A long time...
It has been a long time since I have posted on tumblr. I uninstalled FB and IG for now. I have been doing it more and more so for right now I am done. I keep comparing myself to others and that's not healthy. I need time to myself and for Cleve. So I'm trying to say bye to things that don't bring me happiness.
Ok yall.... * ** I struggle with some MAJOR body image issues. You have seen me work out like crazy, post my meals, and trying to stay motivated. You have heard when I am down and don't know what to do, but even when I am in a period of motivation...and I "look my best" I always tell myself I am too fat or I should have lost more or I am not doing well enough. * ** I have been sick almost all school year so I haven't really been working out and I haven't been eating well (just being honest) and yesterday I went to get a swimsuit for an upcoming trip. I didn't feel confident in my purchase because I don't feel comfortable showing skin (my belly, back, arms...). I didn't try it on; I just brought it home to contemplate. This morning I got up to try it on and I loved the look of it, but not the way it looked on me. Then I had a realization... * ** I could work out every day for hours, I could eat salads for every meal, I could do many things. However, if I DON'T love myself the way I am now I will not love myself later. If I am not my number one supporter now, I will always find something wrong with my progress later. * ** This is a start to a new journey. Y'all...I have been having some serious skin issues. I thought my rosacea was hitting again, thought it was my diet, etc. I went to get some more First Aid Beauty stuff for my face and within a day the redness and bumps are gone.
