I may be somewhat naked
But at least I’m wearing the wind
I wonder how many songs people have almost sent me but not for fear of how loudly it would speak about their frame of mind.
Maybe art is about embracing your pain
i just want to sit in front of the ocean for a little while
Some songs are coloured by certain people, and that hue becomes then an ever precious piece in the rainbow of your life
Sometimes love is doing things for others at the sake of yourself
there are so many friends I want to kiss, for simply being themselves
I feel like nothing has happened to me recently. And I realise now that that’s somehow worse than bad things. Maybe.
On the Pulse of Morning By Maya Angelou
Quotes that genuinely make me cry:
"I want to be good. I can't bear the thought of my soul being hideous." - Oscar Wilde
"I loved you completely. And you loved me the same. That's all. The rest is confetti." - The Haunting of Hill House
"I'm hungry and hollow and just want someone to call my own." - Richard Siken
“When I looked around, I saw and heard of none like me. Was I then a monster?” - Mary Shelley, Frankenstein
"In my head I do everything right." - Lorde, Supercut
"The powerful play goes on and on, and you may contribute a verse." - John Keating, Dead Poets Society
"I am in the mood to dissolve into the sky." - Virginia Woolf
Imagine not reinventing yourself with each piece of writing you read
