want to say is that im thankful for your response and it’s with me till this day. I was genuinely hurt and in pain that day and your response felt like a pat on the back.
Hey, i actually remember it. Im glad it opened your eyes and im glad i somehow could be there. Hope you’re doing better now. Take care.
"I have just so much logic, as to be able to see ... that for me to be too good for you, and for you to be too good for me, cannot be true at once, both ways."
— Elizabeth Barret, in a letter to Robert Browning.
57: do you believe in true love?
62: what makes you happy?
69: do you believe in soulmates?
70: is there anyone you would die for?
True love? Why true love? And not just, love? Does it mean that believing in just love is believing in a lie cuz it might not be true? You know it’s funny how there’s just one word for the concept in English but for example the Greeks have multiple forms of love with different words. Funny how i read this in a reddit post but anyways. So there’s that passionate love (eros), that exiting feeling when you’re young and dumb and the harder it hits you the faster it goes away. If you do still make it out of that one together you drift into that selfless, unconditional love without the expectation of reciprocation (agape). If you find your way through agape you tend to prioritize the other person’s wellbeing before yours. If both at the same page that will lead you into (philia), a stronger deeper bond which gives stability to both of you when things get rough. A type of platonic love, or affection between equals. Then they had (storge) familial love and familial bonds. And then (philautia) which is self love or self acceptance. If you think about it everything will actually start when you are a child. Depending on the familial love you have or what they’ve given to you which will affect the way you see yourself, so you self love and your self acceptance will change depending of that. Which will later affect your eros and your capacity to love, choose to love or suffer. The thing is true love is not a feeling, its a choice.
What makes me happy? It’s been a while that i thought about happiness. You see happiness doesn’t last, it never will. It’s never been about that. It’s about the capacity to be there at the same time when happiness is. And that moment can be everything, and nothing. Depending on your lifestyle it changes, also changes your capacity of seeing those moments. Hugging your mother every time id get the chance but now i can only so that once a year. I remember finishing a book, or just reading a quote that would make me jealous for not writing it, finishing a poem after hours of writing and now Ive lost both of those. We always complicate it into thinking that happiness itself like a period you experience in life when actually its not.
Do i believe in soulmates? Funny how this question has the 69 number lol. I believe that once again we have it twisted. We’re always looking for a soulmate instead of being the soulmate. Which takes me back to that self love and self acceptance i was talking about earlier. Working on ourselves is the main priority. Loving ourselves is the main priority. Accepting ourselves is the main priority. That’s when the journey begins. You can’t be a soulmate to someone if you’re not a soulmate. If you’re a selfish narcissistic asshole you’re not going to be a soulmate, you’re going to be a reason not to believe in a soulmate. If you don’t know or don’t want to know the parts of yourself you won’t ever allow someone else to go there and you’ll project insecurities into them eventually ruining everything. True love and soulmates go together. It’s a choice that leads you there.
Is there anyone i would die for? Ill keep it short with this one and it’s probably the same answer that all of us would give and that’s family without any doubts.
