As always my writing isn’t edited, I’m an author outside of here and busy. Elliot is dark haired and gruff. Austin, is blonde with long hair. Both above 6’2.
Daddy sighs, “I see, little one but you need your sleep.”
“Nuh uh. Not without Dada.”
I’m already in bed. Well, halfway, I’m sitting against the headboard holding strawberry. I wanna sleep but I can’t without both my daddies. And dadas been at work alllll day. S’not fair. I miss him.
“He’ll be home soon. I’ll send him up to say goodnight to you, even if you’re sleeping.”
“Nooo.”
“Baby, please. You’ve had a long day.”
He’s right I’m absolutely exhausted but I’m still not sleeping.
In that moment I hear the door unlock. Daddy must have too since his head flips fast towards our bedroom door. Protective mode.
“Dadaaaa.” I yell out. “Seems he’s home yeah?”
I get excited knowing both my daddy’s are home now. It lets me sink into my little side easier.
“Did I hear my name?” Dada walks in and I bolt from the bed. Daddy tries to catch me but fails.
“Omph, aren’t you supposed to be asleep, little one? It’s late and your little brain needs the rest for your long day tomorrow.” He gets down to my level.
“Couldn’t sleep without you. Was long day today, went to park, daddy made me nap then I saw a dog! Then blah blah-.”
“Alright, time for you to get back into bed.”
“But you just got home.” I put my sad baby face on. “And I’ll be here with you all night, you know this.” He lays me back down into the bed and tucks me in, backing up for daddy to kiss my forehead. “Here’s strawberry.” Then the lamp light is out. I whine a little not wanting the night to end but knowing I’m exhausted. “Night night.”
“Night night little one.” I feel a hand rubbing my hair as I fight back all the urges to continue babbling. And when daddy puts my soft blankie on my face, I’m out.
“You need it.” Daddy says, raising his eyebrow at me. Supposed to be nap time but why?
“Nuh uh! You needs it.” I point to him sleepily from the bed. It’s dada’s turn to supposedly put me to bed. Not happening, I don’t wanna nap today.
“No, little ones do. Please close your eyes and try for me.” I squint at him. “What if Daddy gets in bed with you?” I nod at that. Both of them always made everything better. He gives dada a look but climbs in anyway. “You’re both lucky I love you.” “Yay!!”
“Shh.” He says kissing my cheek and motioning for my eyes to close. I grumble but listen. Closing them and letting some of the noise from the fan wash over me.
-
I blink to see the room is darker than before. Both sides of me feel heavy, usually I wake up alone or with either one of them in our bedroom chair. I sit up and see both of them asleep. A lot runs through my mind that I can do while daddies are sleeping. But can I make it out of the room, they have fast reflexes with me.
Eventually, I convinced myself to get up. Crawling forward off the bed instead of climbing over one of them. Silently opening the door and closing it so I can go downstairs.
I see cuddles, my elephant laying there and run to him.
“Daddies are sleeping so we play! Hungry first tho.”
Once my strawberries are in my bowl, I go to my coloring area to finish my page I was trying to finish earlier. Until I was dragged to nap time.
“What color do we do the planet?” I ask him but he doesn’t truly answer but to me he says purple.
“Purple planet it is!”
Wait. We need TV. I grab the remote and thankfully cartoons were still on.
-
A little while later I hear the door open and a frantic daddy comes downstairs followed by dada. They just stand at the bottom of the stairs.
“You okay?”
“Yeaha! Me and cuddles been coloring and eating strawberries. Bluey is even on!”
They both let out a sigh. Then walk to me.
“Hey, little one?” I turn to them both. “Can you wake one of us next time please, we were worried about you.”
“Why?”
“Someone could’ve broken in and taken you while you were down here alone. What if you tripped down the stairs? Hurt yourself cutting strawberries?” I didn’t cut the strawberries but his point hits my little head and I frown. Daddies are scared. They always protect me when I’m scared. So it’s my turn. “I’s okay.” I give them both a hug and a kiss on the cheek. “Sorries I scared you. You can join the fun party next time.” “Thank you, little one. Can you repeat what I’ve said to you, though?” “I will wakes you both up next time.” “Thank you.”
Then another hug where they sigh deep. Then they laugh making me confused. “Daddies were truly the sleepy ones there, huh?” “Yep! Sleepies.”
“Never happens, right.”
“Unless you come home from work.”
“That’s right, smart princess.”
“I is smarts!”
“Indeed you are. Let’s see what we can make for dinner, huh? I’m hungry. I’m sure you are too with only strawberries.”
“Yeah!”
They both lead me to the kitchen where their eyes never leave me.
“Very smart , baby, Oh, that marker is cold.” I tilt my head at him in confusion.
“The tip of that marker felt cold.” He chuckles. Ohh. Still don’t get it. I look at the markers laying on the ground next to me and dada. Maybe I’ll make this bird red for Daddy.
“Wow, that arm is going to be a masterpiece.” I hear daddy’s voice behind me and jump. He was supposed to be at work! “Sorry, darling.”He brushes my hair as he walks by and kisses daddy. “Gross!” They both laugh as daddy drops off his stuff upstairs.
“How many tattoos do you have?”
“A lot. Too much for your pretty little head to count.”
“That’s lots! Not hurt?”
“Some of them hurt. The one you’re coloring right now was probably the most painful.” Oh.
“Doesn’t hurt now baby, you’re okay. A tattoo is a needle through the skin.” HUH? He must laugh at the horror on my face now. “I never wants one.” “Never?” “Ever.”
“What are we never evering over here?” Daddy joins us now in his comfy clothes.
“I NEVER wants a tattoo.”
“Then you don’t ever have to get one, sweet thing. Yeah?”
“Yeah.” I mumble coloring in another tattoo. Then an idea hits. I turned to daddy with puppy eyes. He sighs. “You want to do mine next?” They’re much more smaller than dada’s but there’s more in one area. Blink. He puts his thinking face on.
“Daddddddy.”
“I’m thinking here.”
“Well hurry it upppp.”
“I think I’ll take longer now.”
“Dada!”
“He means yes you can do his next.”
“Yes, you can baby.”
“YAY!”
I turn back to my art work with a smile. Lots more coloring coming right up!”
“I have bite?” Daddy’s cooking dinner while Dada reads on the bed. We're in a hotel! It’s fun and even has a stove. Daddy doesn’t like constant fast food so while we’re in this place he is cooking.
