Good Bye.

I’m 20, it’s time to retire from One direction and Tumblr. A couple weeks ago I attempted suicide. I’m pulling out of uni and my life is being controlled by my eating disorder and severe depression. There aren’t a lot of you but, I still feel the need to say goodbye from this account because One Direction was a thing that consumed my life for a period of time and now its time to end that chapter and start a new one. I’m only just exploring who I am and what I like. Also I am not capable of running this account at the same time as having serve mental illnesses, I am in the process of recovery and it’s really fucking hard. If you’re wondering why I’m even writing this the answer is because I’m selfish and i need to say goodbye, i need to write this letter for myself as closure i suppose. Also my opinion on Larry is that they had a great relationship but, they weren't strong enough and ended it, the Psychic Twins confirmed it in a video and that was kind of it for me, it wasn’t sudden like it sounds, I had been drifting away for a long time.

The Last 48 Hours

I just think the way the last 24 hours has unfolded in the media is interesting:

18 May: A new song is registered under Harry’s name, “Little Boat”

18 May: The Irish Independent writes a story rehashing the Johnny McDaid quotes about Harry writing a lot in the last 3 years

18 May: Louis & Danielle are papped on a yacht in the middle of the fucking Pacific Ocean darn the bad luck

18 May: Louis & Danielle leave Cabo in the afternoon

19 May: Harry is papped having dinner with Christopher Nolan on the set of Dunkirk

19 May: Louis & Briana are papped exchanging Freddie in a Calabasas Starbucks parking lot

20 May: The pictures of Louis & Briana exchanging Freddie in a Calabas parking lot are published

20 May: Other press outlets including the BBC, Daily Mail and Sun pick up the Johnny McDaid story after a full day has passed

In the days around the Hell Yacht, Harry had 4 songs registered on ASCAP listing him as “solo performer.” This was done on 29 December 2015.

Days later, on 11 January, they were updated and he was no longer listed as the “solo performer” and just as a writer, but the articles were already published to coincide with the Jeff pics from the Yacht to heavily imply Harry was going solo. The 4 songs that were registered with Harry as the “solo performer” were co-written with guess who!

And yet, here we are 5 months later, and no solo Harry announcement. In fact, they’re trying to push the solo Harry narrative again using Johnny McDaid who was a part of the push back in December and that turned out to be nothing, too. They added the Steal My Girl writer as someone who also knows nothing but thinks Harry would be a great solo artist.

All this to say it feels awfully familiar in character, tone and timeline. Bonus points for the Harry & Louis tandem press push.

going through several artists’ art tags I sometimes feel so sad cause there are people who put in time and effort and love to create something beautiful - yet there’s so many pieces of art that only get very few notes - sometimes not even more than 1 or 2 or 3. often those are “only” likes… so… there’s two things I wanna say:

1) if you create art, don’t feel bad about wanting for it to be seen. absolutely feel free to send me links to your art. I can’t promise that I’ll reblog everything - but I often do. so… honestly, just feel absolutely free to send me your stuff. also check out @1d-fanart - they reblog so much 1D fanart, it’s beautiful. great platform.

2) if you see art and you like it, feel free to like it, but also reblog it to give other people the chance to see it as well. I promise the fanartists will be very thankful for that. and if you’re feeling really nice, take your time to add comments in your tags when you reblog it. experienced it often, that artists check out the tags on the reblogs and seeing nice comments will make their day and motivate them to create more.