“It’s way too hot.”
“Bwow on it?” One look at me and he gives in. Grabbing a piece of chicken he blows on it and he lets me bite it. Yummy!
“Well by that face I say it’s little one approved.” That needs dada’s attention. “Dada try a piece, daddy?”
“He can, but no more till dinners done.” He hands me a piece and I skip to dada. “Here you go.”
“Well if it’s little one approved I must try it, huh?” “Yep!” He eats it and I can tell he loves it too. Then I skip to daddy. “You da best.” “Thank you princess, I tr-.” Before he could finish his sentence, the fire alarm goes off, making me jump and clutch his arm. It’s so loud, my ears hurt. Dada jumps from the bed to open the door as I cling to daddy.
“It’s not just our room, it’s the entire building.” I think I hear him swear but I’m too scared to point it out.
The loud noise on top of the scare has tears coming to my eyes. I really hate loud noises and being scared.
“Hey hey, it’s okay.” Daddy squats down to me and covers my ears with a kiss to my forehead. I didn’t notice daddy going out to figure out what’s going on. “Loud.” “I know, little one, I’m so sorry.” I bury my face in his chest as he stands back up. Then let myself cry. “Shhh.” He shushes me as I cling to him. His hand runs through my hair to help soothe but what would really help is for this noise to go away. “Dinners done, why don’t we sit here and wait for dada to be back?” I nod.
He brings me to the bed and grabs my noise cancelling headphones on. It cancels out some of the noise which helps a lot. He stays on the bed with me, his arm around my shoulder. Then it goes quiet. I look up at him and he nods. Slowly I take the headphones off and….peace. Dada comes back in that moment, looking mad. “Someone pulled it.”
“People are inconsiderate these days.” Daddy responds. I’m too overwhelmed to talk. Dada comes over to the side of the bed and kneels. “You okay, baby?” I nod slowly and let him wipe my remaining tears. “Do you want to listen to your playlist for a little then eat dinner with me and Daddy? We can all cuddle up on the bed if you wanna be touched, if not we can split up and eat.” “Cuddle.” “You got it, let me settle the plates.” He turns to daddy. “I’ll handle it, stay here with her.” He walks back to our mini kitchen and gets to work.
“Oh, someone sees your sad and doesn’t like it.”
Daddy hands me strawberry and I talk to him. “I didn’t likes that. Sorry about your little ears too, I know it wasn’t nice. People meanies.”
“Exactly they are.” Daddy makes him talk making me giggle. “He don talk like that daddy!” ‘Okay, sorry wrong voice.” He laughs and lets me go back to talking to my plushie.
“Yay!” We’re going to an arcade with soooo many games and I’m excited!
“Slow down please.” Daddy yells making me stop on the sidewalk. We’re almost thereee, why did I need to slow down?
“Thank you.” He says catching up and grabbing my hand.
As we walk in I gasp, this place is huge. They lead us over to this big screen thingy. “Here you go. It has five hundred credits.”
“That’s lots daddy!” I whisper shout.
“Yep, all for you. Where to first?”
“Wheel!” A game where you pull a lever and it spins and win tickets.
40.
“Daddy try?” 100.
Dada? 20.
I giggle at him. “I swonger than you.”
“It seems that way huh, baby?”
Next up. Air hockey as they call it?
Me and dada.
I hit the thing but it goes by so fast and dada scores. “This fast.”
“Gotta be quick.” He winks.
I lose. 6-1. I frown but daddy steps in. “Let’s try, yeah?”
I nod and hit the thing again and send it straight into his. He’s shocked.
“Well. Remind me to not play against an upset princess. She may win.” I giggle.
And win I did! 6-3. Hehehe
I watch as daddy plays a game where you hit clowns. They’re scary!
“You wanna try?”
“No tanks. Can I get some candy?”
“Maybe later. Do you wanna drive with us?”
“Cars!” I race to the racing game where there’s four open spots.
“Princess, you have to wait for us. There’s lots of people here, you could get lost.”
‘Sorry, daddy.”
I came in 3rd but I’m happy with it.
“Yay!”
“Okay, now do you want to try for candy?” They have a little machine with a claw. It’s so small.
“Please!” He swipes the card and I try my hardest to get lots of candy. And I did. I giggle seeing the handful. “One piece.” Dada’s a party pooper. But I grab a toostie roll after daddy decides it’s all safe.
“Alright, while you’re enjoying that let’s see if I can win you a new plushie, huh?” I nod excitedly. He takes me and daddy over to a bigger version of the candy thingy. “How’s the purple bear?” “Yeah!” He nods and swipes the card. As he does I hear a noise and turn to spot this very colorful machine. Daddy’s helping dada to go far back to get the bear. The colors are close, I should go check it out. So, I do. They can see me.
When I get to the machine it doesn’t work and I pout till I see one another foot away and walk to it. It works! I frown seeing I don’t have the card. “Da-.” I turn to see them gone. My heart races. I’m not even worried about the card. Where are my daddies? Tears brim my eyes as I feel myself get smaller since I’m scared.
As I go to turn I bump into something and gasp. It’s another man.
“I’m sorry.” He says before looking at me. “Hey, you okay?” He’s daddy tall, but his hair is wayy longer, maybe a meanie guy daddy told me about? I let the tears fall hot and fast as I get more scared. The only word coming out of my mouth is ‘daddy” as I try to walk by. I hear a sigh from behind me. “Hey,little one?” I turn thinking it’s daddy but it's the same guy. He’s down to my height now with a softer tone. Shoot. Someone just found out my secret. Crying harder.
“Hey, no no. It’s okay, sweet thing. I’m a daddy. Look. Me and my little one. I’m David and this is Lily.” He shows me his phone. Some part of me is relieved but still scared. “Let’s clean this pretty face up and find your daddy.” “Daddies.” “Two?” “Mhm!”
“Oh, well I bet they’re just as scared of you. We’ll go find them.” He helps me slow the tears before standing up and reaching for my hand. I grab his, feeling safer than a normal stranger. As we turn past the candy machine I see Dada. “Dada!’ I yell not caring who hears anymore. Then Daddy comes into sight. I start sobbing as they run to me. I hug them as they get close. Letting go of David’s hand. ‘Shit.” They both breathe out before checking me for harm. Everything around me is so small, I don’t think my voice works anymore. I grab dada’s shirt before trying to suck my thumb before he tells me it’s yucky. “Thank you man.” Daddy says, reaching out for his hand. “No problem. I’m a daddy too, if Lily was lost I’d have to find her asap.” They both let out at a sigh at him mentioning being a daddy. “Hey, if you’d like, maybe she can meet lily one day?” “Absolutely.” Daddy’s voice is tight. “Hey, I’m going to clean her up.” Dada says walking me to a bathroom. Luckily a big one made for families. “Little one,, we told you to stay close. That you can’t walk away.” His voice is Very stern. Worse than Daddy when he’s mad and he’s scary mean. “I sowwy.” “Yeah, I’m sure you are.” He replies, wiping the snot from my nose. “Don’t ever do it.again.” “I not.” I start crying again. “Fuck I was so scared.” He says hugging me tight. He pulls back and I see the tears in his eyes. “Please, little one. Say something next time.” “I will.” “Good. Now let’s go see what daddy has to say.”
“Hm, let’s see.” Dada mocks his thinking face while looking into my closet. Pink yells back at us because its my favvv color.
“Daddy! M cold!” I whine hugging the towel he gave me tighter.
“Sorry, princess. Just so many options for your cute self. Oh, got it!” He picks up my pink shirt with a bow on it and some white sweats that have bears on them.
“Perfects daddy!”
“Well, I am sorta a fashionista.” Huh?
“I make good outfits for crazies like you.” He laughs while tickling me.
“AHHH! Ticklemonster got me!”
We stop when we hear footsteps and see daddy in the doorframe. “Ah, I see you’re alive. With that scream I thought different.”
“Whoops.” Dada murmurs.
“Let’s see if she’s okay.” Daddy joins us on the bed then… tickles me too.
“Nooooo!” I giggle while trying to get away. Double tickle monsters!
“Okay okay. Let’s get you dressed so you can have your quiet time, yeah?”
“Mhm.” I nod happily.
“Pwetty!” I see the bows in my hair in the mirror and turn to hug dada. “Tanks.”
“You’re very welcome. You’re sooo pretty.” I giggle as daddy then leads us down the stairs. He already has my stuffies down there, some toys and my coloring stuff.
“You the best!’
“Mmmm no. That’s you.” They both kiss me on the forehead and let me go to my spot. I love this time. They let me have some time for peace and do what I want. I can have my headphones on and color peacefully but don’t think wrong, they never take their eyes off me. I can feel them but ignore it. It’s me time!
I grab my headphones already playing my little safe playlist Daddy made me and grab strawberry. “You can’t be alone.” I murmur to him grabbing my brown bear. “Here you two color this page!” I hand them a coloring page and crayons. Then I grab my own.
-
Elliot’s POV: “She’s so cute. How did we ever deserve her?”
“A miracle babe.” Austin, my husband, says as he lays his head against mine.
She’s whispering to all 4 of her stuffies. At first it just started off as Brown and strawberry. Now Pea and Olive have joined. Looks like she gave Olive one of her fairy books. She’s so sweet with her sharing.
“You read that too fast.” She switches the page back over on the green stuffed rabbit.
“Remind me to never read that fast.” I joke hearing her “mean” baby tone. Still kinda scary.
My eyes are set on her as she has her time. It’s been the number one thing she wants and we will always give her. But supervised. Little ones need to be watched, especially if they sink lower like she sometimes does.
Like now. She’s close to trying to eat a crayon.
Austin’s up before I can move, grabbing her hand. “Alright, little one. You know we don’t eat crayons, yeah?” She just blinks back at him. “Here.” He hands her the coloring book that’s connected to a water pen. When you put it on the page it starts to color. No mess needed and hopefully it’s dull colored enough for her not to eat it.
“There we go baby. Look, we use this.” The cutest confused face comes up on her face. “Hewp?”
He grabs the water pen and brushes it on the page. Cinderella’s dress is suddenly blue. “Wha! Magic?” We both chuckle at her excited tone. “Yep! Magic for a princess like you.” In the middle of my husband’s sentence I hear a car outside the house. My attention is suddenly on that. I look at him for a split second to show a look that says watch her. Not many people visit here or know about her little. It’s a safety thing she prefers only her daddies to know.
I walk towards the door fast as I hear the footsteps. Knocking would knock her out of her headspace and she needs this desperately. “I’m stepping outside for a second, continue playing with dada, okay?”
“Otay, daddy!” Thankfully she listens this time.
I check the peephole before stepping outside to meet the delivery guy. I nod to him and have a short conversation before letting him get back to his job. There’s no way I’m going to be able to hide this from the little inside. So, I take a breath and walk in.
They both turn to me with confused faces until it dawns on him. Pink bubble wand. The one thing she talked about one time and we said was too messy. But she’s been such a good girl recently I had to get it. Yeah, I’m a big softie for this little girl..
“Wha that?”
“A box.” Her head turns sideways, making me laugh.
“Do you want it now?”
“Me?”
“Yeah, princess. It’s for you.” Her eyes LIGHT up.
“Now pease!”
I cut the tape before bringing the box to her. The wrapping flying out of the box as she grabs it. “Wan!”
“Yep, the bubble wand you’ve wanted.”
“Tanks! Got’s the best daddies.” I can’t talk for Austin but I know my heart just tripled in size.
After a small whining fit from her the wand is officially in business. Didn’t know these things needed that many batteries or the film on the bubble solution would take a hot second to open. Not very good packaging for small littles. Which is a good thing in my book. It’s safe.
‘OOOO.” She giggles as the bubbles start flying.
“I’m glad-.” She moves the wand and bubbles straight into my mouth.
“Whoos! Sowwy.” I cough at the soap but wave her off. “It’s okay, it was an accident. But don’t point it at our faces okay? And you? Stop laughing.” I turn to my husband who’s dying of laughter.
“It’ll happen to you eventually.” I point to him as I go to grab a drink of water.
With my back to them as I grab a cup I hear. “Gross!” And some coughing. She did the same to him. “This time was my fault.” I hear him from between coughs. “Told you!” I laugh. I wouldn’t trade these two for the world.
Remember Austin is blonde with long hair, Elliot has almost shoulder length dark hair. Both over 6'2!
Life was starting to get the best of me. But it’s no surprise I was here doing exactly what daddies told me not to do. Plan rent and our next two week of activities. I knew better. Austin and Elliot were to add the card together but I’m an overthinker and needed to know what we’re doing sooner.
My head started to pound half way through. Not a good sign. Now my eyes are getting blurry and I’m starting to get irritated.
“You okay, baby?”
“I’m fine.” That came our rougher than expected. “Sorry, I’m okay. Just tired.”
“Baby, you know this is our job.” Daddy says taking a seat on the bed next to me, closing my laptop. “How about we have some darling time and go to bed?”
“But I have to know.” This happens when I stress too much. I told them I could handle working more than my normal part time hours this week. So, I worked double what I usually would the last two weeks and I’m exhausted. “You don’t. We will help you with that. You worry about having fun.”
Tears form in my eyes. “Oh, little one. Okay, here.” Dada moves the device as Daddy pulls me on his lap. “Shh, it’s okay.” “I’m so tired.”
“I know, princess. We're going to fix that, yeah?”
“Strawberry says he has a story to tell you.” My pink cow is handed to me as I let myself cry. But he does have a story to tell me. Going grocery shopping with his family!
“Seems like a really important story, you’re listening hard.”
I lay my head on daddy’s shoulder and just breathe while listening. Dada takes my hair out of its ponytail and runs his hand through it. “Let’s get you showered.” Then I hear the water running. Bath time!
“Here we go.” The warm water feels nice on my skin as I sigh. But something's missing. “Da-.”
“Didn’t forget.” My ducks are in the tub now. “Thanks.” ‘Of course, sweet girl. You okay if I go make some dinner while daddy bathes you.” I hum a little mhm as I play with the ducks.
“Shit.” He murmurs as he hits the counter. “OOOOO.” “Sorry, sorry.” I giggle at the look on daddy’s face. We’re not allowed to swear and dada just did! “I’m grown. But sorry princess. Won’t happen again.” He blows a kiss and leaves the bathroom.
“Alright head back please.” Daddy cups his hand over my face as he pours water in my hair and then lathers it with soap. “So well behaved.” “Alwayz!!” “You’re funny.”
-
“I want a happy plate.”
“Yes, dada.” I stare down at the plate with chicken nuggets, green beans and pears. I don’t know about the green beans but I’ll try.
I failed.
“Little one, you have to have at least two.” Nooo. He picks up the fork and I scrunch my face but his stern one has me taking a bite. Yum… I make it through.
“Thank you. Now we can lay here, yeah?” He pats to his lap and I climb into it, laying my head on his shoulder, staring at daddy. He’s next to us eating. “Hi, little one.” “Bleh.”
“Mm, well that’s very interesting. You comfy?”
“Mhm!” I’m in the pink polka dotted outfit he picked out for me.
“Good. It’s bedtime in twenty minutes. No, no arguments, you’re exhausted and can barely keep your eyes open now.” I open them wide. He chuckles. “Let me guess, she widened them?” “Yep.” “That’s an old trick, little one.”
“Nuh uh!”
“You don’t want to cuddle between me and dada? Us rubbing your back in the dark? The coldest fan on?” Okay, that does sound like candy land! Paradise on Earth. He chuckles, “I see the change in your eyes. You like that, little one?”
“Pwease?”
“One cuddle sesh coming your way.” He says with a quick kiss to my nose.
-
Now laying between my two favorite people with my fan on, I feel the happiest. Little with no stress from what’s coming next.
“Goodnight little one.”
“Sleep well, we love you so much. Here for anything.”
“The game’s at six. I’ll be able to pick up the wings beforehand.” I hear daddy’s voice from beside me. My eyes slowly blink open, everything around feels so different. My mind, the room. Before I can speak, I feel something on my lip. It’s strawberry, I was sucking on him in my sleep?
“Hi, little one.” Dada’s voice registers and I stare at him. He must’ve just came back from a run, his blonde hair is a mess. It makes me giggle behind strawberry who was still stuck to my mouth. “Whatcha laughing you’re pretty little head at, huh?” It’s then I realized that words weren’t coming easy to me. “Air.” The H being non-existent. His head tilts. Suddenly I just want to be held, everything is tough. I feel the tears before I cry. “Dada.” “Baby, hey, what’s going on?” I feel a hand on my back but I’m getting picked up before much more. “Shhh, I’m here.”
“My heart.” I hear daddy say from behind as I lay my head on Dada’s shoulder let the tears flow. I see Daddy come behind dada, facing me with the head thermometer. “N’t ick.” “I just need to check, little one. Nope, you’re perfectly healthy. What’s going on?”
I blink, staring at him with no words. I look at Dada’s shoulder, the full thing showing only the little bit of his tank top covering it. I do the one thing I know soothes me. Put my mouth on his shoulder. Mouth stimulation has always been a way to cool me down.
“Oh.” They seem to share a moment. “Hey, little one?” Stare. “You feeling smaller today?” That’s what this is. Nod. “That’s okay, let’s go get some food in this tiny tummy, yeah?” Double nod. They chuckle. “Alright, cutie.” Dada carries me downstairs followed by Daddy after handing me Strawberry.
“Here we go.” Dada says sitting with me on the couch. “Special agent OSO is on, wanna see?” “Mm.” I’m fine with just hearing it for now I don’t wanna move. “Okay sweetie.” He murmurs rubbing my back, not making an attempt at trying to move me. Daddy joins us back on the couch with what I’m assuming is food. I’m right because dada moves me to where I’m sitting across his lap ignoring my whines. “You have to eat, little one. Especially when you’re like this.” When my eyes catch the plate my hands try to grab for it, it does look good. They both chuckle but daddy pulls it back. “Open.” He says and my mouth opens itself. “There we go.” Yum. Strawberry applesauce. “Already messy.” Dada chuckles wiping off my face. Special agent oso catches my attention in the middle of the second bite. I luv this show. “Alright, guess food isn’t the main attraction anymore.” I make grabby hands towards Daddy, wanting to spend time with him now. “Want me?” I nod fast. “Okay, sweet girl, come here.” My hand finds his hair fast, dada always keeps his up so daddy’s is never safe. “Ouch. Yeah, should’ve expected that. Whatcha doin huh? You all happy?” Daddy loves to baby talk. I blink at him a couple times and remember one of my favorite little sayings. “Blah blah blah!” “Hm, well I don’t say blah blah blah.” I giggle and look back at Dada. He’s leaning against the couch smirking at us. His two favorites. Atleast I thinks we are. “Blep!” “Oh, someone’s suddenly very energetic.”
“This is certainly going to be an interesting day. What do you say little one?” Definitely.
“Blah.” They both chuckle again. I’m sure they wouldn’t change it for the world.
My eyes are blurry as they open. It feels like it’s already early morning but I know through the darkness it’s not even half way through the night yet. When I try to roll over a body stops me. Daddy must’ve come home early tonight. But that means I can’t move on my other side either. And I know I won’t be able to sleep again right now. Sighing, I run my hands through my hair and try not to cry. I’ve been sleeping so bad recently and after a 12 hour shift I could really use some good sleep. I grab Strawberry from my feet and cuddle him to my chest, it’s going to be another long night and I hate it. “Baby?” I jump at Daddy’s voice. “Daddy?” I whine turning to look at him. “Oh, sweet girl.” He rolls over and I know that’s a signal to lay on his chest.
“Bathroom first?” Having a small bladder and crazy mind sucks, I always wake up to go to the bathroom. “Of course.” The clock reads 2:30 am.He guards the bathroom door while I go and I hear him talk. Da da must’ve woken up.
I’m right. When I walk out the side table light is on and he’s sitting up. “Sleepy.” I murmur climbing back into bed. “I know, sweet girl.” He kisses my forehead as daddy climbs back in behind me. He lays down again and I lay my head on him. Then the light is back off. “Try to sleep, little one.” It’s always easier to fall back asleep when I’m smaller than usual. “Here’s Strawberry. He says he wants lots of cuddles.” “I can give them!” “Yes you can. Goodnight.” “Goodnight.” I close my eyes and let our silence and the noise of the fan take over.
“No!”
“Little one, wake up now.” My eyes snap open and both of them look at me. “Daddy?”
I feel the tears coming before my state of mind can. “Pretty girl, don’t cry, it’s okay, you’re safe Daddy has you.” He pulls me into his arms as Dada turns the light back on. 3:50am.
“Was so bad. I just want to sleep.”
“I’m so sorry baby.”
My L’s are starting to slur more. “I’m going to grab a snack okay?”
“No!”
“There’s some snacks in the top drawer, I pack them just incase.” Daddy tells him.
“Oh, and they’re your favorites.” Dada says picking up the bag.
“Pwease.”
“Here you go, baby.”
“See, no more tears. We have you.” While finishing the snack, Dada grabs a book. Something he luvs to do since I can’t be on my phone like this. When you give a mouse a cookie. One of my favoritues.
Before I know it my eyes are slowly closing again as I lay against dads’s chest. The snack bag gets pulled from me but I’m already too sleepy to care. “Goodnight, baby.”

The sun shines as my eyes open this time. My cheek lays on my drool stained pillow and I whine as my neck hurts to move. I give up on this idea of sleep.
“Hi.” Daddy whispers, brushing the hair from my face. He’s sitting up, the clock again reads 7am.
“Do you want to go downstairs to the kitchen with me?”
I sleepily nod. He gets up and picks me up, handing me Strawberry. My legs wrap around his waist as I lay my head on his shoulder.
“Here we go.” He murmurs grabbing the TV remote turning on Special Agent OSO.
“Nooo.” I whine when he tries to set me down. “Kitchem.” “Right, I’m sorry.” He carries me into the kitchen as he grabs breakfast then sets me on the counter. “Want to watch?”
“Mhm!” He chuckles and kissing my forehead before cutting some fruit.
After a few we’re back on the couch, he feeds me yogurt mixed with granola and fruit while I sip on the icky water but daddy says I have to drink it. “Good girl, you finished all of it. I’m going to brush this mop on your head then you can play if you’d like”
“Is hair daddy!”
“Ooops. You do have hair huh? Not a mop.” “Silly.”
He’s always gentle when brushing it.
“Dada!” I giggle when seeing him walk down the stairs. Now officially a good morning, got both daddies!
“Oh, I see both my favorites are down here. Goodmorning princess.” He says, kissing my forehead, “good morning to you too.” He says kissing daddy. “Gross!” They chuckle.
“Can you lay here for a minute while I talk to Daddy in the kitchen about some big people business?” “Yep!”
“Thank you, baby.”
I lay on my stomach on the couch, pulling the blanket on me as they walk away. I hum along to the theme song, not noticing my eyes closing at the familiar tune. Maybe sleep is asking to catch up with me.
“Sleep well, darling.” I hear a whisper and I try to mumble back but my voice doesn’t let me..
“It’s a dulphin!” I raise the plush animal up to both daddies, who sit on the couch.
“I see, little one.” Daddy says with a smile, taking a photo of me and the animal.
“I think Santa didn’t know how many animals you already have.” Seems he put that towards Dada but idk.
“Never too many, daddy!” I look at him with a challenging baby frown.
“I know, baby. Just saying.”
“We can introduce them all to each other tonight after dinner.”
I’m helping them make Christmas dinner too. They made me promise to wear an apron and gloves if I help cut things, which I never can but I help! So it matters.
“Yay! Strawberry is gonna love him. Oo, look daddy, this one is for you!!” I pick up the item and bring it over to him.
“Thank you baby, very helpful.”
I’m not sure what it is but I hope he enjoys it.
“Merry Christmas!” I repeat for the millionth time since I woke up but for once on Christmas, I’m happy.
“Merry Christmas, little one.” They said in unison, chuckling at my enthusiasm. Now let’s see what Daddy is opening.
I ring the doorbell waiting for the door to be opened. We’re at Elliot’s “Aunt’s” house for Thanksgiving. She’s actually his cousin but she’s way older and he just prefers calling her Aunt.
“Aw hi!” She greets us with hugs each and welcomes us into her home. I’ve only been here one other time but I’m always nervous here. The last time I left with a pounding headache. Rejection or people judging me, no matter how much I push it to the side, bothers me a lot.
“Everyone’s in the living room. We’re just waiting for one more dish to be ready then we’re going to eat.” There’s presents wrapped around her giant tree. She’s rich rich. Two story house, six bedrooms, and a TON of elephant decorations.
“What’s up man, long time no see.” His cousins are all here, uncle, and a few family friends with their kids. Wish I could play with them. Nope, we’re here to eat and hang with family. I hug everyone who comes up to me. It was a shock to them about him marrying Austin. Can’t imagine the internal thoughts they have about me joining. I don’t even want to begin to think about those.
“Do you want to play hide and seek with us?” The kids come running up to me. I know I’m a little short but I’m not a kid. But I'd rather hang out with kids any day than adults who talk non-stop. “Sure!” I kiss both my men before letting the kid drag me to a chair. “Okay, count to 30!”
“Alright.” I close my eyes and count to the exact number. Feeling a little better than I’m blending in somewhere this time. I get up to look for them. This won’t be easy with six rooms that are open to everyone. They could be anywhere! Downstairs I check three of the rooms and find them nowhere. Hmm. Upstairs? I look upstairs and don’t think till I get to the game room where I find the boy behind the gaming chair. “Got you!” A giggle gives away the younger girl and we head back downstairs. It goes this way for three rounds where my battery starts to wear down. They beg me to play again but I politely declined to their dismay. I feel overstimulated but I’m going to ignore it because I’m a big girl and can handle it. I just wanna hold cuddles and listen to my own music. “Hey, you okay?” Elliot scares me out of my thoughts but I just brush it all off. “Yeah, just a little tired.” Because I couldn’t fall little so I could sleep, was too busy stressing today. “I’m sorry, sweetheart. Come get us if you want to leave early.” “This is your family babe, we’re fine to stay as long as you want.” “My word still stands” He says in my ear before kissing me and heading back into the kitchen with the other adults. Austin looks at me with a concerned look but I just give him a smile. Them babying me right now would just make things worse. \
“Do you want to see something cool?” His aunt ask and how can I turn it down?
“My late husband bought all these. They turn any lights into shapes. This one is santa and these are stars.” She hands me paper glasses almost like the 3D one’s. I try the star and then the Santa. Whoa. These are cool. “He must’ve been so fun. Thank you for showing me.” “Of course, I may have some more. Let me know if you want them later.” Then she walks away. I remember Austin told me her husband took his own life. I feel so bad for her.
Then the thing I’ve been dreading the most. Eating. I’ve been to places where I used the wrong everything and I don’t want to do that. And what happens if I eat too much?
“I’ve got it.” Austin says coming over to kiss my forehead. He must have been watching me overthink from the moment Elliot’s aunt told us to get food. But I do have to sit at the large table surrounded by everyone. I can do that though. Everyone will be talking to each other, I’m sure I could get away with it. “Isn’t she grown? She can get her own plate.” I hear his uncle say. His uncle is one of the worst people I know. Cheated on his wife after having three kids., Insane. Probably why Elliot doesn't even bat him an eye. But Austin speaks up. “She gets anxious. I’m 100% fine with doing it for her, thanks.” “Come on baby, let’s go sit.” I follow them to the table where I sit between both of them and across from the family friend. She’s really sweet from our one interaction but she’s quiet too. Her kids are the exact opposite.
I start eating while everyone starts talking. I can handle restaurants but not being used to this starts something in me. At least in public all the conversations are at different tables. This is six different conversations at one table. A lot. I try to push it away. The world won’t revolve around me. Toughen up. But I can’t. I let out a little whine. Immediately regretting it. Then remember our sign.
I secretly tap one of each of their arms twice. And immediately they stop talking to look at me. I must have been not hiding how I was feeling that well because they both pushed back their chairs and grabbed their plates. Thankfully not many people noticed. “It’s a little loud in here for me. We’re going to go outside real quick.” I look at him confused. Why is he taking the blame? But he takes my plate and I follow them out the back sliding door. They set the plates down then walk me to the side of the pool that’s not in the view of the others. Then they both get to my level. “What’s going on?” “Lots.” I didn’t expect to start crying. “Baby.” Both of their faces fall. “I’m so sleepy. Then playing made me wanna go little but I couldn’t. And then many people talking at one time and then I non know.” I feel myself getting smaller. They give each other a look. “Do you think a little time as Darling would help?” I nod my head. “Here’s what we’ll do. I’ll get another plate and come out to eat it. You can watch paw patrol out here with dada, okay? I have your earbuds right here so nobody will notice you have headphones on. Then we’ll leave. But why leave his family especially after leaving the table with them to eat out here with me.
“But your family.”
“ I just wanted to show you guys off, this family wants nothing but attention, okay? My family is you two.” I nod and hug him tighter. Feeling Dada hug me from behind me. “Sweet girl.” They wipe my tears, each placing a kiss on my cheek. “Here, all better, yeah? We’ll sit this way facing the pool so they can’t see you and we’ll be blocking the phone. Doesn’t matter what anyone thinks anyway, right?” “Wight.” Daddy walks in to get a plate a food, even though his is still half full. These people made lots of food but I’m extremely picky. Something else I feel bad about.
“Here we go.” Dada sets the phone on the table, paw patrol playing through my headphones. Thankfully he’s pretty tall so no one can see what we doing. In between calming down I hadn’t notice that I hadn’t ate much till a spoon with mashed potatoes comes into my view. I whine trying to get it off. “You have to eat, little one.” Oh. Was dada trying to feed me. “Otay.” I let the spoon go in my mouth and my stomach makes a noise. Guess I really was hungry. “I want a dog that is a police man.” “We can certainly try to find one.” He doesn’t sound too optimistic about it, but that’s okay. Next bite is Mac and Cheese. Yummy. The sliding door opens and I freeze until I hear daddy’s voice. He sits down across from us and I see lots of food on his plate. “That’s lots of food daddy.” “I gotta keep the body up princess, how else am I gonna protect you? These muscles don’t just appear. Gotta eat lots.” I remember now, which is why I have to eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Gross. But I want to be big and strong like both my daddy’s. They take turns feeding me till I can no longer stomach anything else. Then daddy finishes his plate and I know what comes next. Pretending to be big. Apparently while Daddy was getting his food inside he told them he was only staying till after the food. I still feels bad. “Alright, we’re going to say our goodbyes. You think you got this?” “I gots this!” “Alright!” I high five him (an actual low five because he’s too tall.) Everyone walks our way when we're inside. Daddy goes to throw away the trash since everything we used was plastic. “Hey sweetie, thank you for coming today. Sad your visit was short but I’m always here for anything.” “Thank you, your food was so good.” We start a small conversation until Daddy gets back and I sign knowing I can stop talking, no matter how sweet anyone here is.
I hug everyone else goodbye as we head out the door. “You did it, sweet girl.” Daddy says as he buckles me into the car. “Here’s cuddles." They brought him?? “After a long night, Baby, I figured. Now you can cuddle him on the way home and nap if you need it.’ I luv this life.
“It’s the same as last year's baby.” Daddy says, setting down the tub of all our Christmas decorations.
“Nuh uh. Daddy bought more, you just never noticed.” He turns to me confused. “Whatcha say, little one?” I see daddy over on the couch, turning his head at me. His dark hair is slightly in his face but I can still see the look he has. I wasn’t supposed to tell dada.
“Nuthin.” I giggle walking over to daddy and sitting next to him.
“I heard that, you bought more?”
“She gave me the puppy eyes when holding up the garland and the deer.” He chuckles and opens the tub. “I knew something about this felt fuller when pulling it down. Alright, my helpers who’s doing what?”
“I help with odaments.” Whatever the word is.
“Do you want to help dada put the lights on too?”
“Da colorful ones?” When they nod I jump excitedly. I likes helping.
‘Alright, I’m going to hand these to you behind the tree. Wrap them around then hand them back to me.” Hm. Seems a little hard but I gots it.
“There you go!” I giggle handing him back the lights. “Make sure you cover any empty spots, you want it to be really colorful.”
“Yes, dada.” I salute him then finish helping him.
“Here’s some hot chocolate for my two helpers.”
“Thank you!” I give daddy a cheek kiss when he comes in with three cups of hot chocolate. Well three mugs and mine in my favorite sippy cup. Luv him.
“Alright. Seems we have two more strands, princess lights.” More! “Gots it, I help!”
And that I do, Once all the string lights are up daddy lines up all the other decorations and we start decorating the tree, my favorite part!!
“Careful of the hooks.” They remind me as I almost grab one from the hook instead of itself. Don’t wanna step on any either, that hurts lots when taking it down. “Green!” I say pointing to the tree. They’ve always let both parts of me help with the tree. Big me likes green and gold so we do that! Then I gets some characters to put up and I get to help puts it all together. S’fun.
“Good job baby.” Daddy says kissing my cheek. “S’turning very pretty.”
“Because you’re doing it, little one. You’re such a good helper.”
“Tanks!”
“Alright, now the tree. Would you like to do the honors?”
“Pleaseeee.”
“Alright, here you go.” Dada lifts me a bit higher and I put it on. Gold? Think thats the color.
Drink break. Tree looks so good and I’m excited to continue decorating but daddy wants me energized and no low blood sugar allowed. Luckily it’s not too hot. Pretty sure daddy tested it before even bringing it to me. Nothing hurts their baby, at least that what they tell me.
I sit on daddy’s lap telling them santa stories while dada lays out the bows for the cabinets and all the adult christmas cooking stuffs. Then our stockings! That’s what Santa stocks first.
“I has my pink one please daddy?”
“Of course princess, it has a tiara just for you.” Yayyy.
“Do you want to hang it up? Careful that holder is heavy and will give you an owie if it hits you.” Oh, gots to be very careful.
“Gots it.” I carefully hang it up. Done! Followed by both daddies on their holder.
Then it’s on to the cabinets, they said we do the lights all around the house tomorrow. Because I needs to be rested before I’m doing all the heavy work. Daddy always is paranoid about me falling off these counters. Think he’s had one too many nightmares about me getting hurt. Scary but shows his love for me.
I sit on the counter on my knees with daddy RIGHT behind me, his chest almost to me. While dada hands me the ribbons and helps me put them on straight. ‘Hm. Alright that one is lined up perfectly. Perfect job princess, tighten it.”
“Yay! Next!”
By the time all the cabinets are done, I’m tired. Don’t know who’s idea it was to start this at night. (Mine with bribing daddy)
“I think garland can go up tomorrow with everything else. Princess Lights over here is sleepy.”
“Nuh, uh.” I mumble as dada carrys me up the stairs. “Yes, huh.” We just passed by the hallway mirror and you didn’t call me crazy hair. Oops. Now he knows I’m sleepy. “Caught.” He chuckles. Usually if he carries me pass the mirror I call him that because his light hair is always a messss.
“Tomorrow will be another job for Princess Lights. Get some sleep.” I try to fight but no use
"Nuh uh, I said snakes look weird!" They both share a look. It's way past my naptime and when I'm tired, I get hyper. Which is weird but it's me. "How?" Daddy questions, trying to hide his confused face.
“They’re long but nice.”
“I don’t think snakes are nice, baby.”
“They can be!” I giggle rolling myself around in the blanket.
I run my hands through daddy’s dark hair. He’s been in laying in bed next to me trying to get me to take a nap. I think dada is going on a walk bc he has his tank top on and his blonde hair up in a bun. But they both made the mistake of telling me I’m doing my favorite thing after dinner and I don’t wanna nap.
“Little one, please. Just a fifteen minute nap.”
“Nuh uh!”
He breathes heavily and I giggle. I am tired but nap when I’m gonna do THAT after dinner?!
They go quite and I’m confused. “Daddy?” Nothing. “Dada?” Nothing. But I’m looking right at him. I blink to fight back the sleepiness. It’s been such a long day. “Mm still think they’re weird.” I think maybe daddy fell asleep and daddy is just watching us.
Maybe closing my eyes for a second will make time fly.
’m a deer. Big me was a vampire last night for the party but tonight we’re going to get candy and I’m a dear. Daddy’s just done my dots with my help because I big enough to do it but he says I’m not. So, he let me help.
“You’re a pretty dear.”
“Deer can’t be pretty.”
“They sure can, you’re the perfect example.”
“Tanks!”
“Of course, sweet girl. Are you ready to go have fun?”
“Yes, lots of candy awaits!”
“Except you can have a little afterwards.”
“Not all?”
“Not unless you want a sick tummy.” Daddy says walking into the bathroom with my finishing touches to the costume. He grabs my pink princess bucket as we head to the car.
When we make it to the place my nerves finally kick in. What if people think I’m too old?
“Hey, what do we not care about?”
“People's opinions.”
‘Good. You’re having fun and if anyone says anything, we’ve got you.”
That’s good enough for me and I finally fall back into my safe headspace. “Onward daddies!”
“Yes, ma’am princess.” They salute together and then we’re off. Daddy holds on to a bag that has my glucose kit, some wipes, bandaids, my sippy cup and a change of clothes in case this costume gets too itchy. They’re the bestest bodyguards. That’s their costumes. So no people hunt a friendly deer. Daddy has his blonde hair in a bun with dark sunglasses on his head and other daddy’s hair is a little fluffier today and he’s wearing his sunglasses. He kinda looks funny because s’dark outside but he okay. They both wear suits too.
“Trick or treat.” I say to the friendly people who hold a bucket of candy. ‘Oh, how cute!”
“Thank you!” They nod and hand me candy and I turn to daddies to see them smiling. This will be a good night.
“Trick or treat! OOO look, giant skeleton! It’s almost tall as you daddy.” He grumbles but I just giggle. But there’s also a polar bear. “Christmas?” Not yet.
“You’re doing very good, baby.”
“Look at my bag! S’very full. I have a piece now?”
I hand daddy a Reeses and he squints at me. Then Hershey’s to daddy too! “Hmm, I’m not sure but I think this deer is bribing us.” I turn my head. “The deer is giving us candy so she can have one too.”
“Deer would never!”
“Mhm. Fine, she can have one.”
“Yay! Unwrap please.” He grabs it and examines it. Making sure it’s “safe.” I whine as he takes forever, turning on his phone flashlight. “Hey, please don’t start the attitude we only have a few houses left and we’ll head home. Or we can leave now.”
“No, sorry daddy.” I’m honestly starting to feel a little tired but they could never know. But he’s right. There’s maybe three houses left and we’re done.
The last house gave me a full candy bar and I giggled looking at daddy’s reactions. Sadly, they won’t allow me to eat it all but it won’t stop me from giving them puppy eyes. “Water please, daddy?” I ask as we walk back to the car. “Of course, baby.” He hands me the yellow cup that has Winnie The Pooh on it as we continue walking. I didn’t notice my hands shaking as I grab the cup. He takes it back gently and holds it to my lips. “We’re checking your blood sugar when we get to the car.” He says right as we get to the car. Silly daddy. “I should’ve made you potatoes or something. Or checked it sooner.” Daddy says, making me look confused. “It keeps you up.” Ohhh. “But he should stop. We both should take responsibility in forgetting to remind each other.”
I look over to the bag on the seat next to me. “Can’t waits to eat it all.”
“You’re funny little one.”
“Tanks!” Little did they know it’s no joke.
“Had lots of fun, daddies, thank you.”
“You’re welcome.”
“Okay, lets check this blood sugar and get our deer home and comfy.”
“Strawberry?” “He’s right here and you can hold my hand too.” Sitting in the car must hit me with how tired I am. Maybe walking for two hours isn’t the smartest. “Seepy.”
“I’ll sit with her back here you can drive.” Daddy says, his dark hair now all sweaty. Walking must kill him too. Even though he’s more bigger.
He buckles me in while daddy gets in the front to drive. Usually they don’t like me sleeping in the car since I can’t sleep through the night but Within a few minutes my head lays on his shoulder and my eyes close. Nothin will stop sleepy me now.
“We get it for Cuddles, please daddy?” I knew they’d give in. I giggle as I put the pumpkin in daddy’s hands. “OOO. This one can be daddy’s it’s big.”
“Whoa, there. You’re too small to carry that giant pumpkin, little one. Don’t need you getting hurt.”
“But I strong.”
“Never can be too careful.”
Giving in I stop trying to pick up pumpkins and walk over to the hay. There’s some photo stations.
“Can we take some photos, baby.” I nod excitedly. There’s some cut outs of characters from Charlie Brown. Me and Daddy’s take turns taking photos of each other.
“Do you want to take one of me and Daddy.”
“Yes!” I gently take the camera and wait for them to get into the frame. I’m lucky to have two, they make me happy.
“Gotta click it, baby.” Oh! Right the pictures. I’m just having too much fun. “There ya go!”
They come back and join me when I hear an unfamiliar voice behind me. “Excuse me.” I jump and grab the closest hand to me. We turn and see a sweet older couple behind us. “Would you mind if we take some photos of the three of you?” Oh. That’s sweet but I gotta pretend to be big. I can do this.
“That would be great, thank you.” Daddy answers. We all three pose on the hay in front of a poster. Looking like the sweet couple we are. They take a few but I feel myself get to antsy from sitting still when there’s so much to do. There’s even a maze here!
“Thank you.” We all say after they hand the camera back. They nod and tell us to find them if we want anymore.
“You doing okay, little one?”
“Mhm.”
“Wait.” Daddy pulls us over to the shade and takes out my cup from the bag. “Here. Drink some please. We also need to check your blood sugar since we’re walking in the heat.”
“No. Hurts.” I frown. Weirdly the more I check it, the more the needle hurts. “Meanie needle.” “I know but it needs to be done.” I huff but grab my cup, handing daddy my other hand, closing my eyes while I sip my water.
“Eighty-eight.” He sighs and grabs some of the snacks that bring me up. “Have at least two.” I nod and do my job.
“Done! We do maze now?”
“Let’s go.” I grab their hand and we make our way to the entrance. Giving the sweet lady a ticket for each of our admissions.
“This way first.” I drag them to the left and continue our way through. That was the wrong way. Oops, now we go the right way.
In the middle there’s another picture station and I go behind it to take a photo. Holding cuddles in the head of the other character cut out next to me so he can be in a picture too. Sadly, there’s hay behind this that you have to sit on and big me decided on shorts today. I quickly get up feeling my knees start to hurt and we start walking again. After another minute my knees start to itch but I ignore it.
“We did it!” I giggle as we exit and get a pumpkin sticker as a reward. “You’re so smart, little one. You did that all on your own!”
“Yea!”
“Alright, let’s pick out a pumpkin now, yeah? Then we can continue doing activities after.”
“Otay!”
We walk along the rest of the pumpkins but I stop every few seconds, itching my knees that are suddenly hurting more. “You okay?”
“Itchy.”
“I’m sorry, baby.”
“What’s itchy?” I look down at my knees and they look with me.
“Oh, honey.” They’re all scratched up. Even though I was only in the stuff for a minute at most. “Owie.”
“Looks like it. Luckily we have these.” He brings out the first aid kit that has pink bandaids and some cream.
“Baby has such sensitive skin. It’s okay, I know exactly what to do.” Daddy bends down to place the stuff on them. His dark hair blowing with the breeze. “Doctor daddy to the rescue. You can be in paw patrol.”
“But I’m a human.”
“Human version silly.”
I hear other daddy laugh. “M’ very funny.”
“Yes you are.”
“There we go. All bandaged up. Bye bye itchy knees.”
“Bye bye. Thank you, daddy.” I kiss his forehead before he stands up.
“You’re such a sweet baby.”
“For you!”
Now onto the tractor ride!
“We’ll be using my shirt as seat for you since your skin doesn’t like it, okay?”
